I ate here and accidentally left my phone and cards at this restaurant. I came back here while my phone was still on the premises (find my iPhone) and none of the employees could find it. Later I found out an employee (who was helping me "look" for my phone) stole my phone and credit cards. I got CCTV footage of him using my cards at stores around the area and brought this CCTV footage of him using my cards to the establishment prior to going to the police and they told me they would compensate me for the phone as the group (Noho Hospitality) that manages this restaurant manages many other higher end restaurants. Later on they told me they couldn't compensate me unless I brought it to the police so I did, and now they tell me they can only give me a $200 gift card (I've spent more on a dinner for 2 at their restaurants for context). They dragged their feet throughout this entire process and it was more than a month after this incident before they even gave me the actual offer of $200 compensation. For the record the employee made charges totaling $300+ on my cards. It was very insulting and also the manager at Mr Dips was not even able to provide me with the chance to have a CONVERSATION with anybody from NoHo hospitality. They simply directed me to their website where you make reservations and they ignored all my attempts to contact them. Genuinely wondering if this how they treat all their customers or just ones they think they can take advantage of (aka black people) I would go into how unhelpful the police were but that's not what we're reviewing here. All in all 0/10 would not recommend going to any of their restaurants because the food is honestly average (Carne Mare) and they clearly don't care about their patrons read more

First and foremost, they have sanitizing stations throughout the inside of the restaurant and an outdoor area for eating with no chairs but high-top tables. They seemed short staffed and were still pushing orders out efficiently. However, I did not see anyone sanitizing tables after customers so you might want to come prepped with your own wipes. The "hospitality" group (NoHo Hospitality Group) that manages this chain hires employees that steal and lie. Then once you catch the employee red-handed thanks to modern day technology, the company will lie to you telling you that they'll reimburse you for what was stolen (in this case it's an iPhone and multiple credit cards). They'll purposefully drag their feet through this entire process, make you wait a month to hear back only to tell you that insurance won't cover this and they can only offer you a $200 gift card as reimbursement. Keep in mind this "hospitality" group that owns this establishment runs at least 15 different restaurants. Their employee committed credit card fraud with the stolen cards and swiped over $300 from the cards (this doesn't even include the cost of the iPhone) and they could only offer $200 credit!!!!! What an insult, I've spent more than $200 on a single meal in one of their restaurants (Carne Mare, which is right next to mister dips). We've asked if they could cover a meal for 4 people instead, we would've been satisfied with this if they weren't willing to compensate us for the stolen phone and credit cards, and they refused to accommodate this request. We didn't even end up claiming the $200 credit because it's an insult and is just not worth it. Throughout this entire process, we've never been given an opportunity to speak with the "hospitality" group directly. They purposefully make it difficult to reach them and we had to talk to the group using the store's manager as the messenger. When we had asked for a phone number where we could speak with someone from the group directly, we were denied as well. We also tried reaching the group via email since that's the only method to contact them on their website (surprise surprise) and of course, they didn't reply! What is this seriously?? We've given this "hospitality" group so many chances to rectify this situation and have been very patient and understanding throughout this process but none of this was ever reciprocated. They'll pretend that they care in the beginning and then wait for things to cool down to tell you to essentially go fuck yourself. Disgusting and unethical practices, this is a so-called "hospitality" group. tldr don't leave anything valuable at any of their restaurants because you won't be getting it back and you won't be getting reimbursed either, even if you have proof that it was one of their employees and even if the police is involved. And yes, the police were involved but they just do not care. read more
