Really disappointed with this location. I'm a fan of Mountain Mike's pizza, and decided to try out this location since it is closer to my home. I have been to the Fountain Valley location on multiple occasions, and while sometimes that location is understaffed, I have never received bad service or quality. I placed an online order for the luau chicken pizza and added jalepenos to the order. I chose a pick up time of 5:10pm. Upon arrival, there was a long line of patrons waiting to be served at the "Order Here" line. There was another area labeled " Takeout Order Pick Up". There were 4 associates working the registers and a handful in the kitchen making the pizzas. Not one of them acknowledged the line or gave any sort of customer service. Instead they carried on with side conversations and avoided eye contact. I waited at the Pick Up area for almost 10 minutes before an associate came over to ask if I was from Door Dash. I told her no, but that I had placed an order online for take out. She then told me I had to wait in the regular "Order Here" line for that- SUPER ANNOYING. To be honest, I think the staff was feeling very overwhelmed by the amount of customers they were servicing, and was just trying to make it easier on them, however it left a super bad impression on me. In addition, I got home with my pizza to discover they had forgotten the jalepenos I had paid extra for. Not cool. Won't be returning to this location read more

I never thought I would say this about a chain restaurant, but Mountain Mike is quickly becoming my favorite pizza. Perfect pepperoni, great crust, just surprisingly good. This sides are mediocre, what you would expect from a chain, but the pizza, value, and convenience more than make up for it. read more

Stopped in for a quick lunch and had slices of the veggie pizza, as well as slices of the ham and pineapple and the sausage. All were tasty, especially the veggie! Well were do I start. Mountain Mikes is the worse Pizza I've ever had and that's saying a lot because I've had Little Caesar's before. Ask yourself this would you pay $17.99 for a pizza with an identity crisis. The crust can't decide to be thin or thick. I was very disappointed. We got the vegetarian and sausage pizzas. The crust was very hard and dry - cardboard-like. The cheese was not good and the pizza needed more sauce. And they gave us ranch dressing with the pizza. Why?! read more

Really good pizza. Love that you can order thin or regular crust. Thin crust pepperoni was great. Pikes Peak has so much meat on it, the regular crust was perfect! Both came delivered hot. Had Mountain Mike's many years ago in San Diego and it was good so I had to check it out when it came to town. The Everest is the perfect combo pizza! I think what really stands out is the freshness and quality of the ingredients and toppings. I usually go for New York Style pizza or deep dish but this was a nice change and totally satisfied my pizza cravings. I also recommend the cookie pizza. Will definitely order again! read more

So I went in around 7:30 this 4th of July. And to this young girl named Paloma was yelling at the employees that all customers are to eat outside as they were getting ready to close! She continued to yell and berate the employees in front of customers! I was appalled! I would not want my kids to work there! What a horrible role model this young girl is! I believe she is the manager! I will not be returning to mountain mikes! She yelled about how the customers can not eat inside (cause they were getting ready to close). Well it was 7:30 and the place closes at 8:00. This creates bad moral in a workplace!! She is very unprofessional and should be fired ! read more

I grew up in the Bay Area on this pizza. When I heard they opened one in Costa Mesa I couldn't believe it. I ordered a pizza for delivery without telling my husband because I wanted his honest opinion. He loved it! I think it will be our Friday night dinner every week. I wanted to share that this place is excellent!! For anyone who is looking to eat locally, Mountain Mike's is the best place to eat! The staff are very friendly and I received my freshly made food warm. It takes a little waiting but the food is worth it! Thought we'd try a new pizza plAce for once. After waiting for my pizza and garlic sticks for an hour and a half, it was lukewarm when I got it. The crust is very tough. I asked for light sauce and it was virtually swimming in sauce. Then there was a hair in the garlic sticks. Strike three. Never again read more

We ordered through GrubHub. The order was right on time, the pizza was hot and the salad was chilled. The veggies in the salad were fresh, which is rare from a pizza place. A medium pizza was just right for two and we had leftovers. The price was reasonable, we've found the costs are just ridiculous with some places now. Good food, good service, good value. read more

Finally got to try this spot. Pizza was pretty good. It kind of reminded me of Shakeys Pizza (which I grew up on as a kid). Boneless wings weren't the greatest though.
