After reading reviews, I decided to check this place out but knew I had to arrive early. When I parked and got in line around 4:20pm, there were already about 50 people ahead of me in line. Minutes after securing my spot in line, tons of people began to show up so I was so glad I got there when I did. I waited, waited and waited for 5pm to roll around as that is when they were supposed to open, but for some reason they did not start allowing people in until roughly 5:15-5:20 so that was slightly annoying but I knew I had to pack my patience with this place. Finally around 5:30 I get to the door and my family and I were literally the LAST people they allowed in. Every single table was full! I couldn't believe it and I was so excited we made it and did not have to wait any longer. Now for the experience inside: It truly does look like Christmas threw up in this place. Presents and lights hanging from the ceiling and Christmas music to really top things off. The service was mediocre and that's being nice, honestly. There were 5 people in my group so we all decided to order a different drink so we could try them. Honestly, the drinks were not very good and over priced (but that's to be expected) It was fun to try the drinks to say you tried them, but if I go back in the future I will most likely just order a beer. Overall it was a fun experience. Definitely something different and I do recommend checking this place out. Get there early and just have patience! read more

This pop-up bar definitely got me in the holiday spirit with all of its fun decorations, but I was a bit disappointed in the quality of the drinks. Miracle on Monroe is located in the Tapa-Tapa space next to the Midtown Art Cinema. There is always some parking available in the huge lot beside the building. You may not be able to park right in front of the bar, but you will be able to park! As others have mentioned, be prepared to wait quite a long time to be sat at Miracle on Monroe. My party of four got there at 4:45pm and as expected, there was a huge line. The groups at the very front of the line said they had been there since 4pm. I was okay with the idea of just putting our name down on the list and waiting an hour or so, but what made me enraged was that it took them 40 minutes to even do the first round of seating. So we stood in line for an hour just to write our name down. We were #3 in line for the waitlist, and they anticipated about an hour wait. They use an app so you can just give them your number and they will text you when the table is ready. On your phone you can open a link and track the wait...but it can be fairly frustrating when it counts down to "0 minutes" left of your wait but a table still isn't ready. However, since they have your number and you have 15 minutes to claim your table once they text you, you have the freedom to grab some drinks/food at one of the other restaurants in the complex as you wait. Once you walk into the bar, you understand why there is so my hype around it. The decor is straight out of a 90s Christmas movie. The ceiling has lights, ornaments, stuffed animals, and even a dreidel hanging from the ceiling. The main lights are on a low setting so you can really embrace the different colored lights hanging around. All of the tables are covered in wrapping paper which adds a special touch. Even the bathrooms were festive; the doors are decorated like presents and they have some candles in the bathroom to make it smell like a Christmas tree. Our server was extremely friendly and very efficient despite the hectic atmosphere. We were able to order our drinks right away, which helped make up for the long wait to even get in. Since we ate while waiting for the table, we didn't order any of the tapas-style food, but we did order the Christmas cookie tray. I was expecting some homemade cookies, but what we received tasted and looked like it was straight out of a box from the grocery store. We got about 8 tiny gingerbread men and 8 chocolate-covered stars cookies with a side of sprinkles and icing. I will admit that the sprinkles and icing on the side were a fun touch, but I was very disappointed in the cookies in general. For drinks, they serve some wine/beer but the real fun is the holiday themed cocktails. They are all $12, which makes it super simple to split the bill amongst a group of people evenly. Out of the three drinks we tried, the "Christmaspolitan" was definitely the best. It is a vodka-based drink with elderflower liquor and cranberry juice added, so it is a tad sweet but overall a really nicely balanced drink. We also tried the "Run Run Rudolph", which essentially is an iced hot chocolate with tequila and coffee liquor. The tequila was a tad overpowering, but I really liked the concept of the drink. The most disappointing drink we had was the "Jingle Bell Nog". I really love eggnog, so i was hoping for something delicious. Instead, this drink was a horrible atrocity...the cognac was way too strong and did not blend well with the almond milk base. I had to chase the drink down with cookies to be able to drink it. Overall, I'd say this is a really fun bar to experience to help get you in the Christmas spirit. Definitely be ready to wait, but just settle down at another restaurant to wait it out and it's worth it! Just dear lord do not get the Jingle Bell Nog.... read more

My fiancé and I come to Miracle on Monroe every year and always have a great time. The wait is long, yes, but it's worth it. This year though, the woman working the door was so incredibly rude that we left and decided to not come back. It was just us and she told us the wait would be 2 hours, for a table for two at 6 pm. I made a shocked face and she rolled her eyes at me and said well we're kinda busy. She then shouted at my fiancé to never stand near the doors and not look inside. This place isn't that exclusive and it's not the only Christmas bar in town. I would NOT recommend going here if you want good customer service. read more

WORST SERVICE I'VE EVER HAD. My friends and I waited an hour and a half for a table... and got put in a corner by the supply closet that didn't have enough chairs for us to sit at, while there was a table we could have sat at nearby... but the host said we could either stand/sit by the supply closet corner or go back outside and wait in line... Service was extremely slow in general (however, our specific server was sweet at least)... but the food and drinks are not great. Plus one of the servers (that did not serve anyone near our cramped corner) kept making us move and saying that he has to have room to go the supply closet- which we totally understood and we had no problem moving,.. until we realized he was being petty and never grabbed anything from his trips to the supply closet! It just did not make sense why we were put there in that corner in the first place and treated like second class citizens. We all worked in the restaurant business in the past, and we're trying to be empathetic regardless since it was so busy- but we were treated with the utmost disrespect despite our patience. Came here on a Saturday night. According to yelp bar closed at 1:30. My two friends and I walked up to the bar at 12:30 and I asked if they were open. The hostess was very rude and told us last call was at 11:30pm. I asked her if that was last call every night. She told us angerly that we needed leave and that we should check the website, and that yelp was not a reliable source. The experience was tarnished and I would not return to this establishment. I had very high hopes for this place and was severely let down. We accepted the last call but being rude and nasty for no reason is uncalled for. I would recommend hiring new staff. It took a couple tries before the stars aligned. The first time we showed up we were told about the waitlist (which had ended by then) and getting there by 5. Then we forgot they were closed on Mondays. Then life just got in the way the other two times we attempted to go. After reading reviews online, I decided on a whim to give it one more try and popped up around 3:30 p.m. today. I was sure there was going to be a line - but, lo and behold, there was none. I was the first! Then a line quickly started forming after that. Hour and half wait went by fast and was walking in the door right when they opened (yay!). Service was good, food was decent, drinks were nice but expensive, bartenders were GREAT and entertaining. Even the moody lady at the door was in very good spirits along with the rest of the staff. Moral of the story: Get there early (way before whatever time they tell you at the door), get in early, fun time had by all. They even gave us free cookies at the bar! I ordered the calamari (4/5 stars) and three drinks: the Christmapolitan was definitely my fav along with the Yippie Ki Yay one. The You'll Shoot Your Rye Out was just okay. All in all, it's worth the experience to go and enjoy the festive atmosphere. Good luck if you haven't been yet and plan on going. read more

I can only wish this little switch giver is knitting a lower ego for herself. It's s Christmas dreamland! We arrived to miracle two at 4:30pm for the 5pm opening only to find out it wasn't opening until 5:30pm. Apparently they take reservations for large groups as a group cut the line and all immediately was let in. We had a group of 5, but 4 of the 5 were there - we were told by two separate people our 5th could join us once he got there- it was a huge horrible process. The left hand doesn't seem to know what the right hand is doing and the bouncers at the front are not full of Christmas spirit. We had a nice sever and the drinks were all super tasty! I was so excited to try this place, as I love the idea of a Christmas-themed bar. Because this is a pop-up bar that is only around for the Christmas season and the venue, while decent-sized, has limited space, so you can't just walk in the door. When you arrive, you put your name/party on the list, and they'll call your name (via text message) when it's your turn. In our case, we were told we had about 13 people ahead of us, so we went to another bar nearby for about half an hour before it was our turn. We finally entered and the decor was beautiful, it had that cheesy-Christmas overload theme going on, which is exactly what we wanted and expected. But then, we got the drink menu, which was so disappointing. All we wanted was a hot chocolate mixed with peppermint schnapps or an eggnog, but they served neither! They told us they only have what's available on the drink menu...which, indeed, leaves much to be desired. They only have cold drinks on their menu, which is odd, considering the pop-up bar is only around in the winter, during some of the coldest times a year. Would I come back? Yes, I suppose so, but overall, I have to admit, as much as we wanted to love this place, we both left feeling kind of disappointed. read more

Constantly rolling her eyes at my husband and I as if we should not be there and were bothering her, acting if we were a nuisance and stated we were too old to be there. I liked this place last year but this year after waiting 3.5 hours we left. It's just not that great y'all. They desperately need new management and a new hostess that isn't drunk and rude. If you're gonna tell people there is a 5 hour wait for a beverage than you are doing something terribly wrong and you better be giving out free shots or at least hot chocolate. This was so much fun! It's so festive and they go full out on decorations. The drinks are fantastic and the names are so clever. They play a movie throughout the night and some drinks come in super fun cups. I definitely recommend. It does get busy, but as long as your willing to wait, you'll have a good time. My group of 4 went around 11:15 on Sunday, which was close to last call, but everyone was super accommodating and found us a place to sit so we could have at least one drink. We ended up getting 2 rounds of drinks and 2 rounds of shots. read more

A pop up bar! Wow. All Christmas everything. Who would have thought? This was something I definitely had to check out. Doors open at 6pm and the line is said to be outrageous so we arrived at 5:30. The line was still super long. Once the doors open and we got up to the front we were quoted an hour and a half. It definitely took that long too. We stuck through it and made it in. The bar itself is super cute. Christmas packages hanging from the ceiling, Christmas tablecloths, a huge Christmas tree. The drinks were a pricey $12 a pop. I only had 2 and they were both good but you're definitely paying for the experience not to get a buzz. My one gripe would be the lack of Christmas music. Christmas bar with no Christmas music? No bueno. Also, the fact that they kept playing the same movie (Frosty the Snowman). There are so many movies to choose from, they definitely could have has some variety. Last year I absolutely loved going to the Miracle bar in Buckhead despite the fact that we waited outside in line for 2 hours. So this year I highly recommended this as a place for a family get together. We would have had a wonderful experience except for the manager was the rudest human being I have yet to experience in my life. We asked her nicely a simple question and she promptly began to yell at me. So when another member of my party asked her the same question not knowing the question had already been asked of her, the manager proceeded to yell at her as well. The best part was when I approached her to attempted to propose another solution to the question I had previously been scolded for, when I walked up she screamed "oh my god can I help you?" This is the most absurd and rude way I've ever been treated In a restaurant that I am paying to be at. ADDITIONALLY a woman in line for the bathroom was so intoxicated that she peed on the floor and when the manager asked my sister (who witnessed the incident) which woman had done this, my sister pointed her out assuming she would have been escorted out of the restaurant by the time my sister had returned from the restroom but NO! She came back to see the girl was sitting back at her table and the puddle of urine still on the floor with a wet floor sign next to it. How unsanitary for the girl to return to her cushioned seat with urine all over her pants. What made it EVEN worse- the manager sat another party at that table and (to my knowledge ) the seat where the woman who had peed herself had not been cleaned. I was 10000% disgusted both by the way the manager treated me and members of my party but how she didn't clean up the restaurant after someone had been so over served that she peed herself. That is a health department issue if I've ever heard one. read more

I finally made it to Miracle on Monroe!! I attempted to go last year and was told there would be a three hour wait due to limited seating so I left. They open at 5 so this year I made sure I got there at 4:30pm and waited in line for them to open. In my opinion 4:30 was still a little late to join the line because there were about 50+ people in front of my party and I, and we ended up being the last people they allowed into the bar. Everyone after us had to wait for those who were in the bar to finish before they could get in. Long story short, go at 4pm and wait until they open or you will be outside for a while. Once inside I was pleasantly surprised to see that it looked like Christmas threw up in there. Lights and presents were hanging from the ceiling and Christmas jams played obnoxiously through the bar. All the items on the bar were Christmas themed and ever drink I had was delicious. Buyer beware that they are a little pricey. All of the drinks were $12+ and the food they serve are really just snacks so maybe eat before. All in all it was a great experience! The staff was amazing and quite a treat to be around. read more

I adore this place I've gone the last 3 years and it's a Christmas must. The cocktails are creative and well crafted and there are some quality small plate options as well. I've heard horror stories about 7 hour waits to get which is probably true but that comes with this type of pop up. I suggest getting there no later than 4:30p. read more

After eating at Apres Diem, I was looking forward to checking out Miracle bar for weeks. I strategically picked a Thursday night hoping there wouldn't be a long line. There was only 1 person in line at 10 so it didn't even occur to be there would be a problem getting in. Wrong! The host informed us they were not allowing anyone else in tonight despite closing in 2 hours. The place was full but, not packed. She also said if we wanted any chance or getting in we needed to come back around 5 tomorrow or we would be out of luck. Well turns out our luck had really run out as my friend's truck was broken into in the parking lot along with 5 others at the same time. Wow!! Not cool Midtown Promenade! my husband and i went on a double date last night with friends here and we had THE BEST time! it is so festive and cozy and happy! the decorations just instantly put a smile on our faces and the drinks/food were fantastic! i really enjoyed my christmapolitan drink and the eggnog and the fingerling potatoes and omelette were so yummy :) we got there super early- like 4:45 and waited in line because we had been warned it got cray the later you waited. first come, first serve. i hope this comes back every year so it can be a tradition! read more
