Had a great time eating here while shopping around valley fair! I grew up eating Great Khan's back at oakridge malls so this did bring up good memories. It was short line on Saturday during peak lunch hour. You have the options of a small or large bowl. I got the large bowl and you can fill it up as much meat and veggies as much as you can. There's chicken, beef, pork, and beef brisket with veggies from cilantros, jalapeños, carrots, and broccoli. Before you ring out, there's a staff member who'll ask what sauces you want and pour them in for you. From there, you wait and enjoy the smell and sizzle of the grill. Took about 5 minutes for my order to be complete and it was so delicious!

Food was delicious.. this was my first time and I felt a. It lost. So you get your tray, the bowl. You pick the meat, veggies then they add the sauces you'd like and finally they cook it all serve you and you're on your way.. I feel it was bit over priced. Service was good , it went quick. It's in a food court. Plenty of seating. I do recommend and I'll definitely be back..

Mong q is a great spot in the mall and I'm glad I tried it. There's lots of options for veggies and things to add in your bowl. They cook the noodles in front of you, and thoroughly cleaned the cooking surface before cooking my noodles since I'm a vegetarian which was nice. It takes about 5 minutes to cook your food. The noodles were perfectly cooked and everything I added to the bowl tasted amazing too. The baby corns were my favorite addition. The flavors of the sauce tasted great together and I'd definitely eat here again.

Who remembers when there was a Mongolian BBQ spot at the food court in @westfieldvf ?? @mongq_valleyfair is bringing it back and better than ever! Now open for you to build your own bowl with your selection of meats and fresh ingredients. They even got Dubai Chocolate Strawberries for a nice sweet treat after. So happy and a great addition to the space! Service is also super friendly'!

The owner was friendly and the food was delicious. The owner told me a little bit of his back story and I truly appreciated it. The food was plentiful and could hardly fit in a To-go box

4 stars for it being mall food court cuisine, but personally wouldn't make a special trip for it. Takes the place of the vegan thai place that was in the 2nd floor main food court I like the concept- you order a regular or large bowl, and you add in whatever fits in your bowl, and they stir fry it in front of you. The meat is frozen and rolled up like at hot pot with chicken and beef options - they really do shrink up when stir fried, so get more than you think you need! Also plenty of vegetables and tofu to add in as well. You can then either get noodles or rice as your place. The noodles are stir fried with your bowl ingredients, but they just lop on your bowl on top of white rice. Not sure why not just stir fry the rice as well, which would be a bit better. 6 different sauces you can add on before stir frying- ie garlic, lemon juice, mongolian sauce. I only did the mongolian and the garlic and thought it was a bit spicy (I prefer zero spiciness...) while my husband did all 6 sauces and thought it was all too bland for him to ever want to go back. hahah there's also dubai chocolate strawberry thing for dessert. It does take a while of standing in line since they just stir fry a few at at time, and maybe because it's still pretty new.

Located on the second floor food court between Sarku and Koja. They offer two portion sizes, regular or large (with a $2 difference). You'll start by receiving a tray with an empty bowl, then head through the buffet line where you can pile on as much meat and veggies as you'd like. At the next station, a staff member will help you add toppings, sauces, and seasonings; just let them know how much or how little you want. After paying, your bowl is handed off to the final station, where your ingredients are cooked on a large, sizzling hot plate along with noodles. Also, it's nice that they clear off the sizzling plate by scraping it off between certain amount of meals so you don't get that burnt taste or bits in your meal. Service is quick and well-organized, especially impressive for a newer establishment. Definitely planning to return; it's a solid deal for a satisfying meal.

Great price for the amount you get and quick dining option for those who are shopping. Seating is limited because it's in the food court but overall we were not disappointed for the price we paid. Service was fast and staff were friendly.

Bagged noodles and over cooked veggies in the saltiest sauce youve ever had in your life.

Was excited to get a Mongolian place since there isn't anything local thats any good. Well add this to the not good list. 1st there are like 5 sauces. Korean BBQ, Mongolian, lemon pepper (water) and garlic I think soy.. Mongolian should have 10 to 12 individual sauces that you can add to your liking. Nope. Anyway on to the flat top. The person working the grill had NO idea what he was doing. He throws your veggies on and they just sit there getting over cooked. Then he adds some noodles from a bag and dumps "bbq" water all over it. There's so much salt that I'm looking at my swollen ankles and thinking definitely not worth it. It was not good. It wast worth the 20 bucks. No fountain soda only cans...Skip it all together and get something else. This place will not last long, I'll give it a yr. Disappointed.

There are two sizes of bowls to choose from to fill up. I chose the larger that came out to almost $20 after tax. Some meats were chicken, beef, and pork belly. It was a bit disappointing that they didn't have any lamb, imitation crab, or any kind of seafood. I filled up my bowl with meat and veggies. The worker added Mongolian sauce, chili oil, and garlic for me. The cook added the noodles. This is different from other Mongolian BBQ locations that let you pile up the noodles. This resulted in a smaller but acceptable portion. The flavor of everything was just ok. I wish they had siracha.

I am usually not a fan of food courts, but this Mongolian noodle place was so flavorful. It was a little too salty but I think that it was my fault for adding soy sauce. The food comes out piping hot because they cook it in front of your eyes and it is flavorful. You can add sriracha on the side but the fun part is stacking the bowl really high with all the meat, vegetable or whatever you wanted. I would go back here again

    make your bowl...

get in line...pick a bowl (regular or large)...pack your choice of meats, vegetables, toppings, sauces and more...as much as your bowl can fit...some people are professionals at piling on mountain high...pay the cashier and take your bowl to the cooks...a large bowl will cost about $20 after tax and tip...the cooks will empty on to a hot flat top to cook your item...pushed along to another staff to finish as other bowls are cooked...finished off by adding a mountain of noodles to be stir-fried into your creation...end up with a hefty container of food enough for 2...food is okay and very filling depending on how much you fill your bowl...

Yummy food! I thought the noodles wouldn't be seasoned enough with just one ladle of Mongolian sauce, but when I got the food, it's perfect! My only complaints are the bowl sizes and the price. The bowls are ramen bowls shaped like a u. So you cannot put a lot of meats or veggies. I just focused on added a lot of meat and then small amounts of veggies. Lol It kept on spilling onto the tray. I still had the guy cook what was on the tray. The large bowl isn't that much bigger. Lol It must have been a 2 ounce difference, but that doesn't matter since it isn't soup. I definitely recommend it if you don't mind eating mainly noodles.

When we walked in, no staff was out front, so we stood around a bit before we were seated. The staff quickly disappeared again, and throughout our meal, they were usually disappeared somewhere in the back. If you want something quick like extra utensils or napkins, you may need to wait a bit before someone appears. When ordering, we wanted to try both the Beef Buzz ($14.99) and the Fried Beef Buzz ($15.99). The lady who took our order said they were the same thing, and offered to just give us one half/half order instead of ordering two of essentially the same dish. We agreed to that offer, but she didn't mention anything about how that'll be charged. Of course, we ended up being charged the higher price of $15.99. Not a huge deal, but some better communication there would've been appreciated. We also ordered the Beef Huushuur ($14.99). The Beef Huuchuur arrived first, and it didn't look anything like we expected. The photos from online reviews all looked it'd come in an empanada shape, but it actually came in a large, flat, circular shape. They were all laying against one another in a slanted position, and it made all the oil pool in the bottom of the dish, and the pieces that were covered became very oily and soggy underneath. The parts of the dough that weren't soggy were wonderfully crispy and delicious though. It'd make a significantly better difference if the Huuchuur were placed spread out from each other instead of lying on top of each other to maintain the crispiness on all surfaces. The beef filling was nicely seasoned and well flavored. The Beef Buzz had essentially the same filling as the Huuchuur, but different exterior. Unfortunately, I still have the same opinions of it being way too oily overall. The non-fried pieces sometimes broke apart at the bottom due to the sogginess. The fried version did not have a crispy texture at the bottom either, I'm guessing due to the excess amount of oil on the dish. Again, the flavors were great, but execution and presentation definitely has room for improvement. In summary, this was a great introduction to Mongolian dumplings for me. Very delicious flavors, and I'd love to try Huuchuurs again in the future because I love crispy fried foods with a good texture. However, I'd probably look for a place that goes way more easy on the oil.

I didn't realized it would be deep fried and oily as hell. In my defense, this is the first time I've had this type of dumplings. I heard that's the way it should be so it just wasn't for me. I did enjoy the other dumplings though.
