I had a coupon for this spot and figured trying this out AMBIANCE: It's off of a supermarket plaza. So it's a great place to grab food before or after grocery shopping. Parking shouldn't be an issue if it's busy. It's in the nicer side of Long Beach so it's pretty well maintained. It was raining but it provided a shaded tent next to the food truck. FOOD: Mini Birreria Combo (Recommend) Indecisive like me? Get the combo - tacos, vampiro, taco dorado. Delicious and fulfilling! The tortilla was crunchy, beef was juicy seasoned and flavorful. The onions, cilantro, and cheese brought a great kick to it. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Great! It was pretty cold but their positive spirits provided warm vibes. TL; DR OVERALL: 4 Stars. Great! Reasonable price and great selections. I know Long Beach has a lot of Mexican spots but this place is pretty solid. It won't disappoint. Unless they run out of food. Till next time TIPS: * Follow them on social media for updates!

Went to CVS, saw this truck decided to grab some lunch. Gentleman who took my order was very pleasant. The prices were good, got two combo plates it was look $13 each $26 in total + tax. Not bad at all. The combo came with 2 birria tacos, 1 quesadilla, and 1 mulita. The quesadilla & mulita, FIRE birria definitely flavorful. The red sauce they gave, it was so good BUT it was also HOT HOT The taco was good, but not my favorite only because the shell was hard, almost like a tortilla chip, it broke when I squeezed it to take a bite. That was annoying. I do recommend, if you like birria because literally everything is birria.

This birria is so good. The meat is shredded and so soft which was my favorite part. I tried the tacos, mullita, quesataco, consome and loved everything. If you are in the mood for a birria taco, this place won't disappoint. The quesadilla is loaded with meat and my two years old daughter finished the whole thing. It's not as big as how you imagined a quesadilla is but it's only $4. Definitely worth it. The taco dorado is the crispy shell and loaded with meat and has no cheese. Other places, I've been too has cheese. Still good. Get the combo if you want to try a little bit of everything. First time here and I had it for lunch and dinner, before and after we visited the aquarium.

I have driven by these trucks a million times and never really paid attention. I got a craving for some birria and a quick yelp search found this truck that parks in Bixby every week. I got a quesadilla, a taco, and a mulita. Out of the three, I liked the taco the best for it's simple goodness. The comsome is also a must for dipping in, but also just to eat. It had nice chunks of meat too. They only serve birria. Well, and chips. It's slow cooked and very soft. The stew it's in in quite tastey, and the onion and cilantro totally seal the deal.

Mini Birrieria was decent to me. I ordered three of the original Birria tacos and one quesataco. The original Birria tacos were good but I wasn't wowed by the flavor. It was just enough to satisfy my craving for this type of taco. I found the truck in the Bixby Knolls neighborhood of Long Beach and the service was good. I wouldn't necessarily run back to have more but I was glad I was able to give them a try and support their business.

Using the OTM deal to upgrade my tacos to a combo so I can try all their offerings: 2 birria tacos, quesataco, tostaditas, caldo, a cup of consommé, and a can of soda. Everything was average. Although the consommé was robust in flavor, it was too oily for me. I recently discovered 2 awesome tacos places, Suazo (Anaheim), and Taco Masa (Long Beach). Both had bigger and tastier tacos than here, so I won't be back.

To say that I love this truck is an understatement. The food is impeccable to say the least. It was unexpected how we chanced upon this truck but it was truly a great surprise. Get a bit of everything by ordering their combo. You get mulitas, tacos, and quesadilla with a cup of consome and drink. All for just $11. The flavors of everything come together with added dipping in the consome, it just makes everything so much better. The meat is very tender and truly truly... really makes me speechless. I don't know what to say anymore except please, do give it a try. You won't regret it. Will definitely come here again and again. Combo Plate- really great caldo which is how it makes their food . Easy bite as the carne is more finely chopped than others. The combo came with 2 tacos, 1 mulita and a quesadilla with consumé and a sode for $13. For me, the queso added in any form of the birria, just takes it to a whole other level. The gold standard of what a birrieria should be. @minibirrieria are serving some of the best birrieria tacos in LA. Ever bite make me want more and their vampiro tostada is made out of a whole cheese disk. Which is one my recommendation. Everything ok the menus is great and is hand made by great people. read more

If you want some bomb birreria tacos in Long Beach then this is the place to go. They have a combo where you can get 2 tacos, 1 quesadilla, 1 Mikita, and a birreria soup with a drink for $13. Not a bad price considering that most places are pricier. They also give you a generous portion of the meat as well. I also got their Dorado Taco which is a hard shell type taco. Lady took my order, waited... They gave my food to someone else, so I let them know. The guy went back in to remake it, no apology no nothing. The food was finally out when they missed an item. I let the lady who took my order know, she said they will remake it.... 5 minutes pass when the guy who gave my order away asked me if I was waiting for anything.... Wow... The combo plate is bomb!! One of the best places to go for birria. I been the a hand full of times and the customer service sucks. I stood in line for 10 minutes and no one said anything to me. Another customer walked up behind me and ask if I ordered, I said No they haven't acknowledged me at all. So I walked off and haven't been back since. I have only had the birria street tacos ( I think it's what it's called ) and it is delicious , my 2nd favorite place for birria. I would have given all 5 stars except they don't give me regular consomme' ...just a small thing of some kind of hot stuff I cannot eat being the gringa that I am. But still love the food. I am probably in the minority with not being able to tolerate spice/heat in sauce or salsa. read more

Best Birria tacos and caldo around. The caldo has great flavor and a must to dip the tacos with all the fixings. Salsa they give you is spicy for my taste but so good I put lots on anyway. Wish the radishes they gave with the tacos were a little fresher, they seemed to have dried out in being precut and left out for too long (this is the first time this has happened, have eaten plenty of times and everything is so fresh). Highly recommended if you're in the area or are willing to make the drive. read more

We just happened to be there when there was a big party there too and it seemed like staff was a bit flustered. I told the workers about our order and they just forgot. We waited for over 15 min and when I went up to ask again, they realized they had forgotten about us and hadn't made our correct order so we decided to leave it and just go. Regardless of that hiccup, the staff were very friendly and they were apologetic about the situation. I would come back for sure and give it another try. The Boyle heights location has always been on top of it and I've never experienced a bad visit so I wouldn't say this location is bad off of one visit. The space is small and has inside and outside seating. We tried to eat outside but that bigger party took up a lot of the seats out there. They have a beautiful mural inside too and we luckily got a table. Overall, guisados is a must and I'm happy there's a location closer to me now.
