Looked up sandwich shops, and this little gem popped up. Walked in and the place was very neat and clean. Was greeted right away, I ordered the Mr Pickle, sammie size on the Dutch bread and was very pleased. It was the perfect size and tasted delicious. I work at Door Dash. I came to pick up the order for the customer. I asked the girl at the front to pick up the order. She told me that the order wasn't ready yet. I have to wait. I waited for about 20 minutes. During that time, the staff served everyone who came in after me. As a result, this girl remembered about me and took my order out of the fridge. In other words, my order has been ready for a long time. I conclude that the staff at this restaurant is completely unprofessional, because because of their slowness and stupidity, our customers will receive orders late. read more

This is a great Mr. Pickles shop. The employees are so friendly. When we got there, there was no line. I ordered the BBQ tri tip on dutch crunch with everything and jalapenos. My sandwich was made fast and I was off to the table to eat it. The dutch crunch had a crispy and crunchy top. The trGREAT i tip beef was cook perfectly and the barbecue sauce not too sweet. It was a good choice to add the jalapenos, as it help cut the sweetness of the sauce. There was a lot of veggies inside, as they kept falling out with each bite. It was SO dry that it all but turned to dust in my mouth (most of it fell to the paper, as the photo displays). Now, it can't go without saying that Dutch Crunch is obviously crunchy by nature. I placed an order through Grubhub for pick-up and it unfortunately defaulted to this location which is further than my house than a closer location. I was extremely bummed because I was so excited to have their sandwich for lunch and haven't had their food in a long time. It used to be a staple in my house - getting Mr. Pickle's every week in my hometown. I made a mistake and should have confirmed the location but things happen and people make mistakes. I called the shop to explain the situation and that I would contact Grubhub to cancel and sort this out. Whoever answered the call at Mr. Pickle's was EXTREMELY rude. He was immediately concerned about eating the cost and how it wasn't fair to him that I made a mistake. Don't get me wrong, all valid concerns. However, there is a way to communicate with people. Being hostile and angry with someone is NOT going to change the situation. When someone already feels bad for making a mistake, you don't get what you want by kicking them when they are already down. Being upset wasn't going to change any factors and suddenly make me able to go pick-up my order. You also don't know what people are going through. You don't know what happened right before. I'm sure I'm not the first person who has ordered from the wrong location and I won't be the last, because people MAKE MISTAKES. I called Grubhub and they took care of everything and let me know they have ways of compensating the restaurants when these things happen (because they do). I even told them they don't need to cancel the order to make sure that the shop is paid. However if your store still feels that you were not fairly compensated please feel free to DM me and I will let Grubhub know that you were not and go down to your location this afternoon to pay for my order. read more

I had such a nice experience at this Mr. Pickles location. I came in last Sunday to get food to go, to bring home for the family. Two sandwiches and a salad. The sandwiches were made quickly as it was pretty quiet in the shop, and my salad somehow appeared in the bag without me even seeing that go down. I got a Caesar salads and actually really enjoyed it, for a salad haha. The sandwiches were reported to be delicious and made just how they were requested. We each got a cookie, and they gave us napkins, dressing, etc. The best part was the customer service. Both of the guys were pleasant, even nice, for the whole time. Major win. I used to have a Mr. Pickles where I live, so someone got me a gift certificate for sandwiches, and then about a month later they closed. I STILL had that certificate in my wallet, so I asked if it could still be used even though it said "must be used at the location it was purchased at", because the location had closed. The man ringing me up really looked at it, pondered, and said "well, it does say it has to be used at that location. Maybe I could get corporate to reimburse you for the money." I was like "no, that's totally fine! I saw that it said it had to be the same location, I just thought I'd ask since my location closed and I can't use it there anymore. I really don't mind just tossing it." He says, "well, yeah, I can't apply it here.... but how about I give you 15% off?" I thought that was so kind. He didn't have to do that, but he went above and beyond for the weird situation. That is how you do it in the customer service world, my friends! My kids and I went in today to Mr. Pickles in Loomis on Taylor road. The new owner Mark was cleaning the dining room when we came in. It was after 3:00 and they close at 4:00 pm. He was happy to serve us. Told me he has just taken ownership about 3 weeks ago. The place sure looked clean and inviting. The woman who served us was very patient with taking our orders, and smiling the whole time! We didn't know what we wanted exactly as we aren't familiar with the menu. We decided to get 1/2 sandwich and house salad combos which came with a drink too for $8.99. We could have dined in, but we had decided beforehand to take the order to go. Mark said that they do catering as well, which is good to know as my kids are in High School and have many activities where a tray of sandwiches would feed a hungry crowd. The 1/2 sandwiches were chock full of ingredients. I ordered a sandwich with pastrami and bacon and cream cheese. The bread was fresh tasting. I ordered the wheat roll. Delicious! The 1/2 sandwich and salad were plenty for each of us. Both my teenagers loved their sandwiches, even my picky daughter! The lettuce and fixings in the salads were very fresh. They give you plenty of dressing. On the side not included with the meal we got some fresh baked chocolate chip cookies. They were very good actually! I was surprised how good they were! This is one of their best locations! (I think I have been to 4 and I live in LA!!) I LOVE their sandwiches and where I live we have access to quite a few options. I also love all the friendly people who work here and, dare I say it, the ambiance? For some reason this location always seems like a happy place to be. God forbid an employee actually like their job but I think these guys do!!! Very reasonable prices (under $8 in most cases) PARKING! ;) (You guys take this for granted!) and a funny man dancing with a sign. hahahah! Some of the other locations are not that good. I've been to this Mr. Pickles probably in excess of 50 times. We order lunch in at work for certain events often and this Mr. Pickles is one of our go to's! I can call in a 10 sandwich order and they have it ready when I need to pick it up. So, about their sandwiches, they are, by far, the best sandwich out there!! For you mean who care, their bread to meat ratio is about 4 to 1! You won't find that anywhere! Their salads are also off the charts! One chef salad can feed two! However, the guys behind the counter are really hustling!!! They are busy heaping toppings on top of the bread like nobody's business. One of the things that is unique about this location is that they also serve ice cream. I have been a fan of Mr. Pickle's for a few years but only within the last year started going to this location in Loomis. I love the customer service at this store. The owner seems to be there everytime I'm there and he's very nice and wants to make his customers happy. I had a mix up with one of my sandwiches and didn't realize it until I got back to work. I drove back and told them what happened and he gave me a new sandwich as well as a giftcard for my troubles. After that, I was sold on this store location and have gone here for all my sandwich needs! The other workers there are also very nice and I've never had a bad experience. read more

This review is strictly based on the stores customer service as I wasn't actually able to try the food. I'm new to the community and wanted to patronize the business after meeting the owner while doing a fundraiser for my sons football team. I went in with my youngest (disabled) son toting him in his car seat along with his feeding bag and diaper bag full of medical supplies, ordered my sandwich and went to pay for it and a drink and chips. It was about 9 dollars total and all I had was either a check or 100 dollar bill to pay. The kid behind the counter was pretty unapologetic and pointed to a sign saying they didn't accept anything over 20 dollar bills. His suggestion was that I lug my son and all his stuff to another restaurant to break the large bill then come back. Terrible suggestion. When I said I wouldn't be back I got a shrug. So much for small town hospitality, clearly they're doing well enough to not care about new business. Too bad. read more

Worst experience today and the way the store and corporate choose to handle it was even worse. Tried placing an order online. They definitely got my money twice but no order place. Called the store and the person who answered was so uninterested in the issue. He was quick to tell me there was no order but didn't have a clue how to refund my money to me.
