I've been coming here since middle school, and I still come here today. I'm a big fan of their popcorn chicken in bento style, along with the tea egg. The workers are usually very kind, and they know me, so they love having returning customers. I don't usually sit down here to eat, but the inside is nice and clean, with little decoration, but still lovely.

Tucked in a hole in a wall strip mall the parking lot is narrow and parking is tough next to the other busy Pho shop. Truly a hidden gem. The flavors are authentic and mature. Every Taiwanese dish is good. The portion sizes are fair and prices are great. One of the best popcorn chicken in the area according to my mini yelper. Highly recommended.

My parents have come here before for lunch and they really liked it. They said it was really busy at lunch and they have some good special lunch deals. We came here for dinner on a Wednesday and it was pretty empty. However, there were a few takeout orders while we ate. Place is a bit run down and they have a B grade, but the workers were all nice and friendly. I got the beef noodle soup with beef and no tendon and thick cut noodles. I would say it was one of the better beef noodle soups I have tried. Even the bok choy, which I usually don't like, tasted really good. Beef was also nice and tender and the soup had just the right amount of spiciness where it wasn't overpowering like some other restaurants. Noodles were also nice and chewy. I would also like to try some of the rice plates as they look good and look like authentic Taiwanese cuisine, but I also like this beef noodle soup so much that I might stick with it when I come back again.

So good. I absolutely love this place because it does the classic Taiwanese as well as new tastes on classics. You gotta try the tomato beef noodles with hand pulled noodles at least once in your life. The red pork belly is AMAZING so order one as an appetizer and share with your party. My sister loves the hong sau beef noodles and she is very critical. The servers are friendly and the buy one get one drinks specials are always on point. REAL watermelon juice!!

This place is located in a pretty empty plaza, next to it are a bunch of empty stores which may seem scary but hopefully it'll revive into a better place soon. The place is very small, but the staff are super friendly. They can be very motherly and if you know mandarin they are very talkative and funny. They have a few specials on their blackboard such as their buy one get one free drinks. The place is known for their noodle soup, however, I felt like getting something fried and meaty so I ordered the popcorn chicken dry noodles. I asked for no spicy and the noodles were still flavorful despite looking plain. They also have beef noodle soup, Dan Dan noodles, stinky tofu, cold dishes (I.e. pig ears), and oyster omelette. We didn't order any drinks but they were always coming around to make sure our water glasses are full. The shaved ice was HUGE, enough for more than 6 probably. The bowl was so large that they gave us a bunch of bowls to share and a bottle condensed milk to drizzle as much as we want. It wasn't busy when we came for lunch, they let us stay longer after eating so it would've been a perfect time for playing some board games. The downside is that I had trouble locking the bathroom door but it was because I didn't know what they meant by pulling the doorknob upwards. So it does lock! Bathroom is clean too. Overall, the desert was the highlight, so delicious and good thing it was sunny that day so that eating ice was just fine!

This is a Taiwanese comfort food place. Whenever we feel like having some Taiwanese food we will visit Mimi 5 Bobee. The servers and owner were very nice and friendly. I personally like their Braised Pork Chop with dry noodles. Their Beef stew noodles are really good as well. There are always 2-3 types of drink daily to buy one and get one free. Their food is pretty consistent. This current visit was good even though I was a little bit confused during the seating process.

I've been to the other location several times and always enjoyed homey food. This place looks rundown and dirty. Service was nice but ended weird. Came with a friend and had several stuff as seen in picture along with bogo free drink. Food: mediocre. stinky tofu wasn't smelly and texture was off. Noodles .. bland. Popcorn chicken, soggy and not crunchy. Fishballs probably the most appetizing Service: lady came over halfway to ask us to pay first because it'll be shift change and she wants her tips. Granted she was nice about it but it's very strange to do. Then I see her eating lunch after... said she's leaving soon bc she felt sick. ok. Won't be back.... if you want homemade rustic food, go somewhere else. It's too pricey here for such mediocre food

I really like Mimi 5 Bobee...the lunch sets are a steal (even with the price increase to $17) for the amount of food you get. I need to make my way to the beef noodle soup...I've been going through their pork chops and popcorn chicken. The ladies that work FOH are super friendly and efficient as hell. They get people in and out fast.

Nestled in a quiet plaza lies a tasty, authentic Taiwanese restaurant called Mimi 5 Bobee. They have a variety of lunch specials, my go-to are the popcorn chicken lunch bentos and dry noodles. The popcorn chicken always has a good, sizable amount and you aren't left with a bunch of small battered pieces at the end. Service is quick and super friendly, you can order both online and in person. P.S. I loved the packaging on my popcorn chicken lol. I don't know if they do it all of the time based on my older orders from here, but this was a nice surprise because it reminded me of my days walking around Taiwan. And it kept the chicken from getting soggy!

Very authentic Taiwanese restaurant! I've seen restaurants come and go but this one always here and continuously making improvements! Love their beef noodles soup with Tomatoes broth. Nice clean interior and lovely gold fish tank by the front entrance. Courteous Prompt attentive service and servings are generous and fast.

The popcorn chicken and rice was delicious. They made the chicken fresh and it was very tasty. We also got the fresh kumquat lemon green tea and Aiyu. That was yummy as well and I am really looking forward to trying more of the menu here! My wife got the Beef noodle soup. She enjoyed it. For dessert we got the shaved ice.

Stinky tofu hot pot. Comes with a bowl of rice

We came here to try the stinky tofu hot pot, and we also ordered the hakka pork belly, popcorn chicken, and pig ear. They were all delicious and it was more than enough food for us two since we had leftovers. The stinky tofu came in huge triangle chunks and I enjoyed that it wasn't sour like other ones I've had. The other meat items in the hot pot like intestine, tendon, and tripe were tender and flavorful. There wasn't much variety in the vegetables. I think it was mostly cabbage and a shitake mushroom, but it was a full pot overall. I haven't tried hakka pork belly before, so I didn't know it would have a sweet flavor. But I guess the vinegar is there to balance that out. I'd probably get that as a rice dish since it feels like more of a meal than a side. The popcorn chicken and pig ear were good, standard sides to have. I liked how homey the place felt and the servers were kind and efficient. Would definitely come back!

Absolutely TERRIBLE experience. Do not waste your time or money here…read more The moment we walked into Fu's Restaurant, it felt like stepping into a sauna. It was 79 degrees inside, muggy, humid, and completely uncomfortable. We almost turned around and left immediately. The place was practically empty, which honestly should have been our first red flag. We decided to give them a chance anyway. Big mistake. My colleague and I were offered water or hot tea. We both ordered hot tea. The menu clearly says in English that hot tea is $2.99. Nowhere does it clearly explain in English that you will be charged differently depending on how many people drink it. When the bill came, we were charged $5 each. Apparently, there is some clarification written in Chinese, but how are customers who do not read Chinese supposed to know that? That is completely misleading. The tea portions were not larger, not special, nothing different. Just basic tea. The pricing felt deceptive. We also ordered popcorn chicken and chili wonton soup. Both came out in tiny portions that looked like appetizers, yet the menu does not clearly label them as such. For what we received, paying over $30 total felt ridiculous. The food itself was mediocre at best. Nothing memorable and definitely not worth the price. Because of the uncomfortable temperature, confusing pricing, small portions, and average food, we chose not to leave a tip. As we were walking out, the waiter chased us outside and pressured us about the zero tip. That is completely inappropriate. Tipping is not mandatory. It is earned. Confronting customers outside over a tip is unprofessional and embarrassing. Between the heat, the questionable menu pricing, the small portions, and being confronted outside, this was one of the worst dining experiences I have had in a long time. We will never be back. There are plenty of better places within the same plaza than to dine here. I don't expect this place to last long anyway.
