Came here on a whim once my office moved down the street from where Mr. Pollo is located. My boyfriend already told me it was a great place for lunch so I went in with high expectations. I ordered a chicken sandwich because I couldn't decide and was next up in line. I'm excited to go back and try more. But, the chicken sandwich was GREAT. I opened up my box and the first thing I said was "woah" because there was a huge pile of chicken, tomatoes, lettuce and some really great sauce. The fries I got (I know, I should've gotten the yucca) were filling up any other definable space in the container and for $8 I got more than my money's worth. There's so much here I've definitely got lunch for tomorrow now as well! Super happy. The staff there is crazy friendly, and they immediately told my coworker and I that we'd have to come back; have to say I agree, and I'm already planning on it. There's not too many places in NOVA where you really get your money's worth anymore. Seems like you'll shell out $15 for a normal meal, and leave with no leftovers or really just a measly amount of food. If you're hungry, this is a great stop. read more

Peruvian chicken is easy to find in the sterling va area many restaurants to choose from, I drive past 2 other restaurants to come to this one! Customer service here is always so welcoming! I come here about 1-2 times a month. The chicken is moist & full of flavor, as well as simply just getting rice & beans! I also always get pupusas & they always let me know pupusas take a little longer to cook, I think this is great to let a customer know this just Incase they're in a hurry or something like that. I came here for lunch break and ordered the 1/4 chicken with yuca and Spanish rice. The chicken was well cooked and the meat fell off the bone nicely; it was well seasoned and tasted delicious. The yuca was bland and dry but can't expect much from yuca to be fair. the Spanish rice was also on the dry side but I liked that it was mixed in with carrots and green beans. A fan because it's literally right down the street from my office but the food could improve. Been here a couple of times and the chicken was either really juicy or it could be a little on the dry side, sometimes salty but the sauces made up for it. I went to this restaurant with my son to try and find a good Peruvian chicken place in Loudoun County and I was very disappointed. Let's break-down the food. The chicken seemed dried out and lacking ANY Peruvian spices as you would see at other places. The yucca was over fried and very hard. Some places make their yucca very soft inside. This was the opposite. The black beans were average at best. I like to find the good in most restaurants but fail to do so with this one. I'd be shocked if this restaurant is open 1 year from now. There are better choices in Loudoun County for good Pervuian Chicken. Do yourself a favor, and try those and not this. read more

I have high hopes for this spot. When the chicken is good, it's GREAT (juicy, flavorful, tender). I have had it be dry, although the sauces they provide made up for that a bit. Went here on Friday, was looking for lunch and came across this one. The people are friendly, the prices are very reasonable, $7 for lunch what more can you ask for. I thought the chicken could have had a bit more spice and been cooked a little less but it was very good. The Yucca was cooked fresh and was the best I have ever had. My husband and I have been looking for a halal Peruvian place near us and we've found it! All their meats are halal and there's no pork in their rice and beans. Yucas are fantastic! We ordered the whole chicken and it was more than enough for the two of us. I think 4 people can easily eat it together with the sides. Their customer service is also top notch! My girlfriend and I went here for dinner, and we were both extremely disappointed. The chicken was dry and even becoming hard from sitting around. The yuca was a disgusting brown color and had been extremely overcooked. They also messed up our side orders. I would probably give this place 2 stars if it wasn't for the management handling our complaint terribly. When I called back in, they had an excuse for everything (except the old chicken, completely avoided acknowledging that). Then they tried blaming it on us, (I don't know how we could have possibly made their mistakes) but okay. Just save yourself your time and money. This was my first experience with Peruvian style chicken. It was great and I am so pleased! I ordered the chicken breast with two sides. I chose the salad and rice and beans. The salad was fresh and the vegetables were vibrant and crunchy. I could not figure out what the dressing was but it tasted yummy. The rice and beans were tasty as well. The chicken breast portion were 2 pretty good sized pieces and the flavor was unique and succulent. I do not live anywhere near the restaurant but I hope the ones closer to my home can measure up to my high standards based on these guys. read more

Best one near south riding. As a Peruvian I always have high expectations. The chicken was not overwhelmingly seasoned, it had just the right amount of spices on the rub, perfectly cooked and so soft it came of the bone. The yucca fries are outstanding (freshly made to order) they are like my grandma used to make them, first boiled and then deep fried. Their sauces are great too. Definitely recommend it!
