I've been to the SF location and the SR location. Both are set up pretty similarly. I had the rooster sandwich both times. This way you get a sandwich and a salad. I came in to redeem the gift card I received at the Yelp Fit Club event. It's set up similarly to Urban Plates where you order at the front and they put it together in front of you cafeteria style. The rooster sandwich is good - it includes pesto, arugula, chicken and apples. The salad is just a regular mixed greens salad. They ended up giving me a lemonade instead of an arnold palmer but I kept it anyway. It was a bit on the sour side for me. The price is fair for having such a healthy option and the open seating makes it a good spot to go to. I had no idea they were a B corporation so I was happy to support a business like that. If I'm in the area and craving something healthy I would definitely stop in again. I'm glad to see that there are more food options here because last time I went, there were very few. read more

Super tasty salads with many great recipes. It is very salty and full flavored. Many of these dishes contain a lot of cheese and meat and salad dressing, so it's super tasty but maybe not super healthy. Anyways, I love what what their doing with their salads and you can get vegan salads there too. they let you customize it as much as you want. The salads here are not worth the money. I ordered a Falaf salad and why it is called that I do not know. It has a sprinkling of falafel crumbs and that is it. It is basically a spring sale mix with grapes, cucumbers, cauliflower and chickpeas. The description on the menu is completely misleading. They essentially put the cheapest, most easily available ingredients into a salad and charge you like $15 for it. Unbelievable. I really don't write any reviews or anything, but Fernando recommended that I write a review for them so I did. The food was amazing I tried the Zesty Salad and it was phenomenal. Yuck! This place is laughably overpriced and each salad I've tried has been disgustingly warm, soggy and highly over-dressed. I've given this place three tries before writing a review. Each time being equally as gross and disappointing. I've tried the Orchard, MIXT Cobb and some summer seasonal salad that was clearly forgettable since I can't remember the name. The apples in the Orchard salad were incredibly mealy, nearly mush, the dressing was overpowering, even when I asked for light dressing, and the lettuce/ kale was grossly warm. The same can be said for the Cobb but the chicken in that salad was chewy/ grisly and had a funky burnt taste. All-in-all disappointing and a complete waste of money. read more

I ordered the Orchard since I prefer to let the chef combine the flavors for me. They were all delicious and large enough to take half of it home for later. Overpriced salad. I ended up paying almost $19 for a mediocre salad. I ordered the Poppy Salad which says it comes with grilled chicken in it. I asked the server if I could replace those pre-cut cube chicken (those grosses me out) with their grilled chicken and he said no problem. At the end of the line, the Asian guy at the counter took over and told the cashier to charge me extra for the chicken. WTF?! The menu indicates the salad comes with GRILLED chicken. It didn't specify it has to be the nasty cubed chicken. I didn't want to complain coz I didn't want to hold up the line, so I just paid $19. Left there feeling ripped off. There are so many dressings to choose from and I was not sure which one to choose, she was so gracious helping me decide. Love that they had options for everyone - meats, dairy and dairy-free. We came as a family here today. Our salads were okay. I felt bad for the guys making them as the owner/ maybe head chef was literally on their backs watching how each was made and hovered enough to make even me uncomfortable for them. Steak was super tough and lacked in flavor. We had about 5 oz of steak cut up for the kids, 1 green salad with cucumber and 2 salads off the menu. No drinks. bill was $62.00 and this included tip. No servers and still ask for a tip. You bus your own dishes. I think that's a bit pricey for a few salads and a mediocre steak. read more
