This place has pros and cons. Pros - good food, decent pricing, nice bar, pool tables. Cons- Really slow service! I know what good service is and some of the servers are just poorly trained, or they have too many tables. I have been here 3 times and every time I had to wait 10 minutes, to just get the server to take my drink order. They visit the table rarely and it becomes a real hassle. If the service was better I would come in more often. read more

This place has seen me for the last time unfortunately. I used to frequent this restaurant weekly in high school and in the past years it has really gone downhill. We came in for lunch on Wednesday and ordered the lunch special, Monterrey chicken sandwich with fries. At first both our sandwiches came out RAW! They remade them and they were cooked fine, the manager brought them to us and did not even apologize about them being raw the first time. I came in here today to have lunch with my woman before seeing a patient I usually get the French onion soup and a salad. Today I tried something different and went with their singer mountain melt, boy was I disappointed. See picture of meal. They were just sad and pathetic. When the manager brought our meals to the table I expressed how small inside the singers world and I never seen a singer that small before and unfortunately the manager did not respond to my comment at all. I decided just to keep the meal and eat it I haven't been feeling well it was the first item of food putting in my body today and my girlfriend had order the chicken fajitas and I knew I would be able to sample off of what she did not finish. My first time at this restaurant and absolutely loved it. The staff is very friendly, it is clean and most of all the food is amazing. We ordered the pot stickers and chicken fingers topped off with a slice of ice cream cake. OMG. This place is a winner. Kudos to the manager, Chuck Kincade. The last few times we were at Boca Ale, it was only fair... but last night topped the cake. Our servers name was Kitty, and a table of six. between the ages of 50-90, she's calling each diner "lovie" deary", it was quite obnoxious. The food was horrendous, so much so, my husband is home from work sick today. He had the zinger flat bread, the flatbread didn't even look cooked, it had just chicken on it, nothing else. I had the chicken philly, which I couldn't even eat, it was disgusting. I will never go back again. My parents had the ribs/wing plate, the ribs were so fatty they were congealed in fat. To be honest, the reason why this place is my favorite sports bar is because I'm sentimental. I come here every year when I visit my grandmother in Florida but I think it's a genuinely good place to eat also. I've never been disappointed with the food and I like the vibe of the restaurant. Boca Ale House, you bring me back to the divey, drink special ridden bars of my college days. Seriously, they have this amazing book of random, specific drink specials that can't help but win you over. $5 buckets of miller beers, free drinks for ladies on weds, etc etc... three of us sat there watching the local wildlife for a few hours and spent 20 bucks. A liiiittle different than the "dive bars" in DC, where a PBR costs you 4 dollars. Um the people here are amazing and hilarious. Go here and watch people get down to the DJ because it will make your night. There was one group of college age kids who were performing entire step routines around the pool table, only taking a break to chow down on a huge plate of nachos (which smelled really good!). Me and my family have been to boca ale house a few times we seem to always have a problem but this is the last time I will never go back We ordered a few things it took over 30 min to get our food . The Oso Buco was terrible it was ice cold in middle the Broccoli was not cooked and the gravy tasted very old. Chicken nachos for 11 bucks were pathetic (they used to be the real deal before Ale House went corporate). Good spot for a beer and a hamburger, particularly when you are in the area following a round of golf at Southwinds. The Ale house is a typical sports bar where you will be surrounded by countless flat panel TV screens... you can be served either at the bar or preferably in a large comfortable booth....there are also high top tables. The staff has always been polite and efficient. My waiter, Noah,was very pleasant & on the ball. The menu has the typical sports bar fare: chicken wings, ribs,shrimp, onion soup, flat breads, various steaks and many other items which will make your Crestor or Lipitor work overtime. As would be expected there is a wde choice of draft ales & beers.There are also daily specials including a reasonably priced 1 1/4pound lobster on a Wednesday night for $16.95. I used to enjoy their hard shell clams in a broth which are no longer on the menu . There's nothing bad to say about the Boca Ale House but then again.... there's nothing special that makes it stand out from the endless array of other sports bars in Florida. I find Duffy's a bit better and the Big Bear in Coral Springs much better... then again if I am in the area there's nothing that would prevent me from walking into the Boca Ale House for a quick lunch snack. What I'm really saying is that the Boca Ale House is not a destination restaurant which would be true for most sports bars... Perhaps you can best rate them by how far you would be willing to travel in order to dine there... I give the Boca Ale House a 2 to 3 mile rating while I would give the Big Bear in Coral Springs perhaps a 7-10-mile rating.... Duffy's gets approximately 4-5 miles. I also almost subtracted a star from the Ale House for a poorly washed coffee mug. Since this was a one time event I let it be this time. read more

Miami Heat game on the tube and hunger pangs too. Those two equal a need for quick seating, tv channel selection, tasty eats, and quick and excellent service. Happy to say I got all of these at MIller's in Boca on Glades Road. The fried calamari more than did the job; not to mention my double fisted drinks of club soda and diet coke (don't drink alcohol). Ive been here several times. Each time was to get a beer and some zingers. My first few times mid 2014, they had this same hostess that was the rudest thing ever. Seriously, I had nightmares of this little girl. Server made the experience a bit better and of course the zingers. Tried giving this place a couple more tries as far as service goes, but after the last time, Id rather take the extra drive to the one off Yamato. My boyfriend and I decided to sit at the bar our last visit. The bartender was getting flooded by her almost full bar. We were a party of six (3 couples) on a Tuesday night. We were seated in a booth and the bench is very hard and uncomfortable. Special of the night is 35 fried shrimp (saving $1) that my husband ordered and pronounced excellent. I had chicken wings (not fried). They are my favorite and they came out hot and fresh and were very good. One gentleman had the osso buco which was large and tender. Another had fish and chips and he is from England and pronounced them very good. Now the bad. We waited one hour for our entrees and we had arrived at 6:00. Kitchen slow we were told. The two women had salmon. Totally inedible. Like a thin board. Sent back and I shared my wings with one and the other got extra vegetable. They took the fish off the bill.
