I double parked my car as I saw the interaction with the cashier and my boyfriend from outside. Funny enough, when I went to pick up the bag from the shelves, I was NOT asked to show confirmation but I made it a point to show the employee that I had the confirmation on my phone. That inconsistency speaks for itself. The employee at the register was a Caucasian gentlemen who was bald and was wearing glasses. I understand that employees have policies they have to follow. But if verifying pick up orders is the policy, then apply it to EVERYONE. You do not get to selectively enforce a policy and then expect customers not to notice. The fact that my boyfriend was singled out while multiple other people were not is deeply concerning and felt like racial profiling. I was born and raised in the neighborhood. Literally two blocks away. Me and my family order from this location numerous times which makes this experience even more disappointing.
