I ordered a shredded beef taco and cheese enchilada I cut into the enchilada and the cheese was not melted and it was cold. I took it back up and told the girl and she said "you have to tell them when you place your order if you want the cheese inside melted". WHAT?! i have one by my house and i was in the area and some friends said this was the only good place around. I got the #4 with Chili Relano and a shreadded beef taco. The taco was the best. definitly a 5 but the chili relano had this red sauce on it that was horrible. once you got past the red sauce the chili relano was pretty good. i ended up going to the miguel jrs by my house the next day to get more of those tacos. read more

I LOVE Miguel's Jr.! I wish they would open one in the South Bay! I might travel to the Riverside Galleria just for a bean and cheese burrito! They are the best in my opinion. The ratio of beans and cheese is perfect, in fact, they really put a lot of cheese in there. It has been awhile since I have had one, but just thinking about it is making me want one right NOW! I don't like the meat as much, but I'll eat it if it is mixed with those delicious beans and tortilla! The burritos I would usually get are the bean and cheese, bean cheese potato (delicious), and bean rice and cheese. Nachos once in awhile. I have also had the Miguel's Jr. in Grand Terrace, and that one might taste just a bit better than this one. Not sure why. If you have to go inland for any reason, make it a point to stop here, you won't be disappointed. Overpriced salad made mostly of really wet shredded iceberg lettuce. An extremely thin layer of beans on the bottom with a big pile of tasteless wet shredded iceberg lettuce a skimpy portion of tomatoes and shredded cheese and a few pieces of beef all completely smothered in a big glob of runny sour cream and what I think was supposed to be guacamole dressing. Miguel's Jr has been a family favorite for a long time. The bean and cheese burritos are big, tasty and inexpensive. They are so loaded with beans and cheese they often fall apart. You can always ask for a double wrap on your burrito. My daughter and I shared the nachos. We ordered shredded beef with the sauce on the side . It came exactly as ordered. We had more toppings than chips tho. It was good sized and it was a good price but I would add a few more chips . One thing that is wish Miguel Jr had was "real" guacamole. Their guacamole is more of a sauce than real chunky guacamole. We love the salsa bar with the fresh cilantro, fresh onions, fresh lemons as well as marinated carrots. Their salsa is not a chunky pico de gallo type but more of a thin salsa. We add our own cilantro and onions to make it just the way we like ! Bottom like .... We love Miguel Jr ! read more

Usually love this location but just ordered DoorDash from here and am super bummed. We are quarantined due to my boyfriend having Covid so we can't pick food up ourselves to check order. I would consider this family friendly Mexican. I knew exactly what to expect when I walked in. 2:00 p.m. on a Thursday.This place was packed. Schools out and it's hot. We came because of a power outage, something about Mylar balloons and graduations. So the mall was the place to be. Loaded with families, tweens, teens and mall employees on a lunch break. We fit in perfectly. No one around around to wipe our table, so I had to break out a couple wipes and do it myself. Done this countless times at fast food chains, this was no different. Sigh. I do consider this a somewhat healthier fastfood alternative than, let's say, those over processed, chemical laden chicken thingys. Paid $10.68 for a 2 taco carnes asada plate. The meat tasted like rubber with absolutely no flavor. The "famous sause" was without spice and had an oily consistency. The interior is super clean and pleasant with nice lighting from the outside. It had a decent salsa bar. I got their shredded beef "garbage burrito." It contains meat, refried beans, rice, cheese, sour cream, guacamole sauce, lettuce and tomatoes. Once it came out, it was huge! It was the size of a "Chiptole" burrito. The first few bites were good, but then it got very monotonous. The overall textures was mushy and blandish. It needed more meat, more veggies and less beans. If you like Taco Bell's burrito supreme, you'll love this burrito. I added their spicy salsa, cilantro and jalapenos to add more flavors and freshness to it, but after eating half of the burrito, I was done. Don't think I'll be back again. read more

My husband and I are HUGE Miguel's Jr. fans. We can easily go there 2-3 times a week and not get sick of it (as embarrassing as that is) The food quality and taste never disappoint, but my burritos seem to always without a doubt fall apart when I come to this location. I absolutely love Miguel's and I hate that this is the closest one to me. The customer service here is the worst. The cashiers are so unfriendly and don't say anything to you when you approach the register or say thank you. Customer service should be there number one priority. It makes the guest experience that much better. Another disappointing aspect is that this is the second time, in a year, Miguel's has raised its prices. If you are out at the Tyler Mall, I recommend eating at Miguel's jr instead of the food court. It's always busy, (which is a good sign) but the wait for the food isn't so bad. I was able to go during my lunch break, eat my food there, and have enough time to drive back to work. There are tables available inside the restaurant or "outside" in the mall wing, which is still indoors. They offer a self-serving station for drinks and salsas. Loses a star because parking sucks (it is a mall, after all). Loses another star because the area to wait in line, pickup food, grab salsa and refill your drink cups, is all in the same space so it gets really crowded. My recommendations: the shredded beef, potato, and cheese burrito, and the carne asada nachos. read more

Wait, what? What do you mean you've never had a wet garbage burrito in your mouth? I don't care how authentic or whatever this place may or may not be, the wet garbage burrito is a must-have. The "wet sauce" (or whatever) is soooo yummy and it's not spicy or anything like a lot of other places. What I love too, is that the sauce doesn't dry up and get all crusty over your burrito so if you have leftovers, your food doesn't look so disgusting either. The service here is really inconsistent though. A lot of times when I ask for it wet, I get charged for it, but it doesn't come out with any sauce so I have to send it back and get sauce on it. They have a little bar of sauces, cilantro, lemons, etc. so you can "customize" your food however you want. The place is pretty big too, so if you don't feel like eating at the food court upstairs full of screaming kids and strollers ramming into your knees, with a hundred other people around you, Miguel's feels more normal and somewhat restaurant-like. read more

I haven't been to this location in months, as my last few visits left a lot to be desired. But I saw a new blue shirt (manager I think) through the window as I was walking by, so I took my chances. This location has improved in the cleanliness in appearance (in the dining area and bathrooms) since my last visit. I was also so impressed by the attentiveness of the new manager. For Mexican fast food, this is my kids' favorite! They like the Miguel's Original Burrito with shredded beef. I enjoy the enchilada/taco meal. They have a variety of sauces and condiments at their salsa bar. I enjoy the carrots soaked in water and chilis. This location is ALWAYS busy. Even though, we can always find seating.
