Came to this location for lunch w/GF. The restaurant is in a small mini-mall in a pretty shady area. We went inside and the place is pretty small. It started getting better once the food started coming out. We ordered the tofu soup, seafood pancake and grilled mackeral. Everything tasted delicious. Prices were fair. There were a lot of side dishes. The only thing bad is the location and the speed of service(they never came around after delivering the food until it was check time). This spot is a great place if you are craving some pretty good home-made Korean food. I would recommend the beef or pork with kimchi-jeem the price is a lot cheaper than the restaurants in Koreatown in Los Angeles and the size is a decent portion for two people. Their soups are also great but I didn't think their noodle dishes were that great so I don't recommend those. The restaurant is pretty small so you may have to wait if you go during dinner rush hours. Parking is in the back and make sure it is not in one of those 15-min parkings because apparently you can get your car towed. read more

This is by far the best tasting Korean food. We oredered mackeral kimchee hot pot. It came with daily made side dishes. The restaurant was busy even though it was Sunday afternoon. Came on thursday with my gf, place is small but looks very clean and nice. Drawings on the walls was beautiful, looks very unique. Now on to the foods, they specialize in korean ssam bbab, so we decided to get steam prok with napa. Food came out pretty quickly. Steamed pork ssam bbab was amazing, meat was very moist and side dish that comes with ssam bbab was also very delicious. I will be back soon to try other menu! This place used to be noodle house before, but when I came back yesterday it was a new restaurant with new ownership. They have the noodles with new additional menus added to it. When I asked they said their main dish was ssam bab, so we go ahead and ordered ssam bab with spicypork. First came the side dish there was total 8 side dish and all delicious, not too salty n fresh. After few minutes main dish ssam bab came out with bean paste and lots n lots of vegetables that goes with the spicypork. Meat was nicely marinated and tasty n it also comes with side of bean paste soup which goes great with ssam bab. Overall experience everything was very delicious and fresh n they don't cheap out on the fresh vegetables n that was plus 1 for us. I went with my Fiance a couple days ago and I was very happy to find this new restaurant! The place isnt too big - about 6-7 tables, but the food is amazing!! This is now my favorite place for Pork Rib Stew with Kimchi. you get a HUGE bowl of it. the broth is clear and flavorful. You get a large piece of Pork meat that's tender and juicy. Their restaurant is very compact. There is also a lot of flies because they keep their doors opened. Side dishes are delicious. Those take a lot of work and on point. Al tang was okay. The soup base was not rich or thick. It was spicy and delicious but wished the soup was better. Bossam was delicious. Meet was tender and soft. The meat combo was awesome too. The marinated beef was marinated perfectly and was very flavorful. I wish they gave more veggies tho... Or put it in a small plate because it looked weird. Service is slow... I wish I lived closer so I could frequent this establishment. Their sujebi and kalguksu is the best I gave had in the OC area. It isn't too fishy like the other places and does not leave a bad taste in my mouth. Their food tastes clean which means they do not load up on msg or other flavor enhancers. I loved their dolsot namul bibimbap. My aunt invented that dish in Korea and I have not seen a place that makes it (in the US) so I was excited when I saw it on their menu. Nothing is overly salty and service is great. I do wish they had more tables though! Seriously, everything on the menu tastes great. Sujebi and Kalguksu is exactly the same thing except the noodles. ME and my family used to go this place very often because we loved their food, but today we are extremely DISAPPOINTED...There is outside-sitting area with tent (right front of the entrance) also dine-in as well, some Korean elders were sitting outside and they were SMOKING in side the tent. saturday night date night happened right here at mindeulle aka dandelion in english. the restaurant was poppin. it's also incredibly small, so if you come at peak dinner hours, you'll have to wait. the only reason i give it 4 is because even though there were 2 tables that could seat 2 people parties, they just used it as space to put things rather than seat people. they only finally sat us when someone asked why they weren't using those tables. once we go to our seats however is when the goodness happened. boyfriend ordered the spicy bulgogi ssam bab. this comes with a variety of greens, bulgogi and bean paste soup. SHIT WAS BOMB. i've never seen the bf devour his dinner like that. the only couple times he came up for air was to tell me how it was the best korean food he's had in OC. i ordered the grilled mackerel. although tasty as well, did not compare to ssam bab. we enjoyed it so much we want to go again the next day, but they were closed :( we are now saving it for our week night pick me up. which mean's we'll probably go again tonight... :X read more

Had dinner here for the first time last week right before heading to LAX to drop my KOREAN parents off at the airport to send them off to KOREA. I'm Korean haha Anyway, since then I've been here twice. So, that means I've been here three times this month. Why? Because everything tastes exactly like my excellent cook mother makes it. The kimchi stew, the bean paste stew, the spicy pork bulgogi.. It's like she never left! I will say though that they need to get their water to rice ratio right because the rice is always mushy, but the rest of the food makes up for it. I always try to come around 5 or 5:30 because this place is tiny and you will most likely wait. I've been lucky to come early enough that I didn't have to, and the food comes out very quickly too! read more

We found this restaurant from an OC Register article on the latest Korean cafes popping up in the Buena Park area. The Ssam Bop (wraps) came with a wide variety of greens including dandelion leaves, perilla leaves, cucumbers, red leaf lettuce, etc. The interior was a small but clean and tidy. I not sure I would order from here again. We ordered a Noodle Soup with Perilla Seed () and Seafood Pancakes (). The seafood pancakes were fine but the other dish... We ordered noodle soup but got hand pulled dough soup () on accident and the soup itself was not flavored AT ALL. If I wanted to cook, I would've made it myself but I had to flavor the soup and prepare it all over. I find it ridiculous that they got our order wrong considering there were only 2 tables dining in (I ordered to-go). If they were packed and busy I would understand but that was clearly not the case for them today. read more
