What can I say that I haven't said already. Food consistency is always the best in town . Quality you can taste on any item of the menu. Love the ambiance . Clean and welcoming.

Food 5/5 My first impression was that the fish was high quality, I was happy to see that the rolls didn't include imitation crab. The sushi was delicious and practically melted in my mouth. The rolls are a bit on the smaller side; usually one roll fills me up, but here I had to order two. I also really enjoyed the miso soup. The edamame was good, though a little too salty for my liking. Customer Service 5/5 Customer service was excellent! Our waitress was super friendly and welcoming, and I loved that she gave great recommendations. She really knew the menu, which is always a plus and so helpful when ordering, especially at a new spot. Loved, loved, loved it! Ambience 5/5 I was shopping at the thrift store next door and never expected the inside of this place to be so nice. It's a hidden little gem, the interior is beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully put together! Cleanliness 5/5 Super clean during my visit ! Wait Time 5/5 We were seated immediately, and since it wasn't busy at first, our food arrived quickly. Once it got a bit busier, the wait was longer, but still completely reasonable. Cost 4/5 It was a bit on the pricey side for the portion size, but considering the quality and flavor, it was understandable. Just keep in mind that rolls are around $20 each. Appetizers, like the spicy edamame, are $10, the miso soup was $4, and extras are listed on the back of the menu for an additional charge.

My dad and I are sushi fanatics, and he told me about Momo but I was a little hesitant, because trying new places could be a hit or miss. Well one day we decided to try it and let me tell you........BEST DECISION WE EVER MADE! From the first bite the sushi LITERALLY melts in your mouth and explodes with flavor. It is unlike anything I've ever tried. This is now our go to sushi spot for special occasions and it its worth every cent. You can feel the love in the food. It truly is a gem!

First timer here! I had a wonderful experience! Omakase was really good! The price point is average for quality sushi. Omakase is a dining style where you trust your chef to choose the freshest ingredients and curate your dining experience. The chef didn't let us down! We usually bring a bottle of wine with us but the corkage fee was $25 so we opted to just get a bottle of their Sauvignon blanc. I forgot the name but it was in the $35-$40 range and I enjoyed it! Maybe a little too much as I was buzzed pretty quickly lol. The staff was nice and welcoming. I always recommend sitting at the bar. I love being able to chat with the chef and observe how he cuts fish and makes nigiri. The inside of the restaurant is clean and modern with sleek lines and simple yet elevated features. The ambiance was really nice. The appetizer plate was a great start. There were so many things on the plate and I must say my favorite was the cute little deep fried crab! It looked a little intimidating at first but it was love at first crunch. The fish was fresh. The sushi rice was made perfectly. The servings were nice. The chef even asked us if we were still hungry and he'd make us a hand roll. Usually I would want to try but I was stuffed! I finished the meal with matcha mochi ice cream. Yum! Can't wait to visit again!

Was in the area for Castlepark, and family was craving sushi. Out of the several options in the area, we found this location and it didn't disappoint. I wouldn't expect quality and tasty sushi out in Riverside, but this place exceeded my expectations. Each roll was made with attention to detail, good portions and fresh ingredients. Staff were friendly, and they mentioned whether we had made reservations. But we did not, and they were still able to get our party of 9 in with no problem. There is a separate side room good for larger parties as well as a huge group if needed. Decor is modern, and clean. Our server was wonderful, she was friendly, good at explaining the dishes, and was prompt with refilling our drinks or letting us know it's their last call. Cost is roughly $20+ for each roll, and they also offer an Omakase option which is pretty cool to see. This place is above the standard sushi places I've visited before, as each dish stood out and tasty.

Sushi lovers must try! This spot is the real deal. Skip the cheap, go to sushi spots around town and make Momo your next destination for all things sushi. Fresh. Fresh. Fresh. Loved everything we tried. And the service was great. Absolutely best sushi experience in Riverside.

I came here with my hubby around 8 PM on a Saturday night and it was fairly quiet. The atmosphere was pretty chill and you could see the sushi chefs making the food behind the counter which we appreciated. Even though it didn't close till much later, they were more focused on prepping for the next day, then providing good service. For example, we were never given any soy sauce, one of the rolls that we were excited for did not come with the sauce and the server mentioned something along the line of it no longer coming with it and that they were gonna phase out the menu, but he told us after we had ordered. Lastly, we were not offered refills on our water or soda as he was more focused on the football game on the screen. Onto the food we had the edamame with garlic and truffle oil. It was addictively good because of the saltines and the garlic flavor was very present, but what I didn't notice as much was the truffle. I would not let that deter you from ordering it as it was still very delicious and we finished the whole plate. They were out of the oysters when we came in, which was pretty unfortunate but we did end up getting the Shishito peppers as another side. In my opinion they needed a little bit of acidity and salt, but otherwise they were OK. The miso soup tasted fresh but it was lacking toppings. I got one little piece of tofu. The two rolls that we had were pretty fresh and that was the most enjoyable part of the meal we had the lemon roll and the Momo special. Our favorite of the two was the lemon roll. It was refreshing and the tuna melted in your mouth. The momo special was okay and this was the roll that was missing the sauce. The soju bottle did come in a cute little barrel bucket but unfortunately, even that wasn't cute enough to save the overall meal.

An Unforgettable Omakase Experience with Chef Garu Hands down one of the best sushi omakase experiences I've ever had. Chef Garu is truly a master of his craft. Every course was thoughtfully prepared, impeccably fresh, and beautifully presented. You can immediately feel the passion and precision behind each bite. Chef Garu takes the time to explain the fish, the sourcing, and the technique, which makes the experience feel intimate and special rather than rushed. The balance of flavors, textures, and temperature was flawless--each piece melted in your mouth and somehow outdid the last. This isn't just a meal; it's an experience. From the warm hospitality to the attention to detail, everything was elevated. If you're a true sushi lover or looking for a memorable omakase, Chef Garu is an absolute must. Worth every penny, and I can't wait to return

I forgot to take pictures but the meal was really yummy! I like that they don't use imitation crab Service was great! And the restaurant had a nice ambiance. I would go back again to try more of their food!

Always an amazing experience! The fish is amazing and the best I've ever had anywhere! We've eaten at Nobu too and this is such a special treat that I wish more people knew what a gem we have here!! As I eat the salmon, I close my eyes so that I can focus on the texture and taste of the fish. It takes me away from my stresses to just focus on this one piece of perfection! That's the gift here- Bliss Order anything and you'll be amazed how much better it is here than any other sushi place you've been! The inside is nice too they decorated for Christmas lol

Frist time here. The service was okay. We ordered a few different plates of fresh Sushi was very tasteful. Will definitely come back to try some other types of Sushi and Bento Plates. The prices were average. One of the better places in Riverside to eat fresh Japanese food.

It's such a good portion for $8.00 and nicely made. It's so fresh and you get that delicious savory taste from the sesame oil. But watch out cause they sell out :) I've been coming here for the past 25 years, ever since I was a little kid. It's an awesome mom-and-pop type of shop for your Korean grocery needs. Very chill area. The store might seem small but they got everything you need to make your own KBBQ night :) Banchan, kimchi, noodles to make japchae. You don't need to travel to the OC cause they are stocked with what you might need. And the store owners are really polite :) You can call ahead to see if they're stocked with kimbap or whatever other item you might be looking for. Check em out :)

My heart usually goes into arrest mode eating out these days. And Korean food has never been known…read moreto be low cost, ever, in my eyes. So, it wasn't until the other day, that I realized I could fulfill my Korean dream meal another way, a homemade meal. Of course, it helped that my daughter had already announced that she was making bbq beef, Korean style, and that we were invited over. That got my salivary glands going. What could I bring? This mom and pop market popped up on Yelp as being nearby, and happened to be a place I had driven by and ignored for too many years. They cater to Korean tastes and appeared to have exactly what I needed, unlike another, oversized Chinese-based grocery nearby where I manage to get lost, confused, and lose all focus, while trying to communicate with hand gestures to elusive store personnel. Usually its comic and I am a complete failure. I was totally unprepared for this, but I think I fell in love with Saet Byul the minute I stepped inside. The lovely lady at the cash register (owner?) spoke impeccable English and was so friendly and informative. There was limited but fresh, quality produce, items that are traditionally used in this type of cuisine. There were multiple, large freezers that lined the walls, full of ready-made appetizers, ready-to-eat frozen soups, and ready-to-cook, thinly sliced meats. Shelves upon shelves of exotic Asian sauces and so many other canned, dry, and preserved ingredients. The more I wandered, the greater my excitement. Towards the back of the tiny store was a small kitchen setup where another woman was busily working. On what, I can only guess, but she might have been assembing more packages of the freshly rolled kimbap (the healthy, Korean version of sushi) that were sitting on the cashier's counter. In one refrigerator cabinet was a wonderful variety of ready-to-eat banchan, each carefully labeled and dated. The banchan was exactly what I was looking for! I chose a container each of freshly made seaweed salad, pickled radish, kimchi, pickled cucumbers, snatched a tub of green tea ice cream, and a bag of super fresh bean sprouts that would eventually be anointed with toasted sesame oil. Then tossed a tray of kimbap in my cart (Imagine getting two full rolls,18 fat pieces, for a mere $7), plus a bag of shrimp crackers for good measure. Oh, and don't forget a large bag of toasted, seasoned seaweed sheets for snacking. The banchan was outstanding, but don't take my opinion as gospel. This came from my son-in-law who usually turns up his nose to such "time-wasters" as vegetables, especially things that look spicy. The pickle cucumbers and pickled radish coins were particularly addictive, but all were so wonderful. I am thrilled over this discovery. The only shortcoming, but not really, is the lack of a butchery section and fresh seafood. For that, the big markets are still the place to go. For the rest of the necessities, this is a real gem.
