I was told this is the ONLY place in ABQ that brings out the carts for dim sum. If this is incorrect, please message me! I. Miss. DIM SUM! We would get Dim Sum in Flushing, NY and I have nothing but great memories from it. So! When I found out this spot brings out the carts for Dim Sum - I ran over! We went for Saturday brunch and it was empty. I ordered for the table. The chicken feet really stood out to me and were delicious. I will say...they advertise it is homemade...but I'm not too sure. The soup dumplings definitely had a precooked frozen packaged texture / flavor - similar the ones you can get from the grocery store. BUT! Overall: we had a fantastic experience. The family was very friendly. I think they were surprised how much I ordered. I was excited and happy. And yes, we finished it all lol If you've never had Dim Sum then you MUST come here for the experience alone. They bring out the carts and you pick what you'd like. This is a great way to spend BRUNCH with a large group. Forget the American brunch and try the Chinese one! It's a new experience and will be fun.

    Dimsum galore :)~

I give it a 4 stars for dimsum in ABQ, but probably 3 stars in larger cities. What I liked about it was...this was one of the traditional places where they pushed dimsum carts for you to pick what you liked (albeit smaller selection of food...since dimsum isn't so popular in ABQ). The food tasted ok..but I appreciated the kindness of the staff and their service mindedness. I really wished they had more selection of food though. For example, I was hoping their would have fried taro paste in birds nest (ok..I know..this one is really chinese), or even custard buns (this one..I was surprised they didn't have), or..even chicken feet (ok..I don't eat these anyways but hey..it's a testament to what dimsum place would look like). But otherwise, if you arelooking to take someone to try dimsum and aren't so put off by the ambience (the place is quite unassuming..but was fine to me), this id probably a more authentic dimsum place in ABQ to me (granted the sign on the street was a Lil too much of an acclamation of NM's state of dimsum)!

Mixed Won Ton Soup without egg noodles. Wonderful!

I either get Dim Sum or Won Ton soup when I visit. The food is always excellent and consistent. Best Dim Sum in town. Great BBQ pork in the soup. I always get outstanding service--very courteous and fast. I highly recommend Ming Dynasty.

Our last (most recent) trip into the city had me craving Chinese food. In the list, I saw that Ming Dynasty served Dim Sum (steamed rolls) and something that I had never tasted before. The really helpful and patient server helped me choose the BBQ pork option. We received three large buns and they tasted so sweet and delicious that I highly recommend them. For dinner, he recommended the orange chicken, and hubby and I really enjoyed it. I took home leftovers to enjoy that night but I really appreciate the value received for the price. Ambiance wise, we couldn't stop staring at the detailed intricate ceiling tiles and potential use of the large dining room which was only partially in use when we arrived.

Food is bad. No flavor at all. Not worth the price at all Don't waste your money. Try prioritizing the flavor in your food instead of making the menu so big.

Came in to try the Dim Sum with my husband for a little date without the kids. It was SO GOOD! I love that it is an actual Dim Sum restaurant with the price structure to actually be able to try a plethora of dishes. I really loved the ginger beef dumplings and the chinese broccoli. My husband's favorite was the spear ribs and the shrimp shumai. We WILL DEFINITELY be back. Also it has that small family business feel that I love. Casual for any occasion and the staff were very nice.

Great! I started off my meal with Vietnamese coffee. It was iced and really delicious. My partner got the Roy Rogers drink. We were seated right away and given plates for appetizers. We started our food with pork and shrimp and scallop dim sun. It was really good to pair with their in house chile oil. The Chile oil was one of my favorite part of the entire meal. I got the Pepper Steak combination plate and would highly recommend it. The service was quick and kind. The environment was clean. The food came out in appropriate and quick timing.

Best dim sum place I've tried. Went around 1130 and parking wasn't an issue and there was seating. Attentive staff so great service good vibes

The restaurant is located in a strip mall with great signage. The inside is well spaced with plenty of table and an area where you can watch them make the dumplings. It was cool to watch our dumplings being made (I asked if I could take the pictures). There is an art to making noodles and dumplings and they know here. We ordered a chicken noodle soups, Sichuan Dan Dan noodles, soup dumpling. The Sichuan Dan Dan noodles were very spicy, but a real chili flavoring to the spice, not just heat. The noodles were fresh and not too soft. The chicken soup was excellent and when I added the chili oil, it was excellent! The soup dumplings were so delicious, not too think, filled well, and very tasty. This is a real gem of a place with authentic noodles and dumplings with excellent, friendly service. If we pass through again we will make it a point to stop in for a Tasty dinner! Thank you!!

The wait staff was nice to give us another one cuz we sent it back, but it came back again with the same smell so we were worried but it tasted fine and we didn't get sick hahahaha. Wouldn't order it again tho because of the smell. steam chicken feet 5/5: nicely steamed with a spicy kick. steamed egg yolk bun 4/5: this is the main reason we come here! love the topping on the bun and the flavors of the steamed egg yolk. The owner is a very nice lady who seems very friendly personable with her customers. As customers walked in she remembered their food preferences , other customers here also seemed like regulars and were suggesting things on the menu. The owner was patient, friendly and stood there the whole time helping me choose and navigate the menu since it was my first time here. That by itself is worth an extra Star . I orders the combination plate and she allowed me to make some substitutions. I got general Taos chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and low mein with vegetables. There was also a soup that came for free I think it's egg drop soup with some crunchies. The general tsoas chicken had a good flavor, I asked them to make everything spicy and it had a nice kick. It was really crunchy which I like but I can see alot of people thinking that it has too much batter and not enough meat. Also pretty much everything was pretty greasy when I don't mind but it's not the usual Americanized Chinese food people from other big cities outside of Albuquerque are probably used to: The low mein with vegetables was probably my favorite part. I added spicy to it too and it was great. I can see why people keep coming here; it's a mom pop business where a real traditional Chinese owner takes your order and cooks for you and the food feels authentic. There's not many options in town for Chineese food that are decent and not chains. I would come back for the low mein and support the nice lady who owns this place.
