Ordered takeout for lunch from mission on fire as the office wanted to try somewhere new. The menu has a wide range of options including tapas, and pizza. We tried the pepperoni pizza it was kind of floppy and could have been cooked a little longer. Maybe the other items are the way to go.

Man... where do I start with this one? We roll into Mission On Fire, and our waitress comes over - mad quick with the smart remarks. Says she "used to be a flight attendant" but now she's here waitressing, which... cool, I guess, but every time I asked her about the menu, it was some sarcastic answer like I just asked her to solve a math problem. I go for the special, right? Ask her about it - more attitude. Fine, whatever. Then I get the oysters. Fifty bucks. Yeah, 5-0. And while they tasted good, they were loaded with little shell bits and even what looked like fish scales. I'm sitting there like, "Yo, am I supposed to chew this or sharpen my teeth with it?" Then dessert. Didn't even want dessert. We ordered it anyway - bad call. Tasted like weird mushrooms. And I've been on a diet, so I was actually hyped to have some sugar, but halfway through I'm realizing, "Oh... this isn't sugar, this is penicillin." Everyone at the table said it smelled off. End of the night? I left confused. Oysters with extra crunch, dessert with a surprise fungus, and a waitress that seemed more interested in delivering punchlines than plates. Mission On Fire? More like Mission: What Did I Just Eat?

Great new restaurant that just opened on Boston-Providence Hwy! Came here with my grandparents and we were delighted. The interior is really cool- red & black chic. The service here is great and the food is pretty solid as well! I really enjoyed my fried chicken sandwich-- it was so crispy just how I love it! The fries were great too and cheesy! The half chicken and mashed potatoes were perfect, and the meatball parm dish was our favorite! We topped the night off with some crème brûlée with fresh whipped cream and berries, some of the best I've ever had.

Went Saturday night and sat at the bar. Bartender was good but my Kettle One and cranberry was so-so. I ordered the Chicken Alla Vodka and it was fantastic! Excellent portion and the flavor was a 10. The wife's shrimp grill was good but not hot, and she rarely complains. Overall it was just below excellent but we'll certainly be back. The restaurant itself and bar area were very nice although I'd have preferred the music not quite as loud.

I feel like it's pretty casual during the day, but can still be a good date night spot in the evening. The servers have always been so nice when I go! Salty Pig Pizza: A pizza with the same name as the restaurant! Who was the genius who came up with the idea of salted pig and beer caramel? It's brilliant! The salted pork appears to include Prosciutto di Parma from Langirano, Prosciutto Cotto, and Salcissia. Baking rendered the prosciutto's fat, which blends with the caramel to create a beautiful golden syrup that flows across the pizza's surface. The prosciutto was savory, oily, and tender; the minced salcissia retains its coarse texture and rich meaty aroma; the caramel was sweet and mellow with a honey-like sweetness, forming the top, middle, and base notes respectively. The arugula was slightly warmed, losing its astringent and raw taste while maintaining its crisp texture, helped to cut through the richness together with the Parmesan cheese powder. The crust was crispy, while the inside the dough was soft and chewy. The cooking time and seasoning were all just right, and the restaurant's proud wooden oven added a charming smoky flavor. Affogato: I had high expectations, but it was just okay. The espresso was too sour, and the vanilla ice cream couldn't balance it out. The almond biscuits had an overpowering almond flavor, and the flavor of plant-based protein was terrible! (Oh, this should have been a plus...)

We had the meat lover's pie and oh my. Wgat a delicious fusion animals, cheese, tomatoes and crust. The taste took me back to a pizza I had many years ago at a place in Cambridge--in a great way! They only sell whole pies, which at first seemed annoying (the first time I tried coming here a few years ago I was by myself and couldn't eat a whole pizza alone) so I had to make this my inaugural tasting). But I see that as ensuring you are only eating a fresh product, where all the ingredients cook into each other and come out hot and ready, instead or something reheated from four hours ago because the day was slow. The menu is simple: pizzas and meat skewers. They know what they do well and lean into it hard. The ambiance has a rustic feel, with tall, weathered wooden booths that make eating a close experience, so please bring people you really like! The servers are present but not hovering and checked on us with the kind of frequency that says, "yeah we should let you eat but not forget you are there." I will be back for sure.

The steak tips and lamb tips were cooked very well, juicy and tender though lacking salt and seasoning. Sausage was good, a bit spicy. I didn't understand the addition of the bread, it was dry and there was no butter or olive oil to go with it. Portions were ok for the price. Pizza was ok, not my kind of pizza, the crust is very thin and cracker like, it doesn't hold up under additional toppings. Flavor of sauce and toppings was good, toppings were also generous. Service was fine, it took the wait staff a little bit to notice we were waiting to be seated. Overall it's worth a try, there's a reason they've been in business over 100 years.
