Check out this spot if you want food with FLAVOR. I ordered the Prince - it had a really good spicy kick and all of the flavors were balanced. The cool chickpeas with that sauce was a good compliment to the spicy chicken. At first I was worried about all the sauce, but it was perfect. The sweet date/coconut dessert was also just the right way to end the meal. If the portion were any bigger, it would be too much sweetness. I wish this business much success!!! So tasty! They didn't have all the protein options when I went but still had several choices. Went with the quinoa salad, chicken, and jalapeño chickpeas. I originally asked for the garlicky white sauce and the guy suggested adding the spicy sauce too, which was the right move! Checked this place out for lunch today while spending the day in Boston. Everything on the menu sounded good, and I had a hard time deciding between the Sultan and the Prince. Both have a base of yellow rice with jalapeño chickpeas and are topped with spicy harissa and white garlic sauce. The only difference between the two is the Sultan has lamb and the Prince has chicken. The guy at the counter was pretty helpful and offered to do a half serving of each protein. Yes, please! It was delicious and had the perfect amount of spice - just enough to feel a little burn, but not enough to make me need to chug water. I'd absolutely order again! read more

Paid a visit to this truck at the 2017 Salem Food Truck Festival. I'd never had Moroccan food before, so I was excited to try something different. I'm glad I did, I had a great, well-balanced meal. I loved the simplicity of the menu, you choose a protein, a base, sauce, and salad. I ordered the braised beef, a base of couscous, white garlic sauce, and the mix greens salad. Unlike some pictures others posted, the salad, beef, and couscous were not blended together but were kept separate. The beef was on top of the couscous, but the salad was kept separate. As trivial as this sounds, I'm not a great fan of couscous in my salad, and this allowed the salad to be dressed separately (more on this later). The braised beef was soft and tender. I had braised beef at home before, and this was on-par with home-cooked quality. The only difference is that at home we don't use Moroccan spices, and the amount of spice was perfect. I also quite enjoyed the garlic sauce too! They didn't skimp on it, and it didn't overwhelm the beef or its delicate blend spices. The couscous was cooked perfectly and is a nice alternative to rice. Even if you aren't feeling adventurous, not a bad choice if you're looking for a break from rice. The green salad was a pretty standard green salad, a nice, fresh addition to the meal, in contrast to the warm beef and couscous. It was also dressed ever so gently (raspberry vinaigrette, I believe). It was a little on the expensive side, but pretty on par with what I've come to expect from other food trucks. Finally, I'll say this: I am not really a fan of braised meat, but that doesn't take away from the home-cooked quality. I was planning on giving four stars but found nothing in my experience that would cost them a star. So, I'll swallow my pride, and award the five-star rating! read more

They offer a chipotle style experience where you add toppings as you go. We really enjoyed the lamb, although the chicken was still good. Prices are fair, and service was friendly and fast. Visited Mo'Rockin Fusion in the Boston Public Market this weekend and tried out the delicious lamb and chicken bowls! We got a lamb over rice with jalapeño chickpeas and a rotisserie chicken over couscous with beets. I do not even like beets but these were amazing! Everything was cooked to perfection. A good spot for a tasty lunch. Their bowls are DIY, where you choose from a good variety of a base grain, a protein, a 'salad' (items like beans or beets), and sauces, so you can customize it how you like. I went with the flavored rice, chicken, corn salad, and both the white garlicky sauce and the pineapple BBQ. Each component was good on its own and nicely spiced, but the sauces were to-die-for and made the meal delicious- you could put those sauces on a shoe and it would taste amazing. What a great addition to the Boston Public Market! The first think you notice when you walk by Mo'Rockin are the incredible scents of various spices. I had the tofu over rice with 1/2 beets and 1/2 jalapeno chickpeas, and at the suggestion of the owner I tried his bbq sauce (home made, and sweetened with fruits).
