Our server was AWESOME! As for the food...I really wanted to like it but felt that it was just okay. Nothing really blew me away except the churros. If this was closer to my house I'd come back for just the churros.

This experience was OK. They have a lot of cocktails on the menu however they are all tequila and they will not swap them out for any other liquor which I found odd. I did ask them to make me a bees knees and they weren't sure if they could do that, but apparently they figured out how to make one so I did receive that. I did not get to order what I wanted from the menu as they were out of a lot of dishes. I am pescatarian so the only thing I could eat here that day was the vegan tacos, which turned out to be a bunch of carrots. They were extremely spicy and undercooked. They were very hard to eat. I did not have the best time here as the staff seemed very distant. Maybe it was just a bad day. I will try again.

Delicious breakfast options, along with beautiful plating. The colors in the bowl made it more appealing and enjoyable. Our server was very friendly and had a great suggestion on the breakfast empanadas. Next time we're in Denver, this will be a contender for a repeat visit.

A little coleslaw forward, but it adds acid to the breakfast tostada

Great portions at great prices. The smoked potatoes was a meal for two on its own and I liked the breakfast tostada for even less. And the included %20 is awesome. I wish that more places did that.

Wow! I'm a big fan of Mister Oso - Wash Park! First, the place is so cute and fun with the colors and unique wall paper. I also really enjoy the spacious feel and the ability to make a reservation. But most importantly, the food is really good! We ordered a lot of different foods but the Carne Asada Tacos are in point! One of my top restaurants in Denver to go to!

Mister Oso in Wash Park is a great place to stop in for a bite or a beverage. We sat at the bar for a couple of drinks during their progressive happy hour (the earlier you go, the bigger the discount), which has amazing specials and runs from 3-6pm daily. Happy hour includes both small bites and drinks. Bartending staff are friendly and make great drinks. I had their cold brew Martini with espresso vodka, Tromba Cafeto, vanilla, and cold brew. It was delicious! With colorful tropical and floral decor, Mister Oso will transport you away to a little fiesta or siesta, depending on your mood.

Mister Oso is always a good idea! We came at 2pm and was a little bummed to see they were only serving brunch because we love their lunch. We decided to go with it and it was sooooo good! This is your sign to try their brunch. Service was great, sat at the patio (in January 2026!!), and the vibes and food were great.

Had a good experience at Mister Oso and the food was pretty good as well. A lot of unique options! Overall the queso and churros were our favorite!

You've got to be kidding me. Literally crumbs and they looked at this and still served it haha

Went here for restaurant week and Valentine's Day because they had openings (no surprise). The food is usually pretty good here and the drinks are just the same. Service here the last time was alright but my cup seems to sit empty every time I'm in here. Love to atmosphere in here but there's always something off, I've never had a seamless experience here.

The restaurant is so cute with such a fun vibe. Service was excellent, our waitress was attentive and super helpful. We started with queso and guacamole, both of which were amazing. The tacos are served family-style, which I loved because it let me try a little bit of everything. The mojo tacos were incredible and I'll definitely be coming back just for those! The margaritas were also really good and we will be back in the near future!

This location of Mister Oso is actually in the Speer neighborhood (east of Lincoln, south of Speer Blvd, west of Downing and north of Alameda). I have walked by several times during my morning and afternoon walks. Nice colorful decor with range of seating options. I came for Happy Hour just after they opened at 3pm. I sat at the bar and was served by Shannon. I learned she normally works in Boulder and is here two days a week to get more hours. I ordered the house margarita for only $5. It was ok. I got the Death Bear Nachos with chorizo rojo ($12 + $4 for chorizo). Shannon accurately described the dish. The tortilla chips were thicker and toasted. Not overloaded with cheese or crema. The chorizo rojo added flavor. My 2nd drink was the Tamarindo Margarita with less salt on the rim. Much better beverage for $15. A nice snack with drinks. They add a 20% service charge so both servers and kitchen are compensated fairly. They have a east facing patio that I saw people dining last summer.

Host could not have been sweeter, super welcoming and started the night off right. Our server was very different, super short and rushed us from the second we sat down for our reservation. Drinks were not strong but tasted okay, we ordered guacamole which was different but good, bad chips though. The second the guacamole dropped we asked to order again, pictured are the Al pastor which were a disappointment sadly. Fatty and unflavored which was so sad! The Birria were a hit. We then ordered another drink to then be brought the check, we were still eating. Our server Micheal came back with the receipt saying nothing then snatched our signed copy without a word while we were still eating. We had a later reservation but the restaurant was over half full. Super disappointed in this location and our service, would not recommend sadly.

Went for happy hour and prices were ok. I probably wouldn't spend full price for it. I'd rather have Taco Bell than the tacos in the happy hour. Quesabirria was good and empanadas were decent.

From the amazing views to the welcoming staff, everything about this place feels elevated and memorable. The food and drinks were just as impressive. The Ahi Poke with tortilla chips was outstanding, with thick, luxurious ponzu-tossed tuna, creamy avocado, pickled jalapeños, red onions, and furikake. The hummus was also a standout, especially with the matcha salsa, pita chips, and fresh crudité. For drinks, the frozen margaritas were a must -- especially with the mango or guava upgrade, which our server recommended and absolutely nailed. If you're looking for delicious food, creative cocktails, amazing service, and the best rooftop vibes of the summer, Kisbee on the Roof is a must-visit. The chairs fill up quickly and it can feel like trying to claim your spot on a cruise- scoping out who even flinches to take over their spot. However, once you do get a spot, the loungers are super comfortable and there are plenty of umbrellas for shade. They do have cabanas that you can reserve. One thing that they do very well is service. The staff is constantly circulating the pool deck, providing drinks and bites to guests. The service was noticeably excellent and attentive.

Overall, I don't know that I would return for the seemingly overpriced food; but would return for drinks and apps.

We had an amazing dinner at Local Jones (LJs) at the Halcyon Hotel, visiting on the second night of their new menu, and they absolutely nailed it. Our party of four was impressed from start to finish. The staff was outstanding--knowledgeable, prompt, and attentive without ever hovering. It felt like they truly cared about making sure we had a great experience. The food was excellent across the board. My New York strip was cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The rest of our group loved their dishes just as much--the mussels, shepherd's pie, and braised short ribs all got rave reviews. It's not often that four totally different entrées are all home runs, but LJs pulled it off. Great service, great atmosphere, great food. We will definitely make LJs a regular stop whenever we're in Denver. Highly recommend!

The price was a bit high, but the quality of the meal was spot on. I had the seared scallops with celery root puree, pomegranate seeds, cous cous, and toasted hazelnuts. Divine. My husband had the filet mignon with Bearnaise sauce, and roasted potatoes and asparagus. Also amazing. Both dishes per cooked to perfection. All employees were professional and our server was friendly. The atmosphere was lovely--clean, warm, inviting. It was an interesting journey to find the bathroom. It's shared with other parts of the building and was the only thing that needed attending. Four stars for the messy bathrooms, price being quite high, and it was a 2 hour and 45 min dinner. Took forever. I've never had so many glasses of water in my life in such a short period of time. If you can afford it, I would certainly say the food was almost worth it--desserts were just okay, and one of the appetizers was alright.

Some of courses were delicious and some were mediocre. We spent almost $700 for a party of four. The situation that needs the most improvement was the pace of the meal. The courses were separated by a 20-30-minute wait time. Considering that the courses were very small and contained 5-6 pieces for a party of four... that equates to a little more than a small bite every 20-30 minutes. The dinner took 2.5 hours to develop, and we were honestly still hungry by the end. The waiter started asking us if were "still hungry" at about the fifth courses. By the end, we felt awkward in asking for more. The wagyu beef was particularly disappointing as the beef was somewhat chewy, lacking taste and small. Waiters seemed to be near their capacity of workload. Didn't really take the time to serve, walk you thru the menus, keep the service moving or even gauge your level of satisfaction. We ordered dessert to celebrate the birthday. Apart from a small chocolate plaque on the dessert that said, "happy birthday", there was no attempt to celebrate the occasion as other less exclusive restaurants do... no "happy birthday" wish, no courtesy dessert... nothing special. The best part of this meal was by far, the young couple that accompanied us. Friendly advice: if you want to impress a client with something the feels exclusive... this may be the place. If you are looking for amazing food, being pampered and feeling your money was "well spent", try another place. I don't plan to visit this restaurant soon.

Considering the only other US location is in California, I was surprised and knew this would be my opportunity to try it! The aesthetic is modern & elevated with Japanese wooden features. I got 3 classic dishes which was just the right amount of food. I honestly recommend coming with a group to try more items since you know everything will be delicious. The Yellowtail Jalapeño is a signature dish; the yellowtail was delicate & buttery and the citrus soy with the bight of jalapeño made each bite clean, bright, with some subtle heat. I did not expect the Rock Shrimp Tempura to be that good! The shrimp was lightly battered & fried but the sauces were the highlights! Their creamy spicy is a very well-done spicy mayo but the butter ponzu was unreal! Super addictive, rich, and unlike any sauce I've had before. Shout out to my waitress for suggesting getting both sauces on the side rather than lathered on the shrimp, which also kept it crispy. Last but certainly not least is the famous Black Cod! The fish is super buttery and flaky; there were some caramelized edges from the miso glaze which added so much depth & richness to the bite. It's a good balance of sweetness, savoriness, umami that is bound to be good. All in all, so grateful I got to try what many call an institution and will certainly try more of chef Nobu's restaurants.
