First time for lunch, really good lunch specials. Tyler, our server, was excellent in all respects. Food was excellent, no leftovers for once. Definitely will be requesting Tyler.

Haitian-Owned and absolutely delicious they fixed our order after the wrong crabs came. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Love the ambiance as well and the Mr and Mrs Crab sauce (hot) is the way to go If you love spicy[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] . The sausages and potatoes and corn and an egg. all 10/10 and a side of garlic butter. You're welcome

My family and I have had Mr. and Mrs. crab at a different location north of Tampa and decided to try out the Bradenton location this past weekend. We ordered a variety of items, including the king crab, shrimp head off, lobster, mussels, sausage, and also added extra potato and corn. We asked for our food to be prepared with the blend of all seasonings and to be made spicy. The food was absolutely phenomenal. The seafood tasted very fresh and the food came out sizzling, to our liking. I seriously cannot express how delicious the meal was and we definitely ordered over ordered but we're so happy with the variety that we got. Additionally, the service was very good. Our waitress even surprised us with a bottle of seasoning to go! I can't wait to come back!

I started with the blazing hot crawfish which were priced less than the average appetizer. I then went with the combo meal of blue crab, shrimp and sausage: It was very good. There are two issues for the those who are aficionados first the crab size was too small. Second the crabs were freshly cooked and did not sit in the garlic sauce overnight. But these are fine points The atmosphere is buzzing as you walk in. Happy hour is from open to 5 PM and from 8:30 - 10 which is closing time. The staff is very chill and friendly despite the looks. You will see what I mean. Changes to set meals are fine. The pricing is not outrageous. It's not cheap - you are ordering seafood!

10/10 recommendations for the Mr and Mrs crab sauce! So yummy! Can't wait to go again. The peach tea drink was not to my liking but the Crab-a-Rita was good! I got the mango flavor. The server was knowledgeable but not many options for my vegetarian husband. Maybe they should add rice, and noodles to the menu and more veggies. Perhaps take it up a notch with tofu or something. He ended getting just fries, boiled potatoes, corn and eggs.

As usual, everything was awesome. Our bartender/ server was also amazing. The only disappointment was the raw oysters were small, but tasty

We grabbed reservations for the outdoor area to enjoy the weather and were thankful for the shady tree cover. This time we opted for some bites and though the menus change seasonally, I would recommend anything featuring tomatoes. They use truly fantastic heirloom tomatoes that remind you what you're missing with the watery ones we get at the grocery store. Also recommend the Mediterranean Platter. It's full of veggies and the dips are YUM. As usual, the cocktails didn't disappoint. It's never a weekend in AMI without a visit here! Previous Review: 5 Stars for the best cocktails on AMI, and a craft cocktail bar vibe you wouldn't necessarily expect here. (Plus, the service is AMAZING) We walked in (no reservation) after dinner one weekend evening and we were greeted by Matt, who found us a spot at the bar. He gave us menus and a "wellness shot" -- delicious little concoction to wet your palate! Right away I was blown away by the interior and the menu. This looked like it belonged somewhere in Denver or Chicago, but I was thrilled to find it on the island! Matt helped guide us to drinks we'd like on the menu. I ordered the Purgatory, made up of Bourbon, chocolate bitters, agave and premium mezcal. It was divine!! We also ordered some warmed olives, and they were hot and so fragrant. Definitely something I'd order again at the bar. I was stoked to see they have a veggie-specific section on the food menu and can't wait to go back for dinner. I'll definitely make a reservation though, as it was pretty full. Next time, in terms of drinks, I have my eyes on the espresso martini (off menu, but saw a pic on Yelp), and the kiss kiss bang bang. Thanks to Matt and Emily who helped us with our drinks along the way. Sometimes these fabulous craft bars can be pretentious, but the service here was a huge standout. Can't wait to return!

She was bright, effervescent, eager to please, extremely knowledgeable about every drink and food item on the menu, always present when needed but never hovering. She has perfected her craft and it made for a wonderful experience. The menu is written with flair and verve, and every offering seems irresistible. We wanted to try everything, but of course couldn't, so we made do with a couple of their signature cocktails (wonderful), a flatbread appetizer (also wonderful) and the very delicious meat loaf and the gemelli pasta entrees. I 10 out of 10 in every respect. We were quite concerned that we were the only patrons in the restaurant during our entire meal. It was early on a Tuesday evening in low season, but still. I hope more folks discover Wink Wink as it would be a shame to lose such a treasure. I would think they might want to consider offering a happy hour to boost things a bit. On the other hand, they could be doing very well and we just hit an off night. Go. Try it. The whole experience will be very entertaining with the art and whimsy of the decor and the menu. Service was awesome too. We got there right when they opened so it was just me and my mom at first and the guy at the bar made it easy and fun. The vibe feels a bit on the fancier side, but it's still chill, a perfect spot for date night or just taking cute photos. No hidden entrance or secret password that we could see and street parking is available. No wait during the day. It's not the cheapest spot, but honestly worth it for the drinks and the aesthetic. I'd love to go back and try more of their craft tails sometime!

Unfortunately, this experience went from disappointing to downright concerning…read more I do want to distinguish between the two bartenders working. The younger bartender was nice, pleasant, and welcoming. The older gentleman behind the bar, however, was a completely different experience. He came across as rude and was essentially barking orders at guests about how he would take our orders. For a place positioning itself as an upscale cocktail experience, that attitude set the wrong tone immediately. Unfortunately, the drinks didn't make up for it. My espresso martini was mediocre at best. My friend had the lemon drop, which was equally lackluster. Then came the $30 smoked Old Fashioned, which should have been impressive at that price point but was incredibly disappointing. We were also told they infuse their own vanilla into the vodka. Whatever they're using or doing with it, the end result tasted incredibly cheap --not remotely what I'd expect from a premium cocktail program. Then there's the condition of the place itself. There was a wrapped pipe dripping water onto/near a lounge bench, chipped and peeling paint on the walls, and obvious signs that preventive maintenance is desperately needed. The space simply wasn't aesthetically pleasing or maintained at the level the prices and concept would suggest. But it actually got worse when I went to the bathroom. Part of the ceiling appeared to be falling down, water was actively dripping into a bucket, and there was visible dark growth on the ceiling tile that looked like mold. At that point, my concern went well beyond décor. If you're going for an upscale speakeasy experience take a look at The Doctor's Office. That's the kind of atmosphere, presentation, and attention to detail I associate with this concept. When you're charging $30 for a cocktail, expectations are naturally going to be high. I expect excellent drinks, professional hospitality, and a well-maintained environment. Aside from the younger bartender, who was genuinely pleasant, this experience missed the mark across the board.

Located between the edge of where the resort pool ends and where the beach begins. It's sits on the 2nd floor past Riva as you head towards the beach. The lazy river is right below Oshen. We stopped by here after breakfast at Riva on our first day just to check out the stunning space. They open daily at 4-10pm so it was closed when we stopped by but still open where you can check it out in the open space. There's a bar in the middle and lounging seats and small tables surrounding the bar. We decided to sit at the edge with the perfect spot of the beach. The perfect spot to watch the sun set. We sat and chilled for a bit enjoying the view and amazing breeze. Came back for dinner around 6:30pm. Wanted to secure a nice spot to watch the sunset. Many of the lounge seats were taken as these are mainly first come, first serve. Then they start putting "reserve" signs on the tables. We opted for a nice spot at the bar overlooking the beach. Not perfect but good enough in the shade with a lovely breeze. Our bartender was Liam and he was very hospitable. He welcomed us and was attentive the entire duration of our dining experience. Thanks Liam for the awesome service. Here is everything we ordered: * Borodino Fizz $23 * G Sake Gek Black Gold $11 * Tuna Ceviche $25 * Chicken Teriyaki Bowl $25 * Wagyu Lomo Saltado $36 * Hamachi A La Brasa $28 We ordered cocktails to start. Hubby had sake and I got something different, Borodino Fizz. My drink was "a bold and bubbly mix of peppercorn-infused Cor Cor Japanese Red Label rum, coconut shrub, fresh lime, and spicy ginger beer. Tropical heat with a zesty kick." Surprisingly good. Not what I usually drink but I liked it. Food was exquisite and presentation for everything was on point. I asked for Sriracha and Liam introduced us to their homemade Kimchi Sriracha. Oh em gee!!! So delish. They basically mix kimchi in Sriracha and it was amazing. I'm totally making this at home. Ha. TUNA CEVICHE: nikkei leche de tigre, cilantro, onion, crispy corn, quinoa furikake, shrimp cracker. Flavors were great but not a ton of food. Loved the crispy corn, quinoa furikake and eating the tuna on the shrimp crackers. WAGYU LOMO SALTADO: wagyu striploin A5, crab salad, avocado, lomo saltado sauce, crispy sweet potato. Damn good!!! Lots of good texture with the crispy toppings, don't even know what it was. Haha. Great combo of flavors! CHICKEN TERIYAKI BOWL: edamame, seaweed tempura, sesame seeds, sushi rice, quinoa furikake, daikon, carrot. We don't usually order chicken at a Japanese restaurant but this seemed the heartiest out of everything we ordered. It was a good portion and the sushi rice with the chicken, edamame, veggie shavings and white corn was just enough. HAMACHI A LA BRASA: torched hamachi, anticucho sauce, baby gem, snow crab, chimichurri, garlic, scallion. We were still a bit hungry after eating the other 3 items so decided to order something else. We only had breakfast so we were hungry. The hamachi had so much flavor and hit the spot. Really tasty. All in all, Oshen is a wonderful dining experience between the incredible views, cocktails and fresh sushi options. Service is amazing, as only expected with the whole St Regis luxury level of service. Beautiful space with good eats! Go see Liam and tell him we sent you.

The setting, to its credit, is spectacular. The sunset view alone makes the visit feel special; there are few spots that can compete with that kind of atmosphere. Drink-wise, the cocktails are intense--basically rocket fuel--and priced accordingly. If you're looking for something a bit gentler, the mocktails are surprisingly good and feel more thoughtfully balanced. I haven't tried the food myself, but I've consistently heard positive things, which makes me curious to come back. Where Oshen really struggles is service. It's spotty at best, and at worst... just slow. Getting your first drink usually happens in a reasonable amount of time, but ordering a second round or even just flagging down the check can take much longer than it should.
