I first visited me noodle in college and decided to come back 10 years later. Service is great here super friendly and prompt! They have a pretty extensive menu with lots of noodle choices with a heavy focus on Thai! I'd say the food itself isn't the most authentic, but portions are large and tasty! I love the orange chicken and chow mein. The chicken is heavily breaded and has a very sweet sauce, the chow mein uses ramen noodles so it's not what you'd expect but still tasty! Interior of this location is nice, but a bit tight as the building is smaller in size. The service was not bad as the workers were quick to seat us but didn't come around to check up on us. Hong Kong Beef Stew Noodles 3.5/5 - This was not bad, but the meat was lacking. I felt like the ratio of fat to beef was not so good as there was much more fat than beef. However the soup and noodles were good. I'm not sure if I would get this again, I would get something else next time. I don't know why I keep giving this place the benefit of the doubt but they keep messing up. If they can find away to get over on you they will. I order the green bean with Shrimp and extra chicken. They charge me for the additional for the Shrimp and charge me extra for the chicken. However...the only good dish out of the four plates we got was the yellow curry. It's a bit salty, and I think they add some nontraditional ingredients to it. However, the target audience are college students who are are craving some Asian brothy soups and I think it caters to just that! Also, the portions overall were great for the price paid. My only complaint was that the noodles were a bit dry, and could have been more moist. The Pad Kee Mau came with a generous portion of Beef, it was well flavoured, and not too salty. My partners only complaint is that some of the noodles were clumped together which made it a little difficult to eat. If you are in the West LA area and craving Thai, this is a great place to go. Glad it has survived the pandemic, because it offers decent, inexpensive Thai food that's sure to fill you up. I usually get the Pad Thai, but I decided to get the green curry on my recent visit. Just the right amount of spice and ample chicken, although I will say the eggplant was terribly undercooked-- not very appetizing biting into nearly-raw eggplant, but the rest was solid. Total came under $20 (including jasmine tea and tips). I can see why it's convenient for college students-- not to forget literally next door to the famous Diddy Riese!
