    Bulgogi 'Ribeye'

    Got take out from Mokbar and was definitely happy with my lunch. Got the bulgogi rice bowl and the meat was tender and juicy. It also came with an egg, which I would've liked more if it was not raw (the center was totally raw) which I was not aware of. I would've asked for a hard boiled egg instead. Also got the beef dumplings and that was delicious! Overall would definitely get Mokbar again. Food had good flavor and good experience.

    Like many others, I came here because I'm a fan of Esther Choi's content. A friend got me kimchi from here once and I thoroughly enjoyed the kimchi. However, the food is just mid. It's in the middle of Chelsea market but has middle America mall food court vibes. I got the ho cake and beef dumplings. Both were a little on the greasy side. The ho cake filling was nice but the bread part was a bit doughy. The dumplings were a disappointment as the frying didn't really add much crispness (although did taste a little burnt) and just made the dumplings greasy. While I'm usually a fan of thin skinned dumplings, the skin here was falling apart so made the dumplings hard to eat. The filling was a bit bland.

    For a place in Chelsea Market, the food here was surprisingly mediocre. The food took about 15-20 minutes, which was one of the shorter lines at the market. Be prepared to sit outside, as this restaurants like the others, will have limited seating.

    Wow was this place delicious! Located inside the Chelsea Market this was a definite must try on my trip to NYC. The Bulgogi buns were so soft and filled with so much flavour, I totally recommend stopping by here for some good Korean food. 8/10 recommend!

    Stopped by here for dinner - the food is overpriced and had small portions. We had a bulgogi bowl which had too much rice. Bao bun on the other hand, was pretty good. Service was average, lines were kinda long and food took awhile.

    My kids love their curry! We came back in a week to have their curry and hwa chae. We had dumplings and curry with lemonades doordashed the other day, dumplings were good delivered but on site, they were not so good and literally bad shape. Disappointing about that but the rest were good. Noodles were overcooked today for chicken curry and ramen, but still nice. Brussel sprout sauce was awesome.

    SERVICE - located inside Chelsea Market - takeout only so need to find a table within the market or take your food elsewhere to eat - food ready within minutes MENU - Korean fusion food - limited vegetarian and vegan options - average price ($17 per entree) FOOD - bibimbap with fried tofu and noodles (5/10): cold wheat noodles topped with fried tofu, seasonal vegetables, kimchi, and gochujang sauce. The best part of this dish was the kimchi. It was spicy yet sweet and still had a good amount of crunch. Otherwise, I was not amazed by the rest of the ingredients. The tofu was cold and soggy and the noodles had no flavor unless they were doused in sauce. WOULD I GO BACK? Probably not.

    This is a stall inside of Chelsea market. When I arrived Saturday at lunch time no one was here but there was a long line next door at the taco place. I place my order, Ho cake, k-town fries and tuna poke. Order came took a bit to come out not sure why especially when no one else was around. The Ho cake was sooo oily! The pork belly inside did not have any taste. For $8.00, it was maybe 2.5 inches in diameter. The K-town fries was nothing special at all. The kimchi on top was not spicy at all and lacked flavor. The tuna poke bowl was meh..the rice was mushy. I was hyped since I am a fan of Chef Choi but this place was over priced and just not good. So disappointed.

    Located in Chelsea Market, this place has a countertop order area and quick service. Came here around noon on a weekend and ordered the Tuna Poke bowl which comes with a choice of rice or noodles. Since it's in Chelsea Market, the ambiance follows that of the rest of the market and is lively. The tuna was tasty, a con would be the price!

    Conveniently located in Chelsea Market, this is one of my favorite Korean restaurants in the area. Had their Classic Ramen and K-town Fries. The ramen broth had a nice kick of spice from the gochujang and was savory and rich. The toppings in the ramen were elevated from the broth. The braised pork was soft and tender and very flavorful. K-town fries were regular fries with great kimchi over it, but the bulgogi aioli that it came with was the star of this dish. The best aioli sauce I ever had.

    I ordered the Chicken Katsu Curry Rice Bowl and it has little to no taste. I noticed the bag came with the curry on the side so I put some on the food and it got worse. This is my first time trying Korean food and I'm disappointed. Service was decent so I won't give 0 stars.

    Chicken 'Samgyetang' Ramen

    This place is actually soooo good, def on par with the other food places in the Market. I got the chicken ramen and ordered chili oil on the side and it made it perfect. Chicken was so soft and tender and they gave me my food within 5 minutes which was amazing. No seating but that's how it is in the market lol

    Made popular by Tv chef Esther Choi, Mokbar is her creation inspired by her Korean roots and family. This Mokbar is located in the popular Chelsea Market and happens to be right across from the also very popular Los Tacos No.1! So this corner of the building was almost shoulder to shoulder when we were there. This isn't a sit down restaurant but rather more of a food stall. There's no "kitchen" in the back so you can watch as they prepare your food. Afterwards good luck finding a place to sit and eat. You may have to settle for standing and eating. We were lucky to find a table outside. Their menu is simple with the basics and then some. There's hocakes, dumplings, korean fried chicken, edamame, buns for appetizers. They have bowls of bulgogi, curry chicken katsu, bibimbap and tuna poke. Of course you have your nooodle bowls: Classic ramen noodles, kimchi, chicken, vegan miso or army "budae" stew. The line to order wasn't nearly as long as Los Tacos nearby, but it seemed the wait was longer. The order of 10 pork dumplings was on par. It was nicely cooked and tasted good. I tried their classic ramen noodle bowl with an extra poached egg. The broth was spot on. The veggies and bean sprouts were fresh with beautiful egg noodles. Yom Yom Yom. Prices are exorbitant, but this is New York City and Chelsea Market. Welcome to NYC.
