Enjoyed by decaf Holy Cacao Latte very much (added honey). Hubby liked his Chai with homemade syrup. Daughter's matcha was a little earthier than she prefers. Friendly service and cute patio at end of Kapa'a. Loads of ambiance too!

This was the second coffee shop we visited while in Kauai and ended up being so close to where we were staying. A converted bus now serving up some great coffee. It was the first place I had a macadamia nut latte and was delicious. You could tell it was a popular spot for locals and tourists alike, but the staff was quick to take orders. My drink took maybe five minutes to come out and the iced macadamia nut latte had the perfect amount of sweetness. I was worried it might be too sweet, but it was just the right amount. We ended up coming here a few times throughout our trip!

Cutest coffee truck ever! They are right in a parking lot so very easy parking available. I got their matcha latte with soy milk, and it was so good! I usually make my own matcha these days but I was very happy with theirs. Strong matcha taste, no bitterness! Super smooth to drink Will definitely stop by again when I'm in town.

Great coffee and even better service! The guy behind the counter moved quickly to get a huge line their drinks. Got a quad shot iced americano and it was solid! Very cool vibe here!

Located on the main road at the north end of Kapa`a town. They serve coffees, scones and bagels. Small sitting area in the front and sheltered seating in the back. Ono no-frills coffee also available.

Kauai Juice Co. was such a fun stop during our trip! I ordered the Starburst (strawberry,…read morepineapple, orange), and it totally reminded me of Jamba Juice's Strawberry Surfrider -- one of my all-time favorites -- so I was instantly obsessed. It was super refreshing, flavorful, and perfect for the island vibes. They offer two sizes, and I went with the smaller one, which was honestly perfect. It comes in the cutest reusable glass bottle, and they let you return it (washed) for store credit -- such a great eco-friendly touch! But honestly, it's also such a cute souvenir that you might want to keep it. The shop itself also carries a variety of other items, so I'll definitely be coming back to explore more during our trip. The location is great too -- there's plenty of street parking and a nearby parking lot, and it's surrounded by other cute shops and foodie spots, making it a great place to walk around and explore. Overall, such a refreshing and aesthetic spot -- highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

I chose Kauai Juice company and had my very first juice which to this day is one of my favorites. Since July, I've branched out to not only the juices, and juice shots, but also the tinctures. They've got a truly spectacular selection of supplements as well as salads, chocolate and honey. I also enjoy their merch. I bought a Kauai Juice racer back tank that I practically lived in the entire summer long! All of the juice baristas are super friendly and knowledgeable. I'm a regular at Kauai Juice and I've also branched out from the OG spot in Kapaa to the larger location in Kilauea. Highly recommend this place! They're awesome

When I went there even happened to be some live music. It made for a lovely family friendly ambiance I got the "Next Level" bowl with additional soursop - Pros: way more filling than I expected. The peanut butter and coconut chunks definitely added heft. I loved the texture of the coconut chunks that added a chunky bite, whereas the granola added a light crisp. The textures were really fun to eat. The açai base wasn't overly sweet - Cons: aside from banana, any other fruit is additional $2.50, which is pretty pricey. In total, my bowl came to $20. It was unfortunate that the soursop wasn't fruit chunks, but instead a puree In addition to the standard menu, today they had a special bowl with assorted fruit on top, yum. I can't remember exactly which poke varieties we got, but I believe one was their shoyu poke and the other was a spicy ahi. Regardless, everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. This is exactly the kind of mom-and-pop spot I love finding while traveling. No frills, just friendly people serving great food at reasonable prices. The poke was fresh, the karaage was flavorful, and the lau lau was tender and comforting. The staff was welcoming, the portions were generous, and the prices were fair, especially considering the quality of the food. There are plenty of places to eat on Kauai, but spots like this are what make a trip memorable. We'll definitely be back the next time we're on the island.

But it both hasn't kept up with some of the more creative offerings at other shave ice places, and the quality was lower on our most recent trip (June 2026). Here are the rankings of the shave ice places from our last trip: Kauai Shave Ice Rankings 2026 1. (Tied) North Shore Bowls in Kilauea - very enjoyable and creative pre-designed flavor combos, nice fluffy ice, good ice cream, flavorful syrups 1. (Tied) Wailua Shave Ice - very enjoyable and creative pre-designed flavor combos, delicious toppings, very good ice texture and ice cream; too light on the syrup for one of our two trips 3. Wishing Well in Hanalei - good fluffy ice and really flavorful natural syrups; downside is it's very crowded (always!) and pretty basic 4. JoJo's in Hanalei - this is a standard shave ice place; ice was a bit compact and icy, but the syrup was plentiful (maybe too much, if you can believe that, for our one visit) and the ice cream was both generous and good 5. Hee Fat in Kapaa - great flavors but the syrup was light coverage, and the ice cream seemed gummy/freezer burned, ice was decent texture; used to be our favorite in Kauai in years past, but it hasn't kept up with other places and maybe the quality has gone down hill 6. Honu Shave Ice in Kapaa - syrup was very light, almost nonexistent on one of our shave ices, ice was clumpy/chunky, ice cream was really minimal, flavors were decent
