This location can get a little crowded for seating during summer rush hour . . but in Seattle Center you can eat in various places in the Center House or outside. During the Mural Movie nights you can get a pizza and eat it on the lawn while you watch. . . nothing better than that! read more

MOD pizza is cheap and quick but they do a really good job at it. This particular time I ordered the Jasper, signature red sauce, mozzarella, spicy italian sausage, mushrooms. Thin crust, almost like a soft cracker, good sauce and fresh ingredients make for a good pizza. Even though they it was a long line at The Armory it did not take very long at all. I work nearby and when I heard the center house (apparently known as 'the armory' now) was getting some legit new eateries I was pretty thrilled as the choices in lower QA are rather limited. I had been waiting for the MOD opening, but had no idea of what date the grand opening was. It must've been fate that I decided to take a walk on my lunch hour and stumble upon it on opening day. It was pretty busy, but the service was quick, and there was a nice guy explaining the menu as you walked up. I was impressed by how smooth they were running for just being open a couple hours. Overall, the pizza was good for the price of $6.88! It is more than enough for one person and easily shareable between two. The best part? You can add as many topping as you want and the price is still just... $6.88! No extra charge :) I will definitely be back to try some different topping combos. read more

I don't get it. I suppose that if you're in Seattle Center's Armory and you don't want to walk outside, it is - technically - pizza, and it is made to order. The salads are boxed, though, and the service is only fast from the standpoint that it's faster than baking a pizza with a real crust. Truly "fast" pizza is, you have fresh slices ready to plate. There's better food in the Armory, and there's four better pizza places within a block of the Center. It's not BAD, there's nothing wrong with it, but - Meh. I've experienced better. Line was super long. Takes a while to get a pizza. Taste wise and toppings wise...Ive had better. Not a lot of variation you can do if you want something made yourself. Definitely a fan. Now that we have little ones, fast and loud is the best. I always order our little ones first, and usually by the time they mix our salad and I pay for everything, the pizza is ready. Very important when you have impatient hungry little ones with no attention span. Been to many different locations. This particular one at the Seattle Center is waaay too crowded. This review is specific to my experience at this location and not generally for MOD pizza, which I would give 4 stars for the price point/quick turnaround to get a meal. I came during a non-peak time (a bit before 5pm on a weekday after tourist season). The staff person gave me the space and time to look at the menu without suffocating me. When I gave the signal that I would be ordering something, he promptly greeted me, asked me if I had ever been to MOD pizza, etc. I could tell that he was very new and still training, but he was perfectly fine. His manager was there and scolded him for doing a very minor task incorrectly. Something about taking the pre-made pizza dough from the top or bottom of the rack and he did the opposite, I don't know... it didn't seem to have a significant impact on anything. It was unprofessional for her to do that in front of a customer, and it made me uncomfortable. I didn't appreciate her tone while talking to him, and she could have coached him in a more supportive manner. She should have addressed the issue privately when a customer wasn't around. Either her manager needs to give her additional training if she is going to act in a supervisory role, or she didn't listen during the training that she received and should be fired. So, I didn't have to wait very long at all for the pizza since no other customers were there. The cashier was friendly, and the person who gave me my pizza once it was done was also friendly. My biggest issue is that I'm pretty sure that I got minor food poisoning. I can't think of anything else that I ate yesterday that would have put me at risk. I think the issue is that I selected white sauce. The sauce had probably been sitting out for a while because there weren't many customers between peak lunch time and when I ordered my pizza, and I mean, it is white sauce. Or maybe it was the cheese? Or roasted garlic? Whatever it was, I am never coming back to this MOD location. I didn't like the young woman in charge and it made me sick. (I would eat at another MOD location with better management though). read more

Only cheese free sauce is BBQ which is a bummer since I wanted marinara but I went with just garlic sprinkled on it. Pizza was good without sauce. Really good gluten free crust, so much so I wondered if it was gluten free. I did feel a little sick after eating it but I wonder if that's from cross contamination with gluten as opposed to the crust. They wrote on the paper cheese allergy but no special notes about gluten other than marking the crust type. It did seem to take a bit longer to make than others so I wonder if they did separate it from other pizzas. I don't have celiac so I didn't ask, I usually do okay in non gluten free environments. I came here during Bumbershoot weekend and I am 20 years old so I am unable to drink liquor at public events, I came here with my significant other who's 23 , he's able to purchase alcohol. Mind you we were sober the entire time, I hadn't been here before so I was a little slow grasping the idea of how MOD PIZZA works. Katilyn at the register working on Saturday at 6pm was under the impression that I was "too intoxicated to serve" yet we were both sober and I would like to know how she came about this theory. My wife and I are split about this place. I think it's great for thin crust lovers. It has a nice crisp to it, and then to add toppings, even basic pepperoni, comes out nice and toasty - plus garlic butter drizzled on top! It was delicious! I brought nine 10 year-olds and a couple of adults to celebrate my daughter's 10th Birthday... They they were really busy and had a long line...
