The food and service was not good. The person helping us out was extremely rude as well.

This place has really gone down hill since the new owners took over. The food use to be amazing but now it's crap. They can't get the food right. It also lacks flavor. The bathroom alone tells you how lazy the employees are. They can't even put soap in the dispenser or toilet paper in the bathroom. Instead they have a big jug of soap. If you get lucky and there happens to be toilet paper. It's sitting on the rail instead. Use to love this place. Have given the new owners a chance twice. I've been wanting to try this place for awhile, I finally had a day off where I could go have breakfast I drive up and the place is completely empty which is not a good sign usually I won't walk into an empty restaurant. I walked in was greeted, was told to sit anywhere so I took a seat and waited after about 6 minutes of no acknowledgment in an empty restaurant. I got up told the lady at the counter thank you but no thank you she says I thought you were being waited on I said no, she said no we'll come back come back I said no I'm good. I came here this morning with my husband and we were greeted right away and told to sit wherever we like! They expanded so the place feels very roomy and has a clean aesthetic. They have music playing at the right volume and great taste as well. We've tried quite a bit of menu items are so far love everything! Everything is fresh and delicious , my two favorites (currently) are the Fred's breakfast sandwich and the breakfast burrito! And the staff are so friendly and attentive, makes you feel so welcome! First time here for breakfast. I had corned beef hash, boy it was SALTY. My son had a steak breakfast, not to die for either. It's a little pricey for what I had, not worth $9+. I'd rather pay that price at Denny's. The ladies are nice. 5 stars for their hard work. Then again, I'm not there to rate them. I'm there for the food and it was disappointing. Read a lot of positive reviews so I thought we'd try it out for the first time. Food is decent. Atmosphere seems great, but service is terrible. I felt like I had whiplash. Our server was rude one minute, nice the next. She said things like, "I've got 3 customers ahead of you" (before she would take our order), "Have you decided? I've got other people waiting.", "I've only got two hands" (when asked about a side dish that was ordered). Unbelievable. Me and my boyfriend were just passing through the area and found this place from yelp. Overall the food was really good so im glad we stumbled upon it. It is ran by two older ladies who clearly know what their doing. However one of the owners was a little sassy and grumpy at times, however all the other people were super nice and the food was great pricing is reasonable for what your getting. Waited for over an hour as people come in and take tables despite their being a list... the ladies are so overwhelmed they can't keep track of a simple wait list.. I watched 4 different parties get sat in front of me that waited half the time.. yes they waited along time too but I was ahead of them..but I didn't complain enough or muscle myself my own table like the 3 gentle man up front did... i guess if you don't muscle your way in or stand at the counter like a sad puppy then you just have to wait longer than everyone else that has poop for manners or happens to be friends or a regular that is more of a regular ... Trudy is amazing and I hope you understand why I won't be coming back ... you need to get you girls to treat everyone equally..because passing 3 people over for 4 people just because we didn't have 4 people for a 4 person table was her justification... I double checked the list and my name was the second name and the one above had just been sat. My Mom ordered the Patty Melt with French Fries. She enjoyed it and the Fries were good but not amazing. We shared a stack of the pancakes. They were yummy and tasted more homemade than restaurant style. They were fluffy but not my style. I ordered the bacon, eggs, hash brown, and toast plate. The eggs were delish! In my opinion my Dad makes the worlds most amazing eggs but Miller's definitely gave him a run for his money. To drink we both had coffee and loved it! The price point was just right all that food plus tip was less than $30. Sidebar: The location is fairly small and located in the same strip as togo's and cheap cigarettes express. This place may be little in size but packs a powerful punch in flavor. I've been her twice and I am just as in love as I was the first time I came. Trudy and Kim are awesome! Today Trudy was our server and she was so sweet and caring I felt home! The bacon is always cooked to perfection not overly crispy and not under done! My eggs always taste yummy and those home fries are better than mine and I get down in the kitchen myself!! They are seasoned very well kudos to the chef! I always get a side of avocado with my meal and it's always fresh like they picked it off the tree. They make this salsa there it is the absolute BOMB!!! And they are not over priced they always have a daily special. I wish they were open all day but when your that dayum good you don't have to be ;) I will be a regular that's for sure!! read more

been here twice now and both times the food has been really good. I've ordered the French toast breakfast with sausage and scrambled eggs both times and soo good. the staff here is very nice and friendly. it's a nice little cafe where the kitchen is right in the front behind the register and you can see the lady making all the food. there's only so many tables and chairs in the place so I can see on the weekends there being a wait, we've only gone on a weekday and it's been perfect where the place is only half full and we sit right down. also you get to seat yourself. I've read a lot of reviews saying the pancakes are amazing here. so that's what I'm getting next time for sure. It's going to be hard not getting the French toast tho, cause it's just so tasty. I'll probably end up getting both.. lol read more

Finally giving this place a review. Had mixed feelings about this place, but after ordering today and receiving rude service my mind is made up. Eating at the restaurant was an O.K. experience. Was a fairly long wait for breakfast. Restaurant is small but packed in the morning with people waiting for tables. So I figured maybe order to go for next time. Ordering to go was below average the lady answering the phones made me feel like I shouldn't be ordering. Her response was it's gonna take a really long time, we have a full house, how many orders do you have, call back in 30 mins. I responded well if I call back in 30 mins is that gonna help or am I going to wait 30 more mins then. I only have 2 orders!!!!! She then responded hold on let me ask..... Returns saying ok let me take your order. First time this happining is ok I let it slide. I figured they are busy. But no excuses for rudeness. A month later I order again to go, same lady answers with rude response, when I ask if I could place an order to go. First thing she says.....How many orders? we are a full house? Call back? We are really busy! But again, she let me order, then said 30 min wait. To me 30 mins is not a wait. I dont see why the rudeness if in the end they still take your order and you are a paying customer. If they dont want, to go orders then why not say so! In the end I dont know if I will ever order again with them. I live so close by and the convinance of this place was perfect but for now I will take my money elsewhere. The food was awful.. the service was super slow..the restaurant was super hot.. im not a fan of chain places but i would of rather of gone to black bear or even ihop. The lady named trudy serves my cousin and i and she was sweet as hell!!! I left a tip but the food was very sub par.. very bland.. needed more flavor and the cooks were slow moving as well.
