Pathetic pizza product. Love pizza, Costa Mesa has at least three excellent providers. Mountain Mike's is not one of them. With outstanding competition all around I was surprised how poorly made was my 14" sausage and mushroom pizza. I have had several frozen pizza's that are superior to Mike's. Mountain Mike's has excellent pizza and service. We have tried and loved Everest and Sizzling Bacon Classic pizzas and they were both 5 star pizzas. Try their garlic cheese bread. You won't be disappointed. We have our new pizza place. read more

Pizza was not so good. Customer service was great and the delivery guy was cool. The ingredients just tasted frozen almost and for what they charged it was disappointing. With a ton of other pizza places in the area this one may be more on the level with a Pizza Hut. I guess it is a chain/franchise so that somewhat makes sense. I am SO HAPPY they opened a mountain mikes in Costa Mesa. We used to live in Fresno and loved going to mountain mikes there. This is our go-to pizza spot. The pizza is always amazing and I just LOVE the little pepperonis. The crust is also wonderful. I wish the garlic bread had a little bit more cheese and flavor but it's still yummy. read more

We had pizza and boneless wings. Somehow, with absolutely nobody but us in the restaurant, it took 45 minutes to get our food. Pizza was average at best, not bad, but not as good as Pizza Bakery or Massimo's down the street. Boneless wings were good enough. The server apologized for our wait but she really didn't seem to care. If the food is going to take that long they should at least warn you at the time you place your order. I was so excited that a mountain mikes finally opened here. I used to work at the one in lake forest and have cravings for MM all the time. The crust and the little pepperonis are exactly how I remember them. Everyone working there has been great and I haven't had to wait to long.... but I did order the veggiemore twice now and neither time did it have the fresh tomato slices on top... even after reminding them that it was supposed to have them. First time there was no tomatoes and the second time they were the diced tomatoes. Disappointed about that, but I'll keep giving them a chance since I love mountain mikes! read more

I really wish I could give 0 stars to this place. Worst customer service. Ordered a HUGE amount of food and after 40 minutes of waiting- we asked why it was taking a bit and how much longer. Their response was "idk how much longer- the back is a mess right now." And we requested a refund as we were waiting 50 minutes by then and the manager was not available for a refund. So we were told 10 minutes- 30 minutes later still no manager for a refund. Our order was over 100 dollars. This is not something we could walk away from and come back for. So it was not handled well at all. Do not come here to eat. Apparently it's a mess in the back. read more

Best pepperoni pizza I've ever had. Ordered it with the thin crust option. I think that's a good call. It was still thicker than most thin crust options but I'd do the same again. Once it opened, I was worried after reading some of the horror stories here on Yelp about people waiting 2-3 hours to get their pizza, but that didn't happen to us. Same ol' Mountain Mikes you're used to in other cities (a good thing!). Very generous with the toppings and cheese which I like. I ordered a few pizzas online and 2 hrs later nothing was delivered. I called the store and once someone finally answered, they told me my order would probably be delivered. And then hung up. I called again and the kitchen messed up and the food wasn't made. They comped my order but I have to wait another 2 hrs. They have some kinks to work out. read more

This location is bad, I love Mountain Mike's as a company but this location has bitter employees . They didn't bring everything out until really late and then it was cold which was kinda surprising since it took so long, the staff wasn't rude or anything but I shouldn't have received cold food that was obviously reheated and lied to that it was new. I don't mind them reheating my food but don't lie about it saying its new. Also it really seemed like they didn't want to take a pizza order because they would walk around acting like nobody was waiting at the counter. Yeesh read more
