This place is good, but the lines are horrendous and trying to order online is a total fiasco. It doesn't take your order and tells you to call the restaurant, which I did and was put on hold every 60 seconds because they were busy. I tried to order my lunch salad and a smoothie AGAIN (over the phone), but they couldn't find the smoothie menu and they were too busy to look. They recommended I come in and order in person!!!?? What's the advantage of ordering online and avoiding the lineup if they're not able to take an order even over the phone. I got tired of being put on hold and hung up. This place needs to step it up when it comes to customer service and being able to handle the lunch hour rush. This has happened to several other people I've talked to as well. There have been times when it took longer for me to pay than to order and have my salad made. Unbelievable!!! read more

Generously portioned salads composed of incredibly fresh ingredients. I ordered their Maui Salad per the recommendation of the patron in line before me, but I wasn't wowed. It lacked flavor despite the fact that it was jam-packed with "stuff." I must have ordered the wrong thing. Will be back to try something else soon. read more

This place is my everyday lunch spot. Can't get enough! The ingredients are always fresh and the free cucumber water they offer is delish. They have great options for vegetarians too. However I only wish they would add some new salad creations in the mix ( no pun intended). It hard to custom build a salad on the fly during rush lunch time so I usually go to the menu and while I rotate everyday it would be great to see some more menu variety...... sooo much to choose from, it's pretty damn confusing/appreciated. i ended up getting the Siam salad: mango, papaya, red pepper, cucumber, greens, spicy crushed peanuts and thai lemongrass dressing.(i added edamame and hearts of palm). it was huge and delicious. i also got a cup of lentil vegetable soup.eh, it was alright... despite the confusion of too many choices and being out of ahi and their moroccan spiced tuna, they did play bobby brown's "my prerogative" back to back with bonnie tyler's "total eclipse of the heart" which really enhanced my dining pleasure...so yeah, 4 stars. they also offer lemon water, cucumber water, keep the place extremely clean, and have bins for trash, compost, and recyclables... read more

Great fresh salad place. Went early Friday evening and did the build your own salad where I was able to load up on super fresh veggies, guacamole and other healthy and even not so healthy toppings. The guy who made our salads was also really nice, helping us choose the right dressings to make our salads just right. It's a really cute, low key place for a healthy lunch or dinner. I visited Mixt Greens on a Monday during the lunchtime rush. It was very busy, but the line moved quickly and the customer service was fantastic. You can get the food to go or to eat there, and they have indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered the Mixt Cobb salad. My salad was delicious, and tasted really fresh. I was really impressed with how pleasant and friendly the service was here, even at a busy time of day. I will definitely be back next time I want a salad, considering it is just a few blocks from my apartment. read more

Meh. Not so hot and definitely not up to par with Tender Greens. I was there for dinner in a totally empty restaurant. No lines at 6:30 on a Wednesday. Had the Madison Salad which just wasn't that tasty. Worst of all, we asked if they validate parking and so the guy went ahead and stamped the ticket. When I arrived at the parking booth it cost me $6.75 for the hour I was there. The parking rates were posted on the sign and Mixt Greens validation stamp was only good for 30 minutes while Baja Fresh's stamp was for 90 minutes and Starbucks for 60. Totally lame policy and incredibly cheap of Mixt Greens not to offer longer validation. I won't be coming back anytime soon... read more

Ordered the Maui salad. There was only one guy working at dinnertime. He didn't really care about the portions or even what went inside the salad. I had to point out what he missed. This is my favorite healthy lunch spot! The Maui is pretty good as is the dagwood. This place gives a huge portion that i always get to go eat half at lunch and the other half a few hours later. I always leave feeling satisfied and not heavy full. I would defiantly recommend this place to anyone wanting to eat something healthy and fairly light for lunch. read more

I work down the street from this place and I love it. It does have service that reflects the hustle bustle let's go fast feeling of Mid-Wilshire, but seeing as most of us want in and out, I can deal. Even the first time I went I didn't mind the rushed feeling in the service because, well, I was in a hurry. I love the Dagwood salad. (I think that's what it's called.) I know it more by it's location on the menu and the fact it has a wonderful lemon herb vinaigrette and a to die for balsamic reduction drizzle. (I always ask for extra balsamic...a drizzle is not enough of this stuff!) Good fresh ingredients. The guys behind the counter are in a hurry, but not rude. I think the best meal you can get at Mixt Greems are the bowls! They are generous with their portions and full of healthy goodness! The Dagwood Salad is simply scrumptious. Portobello mushrooms, goat cheese, roasted red peppers drizzled with a balsamic reduction and a delicious dressing on the side (I always get dressing on the side)? Yes please. I tried the bachelor (bf got it because it had meat) but it was not as flavorful or complex. Even my bf agreed that my meatless salad was superior to his and ordered it the next time we went. :). I found a LIVE WASP in my salad! When I showed them the wasp they apologized but told me "we are organic and pesticide free so sometimes there's bugs." Yeah, not sure how that argument will hold up when someone gets a wasp bite on their esophagus. This place is massively disappointing! I work near museum square so when I saw a salad place was opening I was thrilled. I moved here from new york a few years ago and really miss the create your own salad spots I used to live off of. This doesn't come close to those spots. They try to be gourmet so while they offer specialties like jicama, sesame seeds, roasted red peppers, etc they don't have simple basics like broccoli, mushrooms, black olives, etc. Also, I find their portion size to be ridiculous. Considering they are charging $9-13 you should get a big salad. Instead, their salads last one meal. You are not going to have even a bite left over. When I buy salads from Bossa, Lulu's, Toast, even Johnnie's I always have leftovers. Lastly, while their lettuce is really good (I like the mixt greens) their proteins like the chicken and seared ahi tuna are gross! The tuna tastes so fishy and the chicken is bland and dry. Overall, the place is decent and I'll keep eating here from time to time. I just wish they had better ingredient choices, fresher/tastier proteins and gave you a tiny bit more for your money. read more

I go here for lunch probably 2-3 times per week and always order the Bachelor salad which is fantastic. There are tons of standard salads you can order, or you can make your own. They have a huge variety of salad types and toppings to choose from. Everything is fresh and delicious. The salads aren't cheap (around $11-13 per salad), but worth it for me since I wouldn't eat greens otherwise. The only negative is that the lines can be tremendously long at lunch. I have waited 15-20 minutes from the time I stepped into line to the time I pay for my meal. Expect very long lines if you go between 12-2pm. Because of this, I like to order online and pick up to save time (you can pick up 20 minutes after you order online). They will automatically put the dressing on the side for you if you order online so your salad doesn't get soggy. Very convenient! read more
