Pepperoni Puntura and La Bianca pizzas

Pizza and service was amazing. We sat out on the balcony and it felt like Europe. The bread and olive oil was great too.

I was down the street at the lovestruck bookstore and asked for some pizza suggestions. This place came up so we popped in. Service was great. Our server gave us suggestions of places to explore in the area and our food came fast. We said against the window and it's a very nice vibe. We came in for lunch and they had a $21 special where you get a small salad of your choice and an 8 inch pizza. We each did the lunch special and Caesar salad. We had The Spring Lamb (Lamb sausage, mozzarella, goat cheese, roasted red peppers, red onion, chili flakes, and fresh mint on a mint-basil salsa verde base-- needed more lamb sausage, you could barely see it or taste it.) and Pinocchio (Mozzarella, salami, Italian fennel sausage, pepperoni, kalamata olives, Alta Cucina tomatoes, and parsley on a freshly milled tomato base).

Haven't been here in a while. Came for lunch on a Saturday. It was busy, as soon as we got there a line formed behind us. But we were seated pretty fast. It's not the biggest place but it is super cute inside. Service was good, pizza comes out quick. I had the Spring Lamb and loved it. My friends said their pizza was delicious. As always the food is good here.

Man love this place! Definitely a must try. I usually come here for the pear and honey goat cheese, seasonal pizza. Sadly, we just missed it when we got there in December. But we were still not disappointed because we had the clams and the bread to dip with, and that was so good. The staff was really friendly and very attentive. We were there for a long time and they didn't rush us at all. Thanks guys. We'll see you again soon. !

I haven't been to this restaurant since before the pandemic. I remember it being delicious so when my group wanted to go to them again, I was all for it. The food was so good. I had the lunch special which was pizza and a salad. I ordered the Pinocchio pizza with the beet salad. I'm a newcomer to beets and I have to say this was a good salad, with feta cheese, the sauce and the nuts, lettuce, it was a good bite. Very refreshing. The service was great. Our server was so engaging and so thoughtful and patient as our group was deciding what to order. This is a great looking restaurant with the outdoor patio and the bay windows from the restaurant so even though you may be sitting inside, you get all the freshness of sitting outside so I would definitely go back to this place again.

This is the quintessential neighborhood place but better. Usually your neighborhood spot is good because its close and friendly (hopefully). But Mioposto is so cozy (without being cramped), classy-cute (without being kitschy) , and absolutely delicious. A really well curated menu of classics and signature items. A nice cocktail and wine selection and friendly service. Whenever we are visiting family in Seattle we come to this convenient (but off the beaten path) location and feel like we've slipped right back into being local again.

This is my favorite place to stop when I travel though Seattle. The eggplant veggie sandwich is life changing!!! The pizza, hash, and drinks were just perfect! The inside is cute and has a warm feel. The staff are all absolutely wonderful.

Happy hour. Beet salad, salumi finochionna, mushroom pizza. ( photo makes the salad look smaller than it is, it's as big as the pizza)

Solid place, but didn't knock my socks off. Flavors were good. Service was attentive and genuine. I think I might have hyped it up in my own mind too much before actually trying them for the first time. It took me 10 months to try this place since I moved to the area. I went for happy hour on a Saturday. I had the Mushroom hunter pizza, beet salad, salumi finochionna and an N.A. beer. $42.50 after tax, but before tip. That's for just one person...however, the salad was huge. I took half home. (my photo makes it looks smaller, but it was as big or bigger than the pizza). Add another drink and what I ordered could've fed two people. My pizza could've used some more color. .I prefer a little more char on the crust, especially a wood fired pizza. However, my 8" happy hour pizza was closer to 11" inches? So maybe I shouldn't be picky. It was a lot of food. Admittedly, I still get sticker shock from food prices in the Seattle area. So this tends to affect my opinion. I honestly don't know if I could afford to eat here if it wasn't happy hour. And even at happy hour prices...$50 with tip is a lot to spend on myself. $50 can buy a lot of dim sum. oh yeah, almost forgot. The rattan barstool thing I was seated on looks like it SHOULD be comfortable, but it was somewhere between uncomfortable and torture after about 15 minutes. Atmosphere was surpisingly loud between the music and conversation of other guests. But kudos for the Gen-X playlist (Depeche Mode, The Cars, Men at Work...).

I've been to Mioposto more times than I can count and always have a lovely time so I figured it was time to leave a review! Staff at this location are so kind and attentive and remember you after only a couple visits. It's just a very welcoming and warm atmosphere which adds to my experience every time. Ambience is cozy and comfortable, both when it's on the quieter side and when it's packed. I love coming here in the winter and when it's colder because of how cozy it is but it's also great in the warmer months! Food and drinks! They have an amazing happy hour which I would highly recommend, it's nice to order a bunch of things and share. Some personal favorites: the ceci, the bread (very good with the clams, which I'm not normally a fan of!), the pinocchio, pepperoni pintura, the spring lamb, the garnet salad, and the apple crostata. The seasonal drinks they currently have on the menu are INCREDIBLE, the backcountry flu shot was my personal favorite of the night.

    Melanzane**

Lovely neighborhood pizza joint with a community feel. We sat at the larger bench and shared with another family. Food was great and had fun conversation with friends and strangers. The Melanzane- roasted Eggplant with fresh mozzarella, fresh arugula, basil mint pesto drizzle was very refreshing. A great vegan dish to share and start a meal. The Fig and Prosciutto pizza was one of the best pizza I have had. Combination of the sweet fig and salty prosciutto strike a perfect balance with a hint of sourness from the balsamic glaze. The crust was light and crunchy yet bready. I top it with the arugula from the melanzane, it was the perfect slice of pizza. We would be back for sure as the wait will be worthwhile.

It was busy Friday night. I ordered meat ball sandwich. It was okay. I have been meatball. Burrata, seasonal, this was good. Roast peach was sweet. Music was very loud, it felt like we were at a club. My friend ordered lamp pizza, she likes to it and not game. I would still with ordering pizza.

    Spritz mocktail
    Riah R.

Had a perfectly executed mocktail this evening-- the lemon spritz. It was a perfect cold January evening to pop up to the bar for a HH salad and a drink while perusing a magazine. Soft lighting, away from the kids, and friendly staff and other customers made for a delightful escape.

Tucked down the alley by the gum wall, it's a great option for wood fired pizzas. The space is fairly small and very low-lit, but thriving with energy. Our service was fantastic, drinks were good, but besides the pizza the food was pretty hit or miss. We had a table of 4 and we kept the table full the entire time. We started off with a salad, spicy mac n cheese, cheese sticks, and Brie and cheese. Salad was light and refreshing. The cheese sticks were pretty normal, but also good. The spicy mac n cheese to me had zero spice. Just some mac in a cast iron pan. The apple and Brie had a nice presentation but the smallest amount of Brie possible(my picture was too blurry to post). The Broccolini I am not sure how it was defined as broccolini because the 5 pieces that came on the plate were huge. While packed with flavors of lemon and Parmesan they had a very tree like feel and were a bit on the harder side. The El Diablo pizza, to be straight forward was by far the best part of the stop. The crust could have been a little more well done, but that's just me splitting hairs. I ate more of that than anyone else. Probably could have finished it myself if I hadn't stopped for a lobster roll beforehand. Either way, great service, good drinks and legit pizzas!

If that line is intimidating or wet (think rain!) then duck inside to Pizza and Pasta Bar for a delicious meal. While there we met the owners Bruno and Goli who were helping out behind the counter. They are the nicest people ever! So friendly and accommodating and always smiling. Their pride in their restaurant really shows in their care of the food and customers. I had the infamous meatball sandwich and my wife had the chicken carbonara. They gave us each a slice of their pizza for free as they had a bit extra from one that just came out of the oven. The food was prepared in front of you which is always interesting to watch and the charming brick pizza oven was directly in front of us so we could watch that process as well. Pretty cool. There are a wide variety of pizzas and pastas, desserts and drinks (alcohol too!) available on the menu. We ate at at the bar and had a wonderful conversation with the owners as they bustled about in the open cooking area. I enjoyed my meatball sandwich which had great crunchy crusty bread that held in the contents of melted cheese, red sauce and meatballs. A great choice to get when there. My wife liked her chicken carbonara and as the portion was pretty large, we were able to take some home for later. Extra yummy for me (ha ha)! The complimentary pizza slices were a hit for us as well. Napoli style with thin crust and flavorful toppings. We found out that Goli created the restaurant's design with the face of a woman that looks a lot like Venus in "The Birth of Venus" painting by Botticelli in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence Italy (just sayin'). In a medium nonstick pan, large tong full of wet noodles, one ladle of white sauce, toss them together. Boiled chicken pieces, BOILED chicken tossed into the pan. No seasoning or shredded cheese, or Italian seasoning. Served in a plastic to go container that cost 1.85 extra bc it was to go since they wouldn't allow us to sit w outside food. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!

I got a slice of Italian supreme, which has everything. Now looking back though I wish I had gotten one of their Turkish dishes as I would have liked to try their lahmacun and read another Yelpers review and this place is supposed to have the best Turkish lahmacun in the US. Oh well, I guess I will be back! The woman heated up my slice and after a few minutes, it was ready. I took my slice and went to sit outside near Pioneer Square so I could be outside and people watch. Pizza was tasty and solid, but the crust was too dry. I have a feeling the slice wasnt the most fresh, so thats why the crust was a bit dry. But, if you know me, I do jot like soggy pizza (I mean - who does??), so a bit drier isn't too big an issue. The rest of the slice was good. Slice of pizza and a diet coke came to close to $9. Gosh things are so expensive now. They do have a special of 2 slices for $8.99 but I couldnt eat two slices. Unfortunately, the experience is consistently dampened by one of weekend bartenders. As others have mentioned, it's that taller bartender (Alex?) who repeatedly comes across as arrogant and dismissive to us; a less than desirable character trait for a bartender. It's such a pity because that is the sole reason we now lead our groups to spend their money and patronize other establishments instead. Recently we did give Diller another try, but sadly it's the same story and thus this feedback. Hospitality makes a HUGE difference. Bartending isn't just about making a good drink and expecting tips. As someone who tended bar all over Seattle for 23 years, I know how much energy and attitude shape a guest's night. When the service feels cold and passive-aggressively rude, it's hard to feel good about the experience. It's disappointing, because this place has so much potential. Hopefully management considers bringing in weekend staff whose personalities reflect the warmth and atmosphere the space deserves, there are plenty of more qualified bartenders in Seattle that would gladly fill their spot.
