One piece of advice: arrive a little before Happy Hour begins at 3:00 p.m. If you wait until then, you'll likely find yourself several people deep in line. Don't let that discourage you. Embrace it, because once you're seated you'll quickly discover that the wait was well worth it. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices--especially during Happy Hour--are outstanding. The Atlantic specializes in oysters, and their Happy Hour runs daily from 3:00-6:00 p.m., including weekends. We began with a Chopped Caesar Salad ($9). Every ingredient was crisp, fresh, and flavorful--a simple dish executed exactly as it should be. Next came the oysters: a dozen Rockefeller and a dozen Pacific. The Rockefeller oysters were everything you would expect from this classic preparation--rich, savory, and baked beautifully. The Pacific oysters, however, completely stole the show. Each oyster was topped with a delicious combination of chorizo sausage, pepper jack cheese, and seasonings before being baked to perfection. They were bold, flavorful, and easily my favorite item of the afternoon. I also ordered the Double Stack Cheeseburger ($7), and what a terrific value. The burger arrived piping hot, loaded with melted cheese, and accompanied by a generous serving of crispy fries. It's hard to imagine finding a better burger at that price anywhere along the Oceanfront. My wife ordered the pork, shrimp, and kimchi dumplings served with a chili crunch and ponzu sauce that tied the entire dish together beautifully. She jokingly threatened to drink the remaining sauce after finishing the dumplings (she didn't), but she did convince me to dip one of my fries into it. She was absolutely right--it was fantastic. In fact, I now regret turning down the dumpling she generously offered me. Part of the fun of dining here is watching Shuck-Master Slim work. He's not only remarkably skilled but entertaining as well, adding a little personality to an already enjoyable experience. From the fresh seafood to the outstanding value and friendly atmosphere, this was another memorable visit to the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. If you haven't been to The Atlantic on Pacific, I highly recommend adding it to your list. You'll be glad you did, and you can rest assured that you're helping support one of our outstanding local restaurants.

We started with drinks and everyone enjoyed their cocktails and wine selection. Next were the starters of peel and eat shrimp and a selection of oysters. The shrimp were a good size and cooked to perfection. They came with drawn butter, cocktail sauce and extra horseradish on the side. My main was the roasted beet salad which was plentiful and flavorful. The addition of a fried goat cheese ball on the side was delicious. Others enjoyed hush puppies, lobster roll, and sashimi. All were enjoyed with rave reviews. The restaurant is a nice size, not too big and not too small. The noise level was decent as we could still have a conversation even at the bar.

Lager Heads GOOD:…read moreThe burgers and fries, the service was also wonderful. BAD: Not much, a little pricey but if you stick to the sandwiches, given it's beach town, the value is reasonable. Other menu items get into the 30s quick and appetizers are steep. Lager Heads was on the agenda from some restaurant research. Iam glad I tried it - the burger felt like a 1/2 pounder, juicy and seasoned, yet still cooked perfect. The fries are seasoned, very crispy and came with the burger which I liked. They had a great line up of burgers, I'd love to try another. The Knockout burger was fantastic, but the Cowboy burger on texas toast sounded great as well. You'll quickly leave the 17 to 20 dollar range if you leave sandwiches, but the service, the portions, and the quality make it worth a treat. It was February, so I couldn't partake in what looked like great outdoor seating. That's something else I'd like to try if I returned in the summer.

We were able to seat anywhere we chose the booth hightop where we had a perfect view of the ocean water and we even saw dolphins passing through while are stay. The atmosphere is perfect for that more intimate experience for lunch and dinner and the light decor was nice and unique with cozy seating with perfect views of the ocean water . We came during restaurant week this spot was very good from the service the space and food we did their $20 lunch menu which included appetizers and entrees portions were definitely worth the option they had. I did the Caesar salad, a nice light salad surprisingly to start off with the entrée which was their burger and that burger was well seasoned well prepared delicious it's honestly my favorite will be back again for it during the summertime or another dine in plus you can do either the lunch or dinner option anytime during restaurant week the only difference is dinner gives you a dessert and that is $35 per person. The drink was a good choice to pair with our food. my favorite was their orange crush a perfect classic for the beach. Definitely a drink to have in the summer if you want a good crush they got an option with different flavors I did the original orange crush which was light and sweet. Overall a good start to restaurant week and trying something different.

5 stars on any scale - perfect for your next special occasion !…read more Dress code is minimal: No hats, and sleeves for gentlemen. Short sleeves are fine. Valet parking onsite, and plenty of free parking available just across the street as well. TY to the valet for allowing hubby to self-park his Harley in the valet lot. :-) Beautiful and welcoming, formal and fine, yet with an unstuffy vibe. Very attentive but not overbearing staff who acknowledged our Anniversary in 3 different ways: upon welcoming, a lovely hand-signed card at the table, and surprise comp dessert. In a lifetime of worldwide foodie living, the Rockfish Curry was among the BEST and most memorable entrees I have ever experienced. Just the accoutrements alone were delectable, and the plump fish and 3 shrimp accented the incredible umami of the entire dish. I'm sure the other succotash option is also a fine choice, but I'm hooked on this one! You can literally SEE the layers of flavor and texture in the photo. Hubby is a steak lover, and his ribeye was cooked to Med Rare perfection with zero gristle to leave behind. The mashed potatoes...so creamy. Pair them with the slight up charge on Asparagus! Highly recommend the Potsticker app w/6 generous and flavorful pieces cooked to perfection. (Forgot to take the photo upon service- oops!) Very generous portions on everything: a table for 2 near us ordered both the Potstickers and Charcuterie, which was so plentiful IDK how they would have had room for anything else after those. :-) The homemade baguette and focaccia...MUST try them with the butter, which somehow was the most creamy and delicious. Yes...just the butter alone is memorable! Chocolate lovers must try the Flourless Torte! The gift bite sizes we received were just enough, since we had also ordered the legendary "OMG Carrot Cake" to go. We will remember what our server told us about Wagyu Wednesdays, when all Wagyu entrees are half price. Whaaattt?!? Can't wait to return and enjoy some of those with family! Our server, Matt, was incredibly friendly and welcoming, setting the tone for an amazing night. We started with the Zoe's Rockefeller and sea scallops - both were absolutely delicious and got us so excited for the main course. For dinner, we shared the 16 ounce Meyer ribeye. It was cooked to absolute perfection, topped with a rich truffle demi-glaze, and served with velvety, Boursin whipped potatoes and seasonal veggies. We also added the grilled asparagus with truffle Bernaise. Everything was so phenomenally flavorful that we found ourselves eating slowly just to savor every single bite - we honestly didn't want it to end! The entire staff deserves a shout out; the service was excellent, and you can tell they work together in perfect tandem. We are so glad we celebrated our special night here we highly recommend Zoe's and cannot wait to come back.

There's also a parking garage right across the street as well. You have to pay to park in both areas. The Shack is a fun, outdoor space that serves food and drinks. They specialize in the infamous 'Orange Crush' and they also have a DJ on certain days as well. As soon as we arrived, we ordered our food and grabbed drinks. I ordered the Chicken Caesar Wrap and my daughter decided on the Grilled Chicken Skewers. While we waited, we grabbed our drinks. The bartender was very nice and the Creamsicle Crush was absolutely amazing!!! It didn't take too long for our food to be served. It did start to rain while we were out there but thankfully, there was seating with large umbrellas so we didn't get wet. I enjoyed my Chicken Caesar Wrap and the Grilled Chicken Skewers were very good. While we ate, the DJ played some good hits as well. Overall, we had a great time! Even though it did rain, we enjoyed ourselves and we'll definitely be back.

My only small issue is I wish it was adult only experience. While there someone with a crying baby was also there and it dampened the mood. I get it mom and dad wanted a drink too but maybe they should pick somewhere more children friendly next time.
