Thought I'd give Mod another try. Sorry I did. Clearly employees don't care how the make a pizza. Spinach was laying in Marinara sauce. Dirty tables, dirty kitchen area. Let me begin by saying Thomas (one of the managers) is one of the nicest people I've met in the customer service industry. He also made the best pizza I have ever had. He explained a bit of the business and customer service model, and after he explained how well this company treats the employees, I think the pizza tasted even better. This place deserves more than five stars! My family and I have now been here twice. The first time right before closing (oooops) and the second time yesterday. The pizza is very tasty and you get to choose your toppings - can't get any better than that! Their lemonade is also fantastic! We received not only speedy but extremely friendly service! Yesterday when we went in the manager even remembered us and it had been almost a week since we had first been in! I would recommend MOD to everyone that asks me! I really appreciate the extremely friendly service! We will continue to come experience MOD in downtown Naperville! The downtown Naperville location is excellent! Megan helped me out last time I visited and she was great! She had a smile on her face the whole time and even sparked up a conversation about my engagement when I told her the food was for my fiancée. Very friendly and professional. We had a fantastic pizza experience! The place is clean, the staff here is amazing, the food is always fresh and delicious. When we had an issue with charges, Megan was super helpful and kind. I admit the food was good, the model works, but what doesn't work are disgruntled workers giving customers attitude. It was our very first time here and we didn't exactly know how things worked. We ordered two preset menu recipe items and didn't know we had the choice of different sauces or ingredients. We wanted a different sauce or we didn't know but before we could decide the guy with an attitude threw away the dough with the sauce. He was young and had a tattoo on his arm and wore glasses. He should not be in food service. I've worked in the industry many years, I'd never want an employee so rude. We even saw him give attitude to the lady and her son in front of us. You could tell they do well because the place was packed on a beautiful 70 degree Saturday in a February. So, I could understand that they had not yet wiped any tables or refilled the forks and so on, but I like the food. I like actually loved the food however I will never be coming back to this location, you can bet on that. I hope they will treat customers with respect and courtesy instead of attitude and anger. read more

The food is consistently great and timely. There are classic pizzas to choose from or you can can create your own - they definitely have a hold on the fast casual trend. The service can be very hit or miss; the employees are either very warm and professional or cold and rude. Overall, MOD is definitely a welcomed addition to the downtown Naperville food scene. read more

I really love this place. The salads are great because you can get whatever you want with no up-charge. I get a mini pizza sometimes and skip the mozzarella and get a sprinkle of Asiago. Less calories than a lean cuisine and a million times better. Super thin crispy crust and very fresh, tasty ingredients. The teas and lemonade are also really good and different. Everyone I work with downtown and I came here so much when it first opened and now I'm on my 2nd wind. 4 stars because most the upper management is from Starbucks which makes me feel gross and weird about their edgy image and punky music selection. read more

I came here for my first time today to try what the hype is all about and considering I work at Papa Johns, I critiqued the pizza A LOT. First, they have this cool machine that they put a ball of dough in and it smushes it into the shape of the pizza which i'm pretty sure is 11 inches, however the crust is soooooo thin. Next, they put sauce on and they put a decent amount of sauce on but then they move onto cheese and toppings... they cheese their pizzas as if the cheese was scarce like you could see the sauce still even though it should be covered with the cheese. Now toppings, they dont distribute the toppings all over the pizza its kinda like a bunch of bacon here, a little piece there, and barely any over here. The first time I went in, it was busy which was good. The menu on the wall had various "Styles" of Pizza, none of which really appealed to me, then the girl behind the counter said "Do you want to build your own"? Heck yeah. So I began, can I have Mushrooms, more please, and they keep on coming, It's brick over pizza, the cook time is short the food is good and the people are fun. That would be GOOD,FUN,FOOD. The place is clean. Very clean. Which creates a comfortable environment. I have since been back twice, and will go again.
