I tried the seasonal lunch special, which is a $11.99 beef belly pho with unlimited refills - this was a very good deal. The bean sprouts and basil were very fresh. The broth was extremely oily but was still flavorful. It was filling and hearty. The service could be better. When seated, my table didn't get water cups. I noticed others got it as they were seated. I asked twice before receiving water cups. We asked about the unlimited refills and my waitress didn't explain how it worked and left us with "ok how many do you want?" The process wasn't obvious to us. Looked like it took a while to get the refill orders logged - perhaps they were short staffed? My party waited a while for the refills to come, to the point where our broth got cold. After inquiring about the status of the refills, the waitress defensively explained "I already put it in, you have to wait until it gets cooked." That response didn't put my party at ease because we still didn't know how much longer we had to wait. The manager later delivered the noodle refills and explained there were kitchen hiccups, likely in an attempt to de-escalate. The friendliness eased tension, a professional way of handling customer frustration. We ordered two more refills with him immediately and they arrived quickly. However, the dining experience still felt unorganized because two additional refills arrived at my table that were not previously requested. When it came time to paying the bill, the approach was also unclear. Some folks paid at the front so I waited there. The staff chilled in the back area and I couldn't get their attention, but later was told to pay at the table. I also heard gossiping in the room headed to the bathroom, and the staff quickly hushed when I passed by. It created an awkward, uncomfortable atmosphere. Overall, the price is good, flavor is there, and the unlimited noodle refills is a unique differentiator from other pho places. However, the service experience wasn't the best and I hope to see it improve for future visits.
