It had a pesto sauce and sun-dried tomatoes, while my girlfriend ordered the grilled salmon and prawn risotto. My linguine was delicious. The pesto paired really well with the grilled prawns, and the sun-dried tomatoes added great flavor. As much as I enjoyed my pasta, the fried green beans were the star of the meal. They were crispy, flavorful, and easily my favorite thing we ordered. Unfortunately, my girlfriend wasn't a fan of the salmon and prawn risotto. She felt like the risotto didn't have flavor and the prawns weren't that good either. After we finished eating, we struck up a conversation with the bartender, who introduced himself as the restaurant's new owner. He mentioned that he had recently purchased the business. While I don't mind chatting with staff, the conversation with the owner became a little awkward. It wasn't anything intentionally rude, but it was enough that it changed the vibe of what had been a really enjoyable anniversary dinner. Even with that ending, this restaurant will always be meaningful to us because of the memories we've made here. We understood there was only one server working, so we tried to be patient. However, when we were ready to leave, we spent approximately 30 minutes trying to get the server's attention for our check. We repeatedly waved and made eye contact, but he never came outside. Eventually, I walked inside and handed him my card. His response was that they were "not serving the patio" and that he believed he had told us that beforehand. If that is the case, the patio should be closed or clearly marked as unavailable for service. Customers should not be seated, served food, and then ignored for the remainder of their visit. Unfortunately, the food did not make up for the service. The lamb was extremely tough, and the sausage served with the shrimp dish was also hard and overcooked. We're not the type to leave negative reviews, but this experience fell well below what should be expected from any restaurant. We hope management addresses both the service issues and food quality so future customers don't have the same experience.

I didn't taste my husband's coffee but he said it was nothing special. I also wanted to wash my hands when we got there. I asked for the restroom code but once I was inside, I wasn't too confident. The restroom looked like it hadn't had a thorough clean in a LONG TIME. Dirt. Grime. Mildew. I didn't want to touch anything after I washed my hands. Then when I came back out to the eating area, I started noticing all the dirt & grime & general untidiness of the whole place. I'm not a germaphobe, but I do want a place that's preparing food I'm going to eat to be clean. But every surface in this place was sticky or oily or dirty. We like to try local places when we travel, and it was recommended by the hotel, so we were pretty disappointed.
