The aesthetic is super cute. They did really well with the design. Bathrooms are clean and individual. They only had two servers on a Saturday afternoon with the bartender, busser, and expo helping out. The server we had was nice and attentive. There was a time in which he was getting a little overwhelmed with the other 4 tables he was helping but he kept his composure. The manager walked around and asked customers how everything was going. However, he skipped my bf and I, still taking time to ask the other two tables next to us about their experience. The food was 3.5 out of 5. We got egg drop soup & hot and sour soup, which was honestly the best part. We shared the kung pao chicken with fried rice (+$2.50) and it was okay. The fried rice tasted and had the consistency of steamed rice. The rice was not crispy and lacked seasoning. It seemed like they just added color & veggies to make it look like fried rice. Overall, I understand they just opened and are still adjusting and growing. I believe I will be back but not for a while. read more

Really good menu. I like they have a good variety dim sum options in addition to traditional menue items. Have tried moo shoo pork, buda's feast, garlic eggplant, and chicken lo mein. We went To MiYa last evening for dinner with friends! Had the best meal and service by Adam. Happy hour drinks and wine were amazing and the ambience is really delightful. When we left at 7 the place was packed and I can see why. What a great Chinese restaurant and absolutely the best addition to the Casa Linda area. On just their fourth day open the service was beyond reproach and the food was delicious! The egg drop soup is some of the best I've ever tasted. The staff was working very hard as the restaurant was full, but our server, Blake, never missed a beat and the hostess, Bella, was equally as attentive. This food feels healthy to the body, which is not always the case with Chinese food in Texas, probably because it's a scratch kitchen. I have food allergies and not only is the menu marked for gluten-free dishes, they will make substitutions. The Singapore rice noodles were deliciously seasoned with curry. A super welcome addition to Casa Linda! We tried MiYa on a Sunday evening and we so impressed. They took over a closed Pei Wei location and completely transformed it - the ambiance is lovely and perfect for a restaurant that is both classy and family friendly. We started off with the chicken egg rolls, crab rangoons, and the bbq spare ribs. The egg rolls and crab rangoons were good - nothing too crazy. The ribs though - I had to beg my 6yo to let me try a bite because she was eating them so fast! For dinner we split the chicken with broccoli, the crispy beef, and the combo hand pulled noodles. The chicken with broccoli again was good but nothing crazy. The crispy beef and the hand pulled noodles were some of the best Chinese we've ever had in DFW. Our 1yo was ravenous for the noodles! My husband and 6yo finished with the chocolate nutella bao, which was epic. Service was great as well! Very attentive, friendly, and made great suggestions! We will be back and sincerely hope it's successful in Casa Linda! read more

Had high hopes as we live a mile away and are in desperate need of more good, interesting restaurants in the 'hood. Alas, we shouldn't haven't gotten our hopes up. 1) The food. - Their "specialty" combo noodles: mush on mush on mush. Mall food court quality. - The combo dumplings: not bad, despite the fact that the menu specified 2 each of pork, shrimp, and veggie and the actual order swapped out the shrimp for what was most likely beef. - The egg drop soup: pretty good - Cucumber and seaweed salad - WTF. Garden variety seaweed salad topped with 6 thick slices of completely unseasoned cucumber w some sesame seed sprinkles. Truly bizarre. - Side of egg noodles with butter for our 5-year old: No butter or anything remotely resembling moisture. 2) The service - Quickly seated and given the table of our choice - off to a good start. - Entree came out before the appetizers. - The two bottles of beers we ordered came out after all food was served, no "cold glasses" (as the receipt oddly noted). - Dumpling sauce came out when we were half way through eating the dumplings. - Had to ask for soy sauce and chili oil. - Aforementioned egg noodles w butter sans the butter. - Wait staff otherwise came by often and very attentive. 3) Ambience - Nice decor and vibe for a neighborhood spot. 4) Value - casual upscale pricing for average/mediocre takeout Chinese food quality (and still can't get over that bizarro dry unseasoned cucumber salad and the fact that it's a thing on a menu). I have enjoyed two visits to MiYa Chinese. The decor is a vast improvement from the previous restaurant as is the staff attire. It all sets the stage for a pleasant and immersive experience. Our waiters have been knowledgeable and helpful. I observed the other patrons, and all seemed as pleased as we were. At 5pm, all tables were occupied, probably because the food is fresh and delicious. They offer the standard entrees, but also offer an excellent selection of lesser known dishes. My friend from Hawaii was very familiar with all the offerings and was impressed with the quality. This is the best restaurant in Casa Linda. read more

Service was nice, needed to be more attention to my water being empty, for they use very small glasses. Atmosphere was very nice but it should brand new place. So I have been working in many Chinese restaurants for over 30 years. So this is what I think it's not [ Tasty Restaurant] that is the cream of the crop, that most Asians go to. There sauces is what makes or breaks a restaurant especially Chinese they do all the same in vegetables and meats, but sauces is what brings out the winners. Miya missing alot of flavors , I tried the Garlic sauce on one of there main dishes with tofu. It liked flavor needed more vinegar to even make it taste like garlic. Then all the sauces wore like water. I had a plate of water with oil on the bottom of my plate, you can tell by the bubbles in the sauce all oil. Not good! The sauce did not stick to my food at all. Like it should so you can taste the flavor of the meal. Needed more corn starch, to thicken, LOL! Like no one taught them cooking 101! My food was trenched in watery something with alot of oil. Even my tofu could not hold up and was soggy. Ordered egg rolls they were a disappointment very small not handmade. My wife plate was the same she ordered the Mita spicy chicken again a plate of watery mess with lots of oil, see the bubbles when you look at the plate. Any way I will try other things there to see if they might have other meals maybe they are better at I think try the duck, another hard meal to get right. So I will give 3 stars until I try other meals see if they have what it takes. But not looking good. read more

Great new restaurant, nicely decorated, great service and food. loved the speciality Lo Mein, it was really great. Warning though...when ordering hot tea, be sure to check the prices which we didn't and the waitress didn't bother to enlighten us. hot Hibiscus tea is cocktail price, yep, $12 for TEA! ridiculous and didn't find out until we got our bill. neither the waitress or the manager seemed concerned at our misfortune. it should have been comped but instead only took off 1/2. we will be back becuz we loved the food but the pricing for this should be fixed or removed from menu. read more
