Food was decent - I ordered French toast, bacon, scrambled eggs lightly and a side of hash brown. My favorite was the hash brown & French toast was delicious too. It just remind me of a Denny's just on a smaller scale. The service was cool very friendly... seemed like a lot of returned customers were there. I have been here twice and have placed a to-go order. It is a small place so the wait can be long depending on when you go. The first time we went the wait wasn't bad and the food was ok, but the waitress was so unfriendly. She made us feel like we were bothering her, like she wasn't supposed to have our table but served us anyways. We saw her be extremely friendly to other patrons, maybe because they were regulars? The restaurant is very close to our home so we would have liked to become regulars but she was making it very heard. We did end up going back, to give it another shot. This time the wait was a little long but we were ok waiting outside on the bench. The waitress this time was very friendly but very slow, she forgot to bring us our coffee at first, and then she never came back to refill it. It's a small place so we could see her and we did ask if we could get a refill but she never came back for that, and when she gave us the bill she remembered and asked if we wanted a refill at that time. We declined because we just wanted to leave. The food was much better this time. This last time, we decided to make an order to go. It was hard to communicate with the lady on the phone because the background noise was so loud. I placed my order and she said it would be 35 mins. I left my house after 40 mins and I live about 5 mins away, so I thought that would be plenty of time. When I arrived there it was barely started. She laughed as she apologized and said "well as you can see we are busy." I said well that's why I called it in so I didn't have to wait. She said she could have the food ready in 10 mins. I said ok, because we were really wanting a regular breakfast, rather than fast food. I paid and waited outside. 15 mins later I went back inside and asked if my food was ready, and the lady said "yes, here it is" and gave me the food. She didn't even let me know it was done!!! I was so irritated and disappointed. So many people seem to like this place and I wanted to like it but the lack of friendly service and the mediocre food makes me not want to go back. read more

They have good service but no FLAVOR. I don't know how you make a biscuit thick, gummy and dry at the same time, but they did it. Yes it comes with bacon gravy that is lacking body , lacking form, lacking flavor just lacking. If you like coffee don't order it. I don't know about the other meals and I won't because I won't be going back. Over easy eggs should have creamy running yoke with cooked whites. Simple but not possible there. I was lucky enough to notice this cute and clean restaurant on my lunch break one day. I had a burger with the potato salad and was immediately hooked. THE SERVICE IS SO RUDE. The waitress insisted I go first since I was a girl, even though I didn't know what I wanted. Then she was rude to me because I asked what the country potatoes were inside and just pointed to a picture on the menu. I ended up getting the special of the day which is the country fried steak and it was Bland/unseasoned, including the gravy, the eggs were not cooked properly and the toast came out cold. Who serves cold toast? it gets two stars because the hash browns were good, the parking was accessible, and it was cheap. Which is good considering I only ate half of it. read more

The food is mediocre for how much they charge. For some reason it's always lukewarm when we get it too despite getting it immediately when it comes up. If you modify your order like "no cheese" you still get cheese. They can handle chicken strips, but that's about it. I've gotten 5 different things and each time I'm disappointed. read more

This place knows my family and is very personal. It's like your mother or family cooks breakfast for you. They make the experiance a comfortable and warming visit. They treat you like family. One star and I will explain why. I tried them earlier this week and the service was great food came quite quickly although it wasn't busy. Fast forward to today, waited 40 minutes for our food when it came, only one plate showed up. After, only a part of our breakfasts came with half of our bacon. Now the bacon was undercooked and I was asked if it was okay. Why ask when you know it was undercooked, especially when it was for kids as well. Had breakfast here for the first time and will definitely be back. My husband & I both ordered the Ham steak and eggs which included hash browns and toast. The ham steak was the best. I often order ham for breakfast & usually get the typical piece of meat that tastes like pressed meat. This was a large slice of ham that was cooked perfectly. The wait was worth it (took about 15 minutes on a busy Sunday morning). The food was good and the service was even better. This place really gives you a sense of community. While my husband and I ate we noticed an older couple at the table across from us. The gentleman began bussing tables when he noticed a lot of patrons finished their meals at the same time and the staff were quite busy. I ordered the chicken fried steak (something I never order) it was delicious!! The bacon gravy is something I've been craving since we ate here. I've enjoyed a lot of gravy in my lifetime, this was the first time I've had bacon gravy. As a lover of anything pork this was truly a treat.
