What a joke of a place. VERY pricey for what food and service your get. When paying for meal on credit card, it's pretty much prompts you to ad a tip. No option for no tip, for zero service provided. I sat three feet from opening of the kitchen, not very busy and they couldn't reach out and deliver my meal. They called my number and place it in the "pick up" area even after prompting me for a 10% tip. Young teenagers working here (probably owners kids n friends) that were more interested in goofing off than helping customers. No sense of urgency to the customers. Food was average at best giving me a hot burger with cold stale fry's that I saw the owner looking person scrape stale frys from the bottom of fry pan and place them in my basket that they eventually placed in the "pick up" area. I give this place maybe a year before somebody else that wants to "own" their own restaurant will take over. read more

This place is the best! All the workers are friendly and the hot dogs are delicious and really filling! It's all so good I can't decide which hot dog is the best. If you like good food this is the place for you! I just wish I could give them more than 5 stars! read more

We visit Mugsy Dogs more often than I'd like to admit. Their food is always fresh and customer service is excellent. We even had an occasion where we ordered online and they didn't think our food was warm enough so they remade our order. The restaurant is always clean. The one thing is that I wish they would toast their hamburger buns a bit so the condiments would be a little less messy. Other than that, keep sending me those Yelp coupons and I will keep adding time to my exercise routine so I can eat my Mugsy Dogs! read more

Just visited within the hour and I have no idea how you have any positive reviews. I ordered a hamburger with extra pickles (apparently that means one pickle to you), ordered a chili cheese dog no onion ( that meant to someone to load with as much onion add humanly possible), and ordered cheese fries ( that meant to someone that it needed chili too). Then I call as we got our order to go ask to speak to a manager only to be told we are busy. Completely deflecting my question, then told to call back after 3 unless i am placing a order... Are you serious?! Someone intentionally f***** my order up and someone wont even take the 2 minutes to speak with me? Call back praying someone besides Debbie will answer the phone, but no she answers says hold then disconnected the call. Tried a third time to call and once again only willing to have someone talk to me if they can have more of my money. The absolute WORST experience I have ever had. read more

Very good lunch. My husband and daughter had the chili dogs and enjoyed them. I had the Chicago dog and that was pretty good too. An order of fries is large enough for two people. The staff were friendly and really quick preparing the food. Will definitely be back! read more

Took the family out for late lunch today to Mugsy Dogs and had a really nice enjoyable lunch. My mom got the Rueben dog and loved it my dad got a cheese burger. My daughter having a gluten problem got a double cheese burger which was placed on a nice bed of lettuce with all her garnishments. It was after what appeared to be a busy lunch time because staff was quickly cleaning and restocking. They were very pleasant, the counter girl(not a kiddo) made some great suggestions when we asked what her favorites were. For the price the quanity and quality hit the mark. Let me start out by saying that I was sick for 2 weeks from getting food poisoning from their onion rings. They tasted great, but you will not feel good post eating them. Many of their hotdogs will have you feeling very heavy and full. (Which I don't like to feel.) The hot dogs are very greasy, and the buns are stale. I have often seen many of the employees of Mugsy Dogs handling my food without gloves. Um, ew! Last time I was in, they messed up my order and my daughter is allergic to onions and they put onions on her hot dog! One of the employees was very rude when I mentioned the mistake and was very condescending and told me that I asked for the onions. It was a very frustrating experience and I do not recommend going. I am recently a new customer to Mugsy Dogs. I just moved into the area of this location, and looking for new restaurants to eat at. I was introduced to Mugsy Dogs by my parents, who instantly fell in love after their first visit. They took me here the next day, and Mugsy Dogs did not disappoint. First off, the employees are very welcoming as soon as you walk in. You are immediately greeted, because it is a small restaurant, which is part of its charm. There are a variety of choices to choose from, like what you want on your hot dog, what kind of bun, etc. However, the cashiers who take the orders are always helpful in making the tough decision of what to eat. The kitchen is open and right there where everyone can see what is being cooked on the big grills. You can talk to the cooks, and even sometimes hear them sing to the fun music playing. The cooks even joked with me while I was eating in my seat which was fun, and made me feel included and welcomed. There is limited seating inside, but also a nice porch outside with multiple tables and umbrellas for larger parties. I have tried sitting at both, and each area is a great setting to eat and enjoy the delicious food. For my first visit I decided to order a classic Mugsy dog with ketchup and sauerkraut and an order of fries, just to test out how good Mugsy hot dogs really were. It was tempting to try some of the other options, like the Mac n Cheese dog, the pretzel bun or the BLT dog (which is wrapped in bacon), but I kept it simple. It was a great price, and the traditional spiral cut hot dog was one of the best hot dogs I've had at a restaurant. The fries, with their special sauce, were the perfect addition to the hot dog. My dad got the Gringo Dog, and I was a little jealous because it looked so good. At another visit where we had 6 people total, the price was reasonable. My brother-in-law tried the Mac n Cheese dog. He ate it in less than 5 minutes, and even finished the last bite of my hot dog. They were that good. As a not so adventurous eater myself, I am slowly branching out with the different hot dogs Mugsy Dogs offers, and I will eventually try all the delicious options they have. I have been to Mugsy Dogs multiple times since my first visit, and have introduced more people to their delicious food as well. I plan to go here many times in the future, and I know I will be pleased each time. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. It is a family friendly environment. I have seen customers of all ages enjoying Mugsy's delicious food. Anyone who likes a good hot dog and great service should definitely try this place out. You will not be disappointed. Went to Mugsy Dogs for the first time this week. Me and my daughter love hotdogs. And we wanted to give this local newer place a try. I had the Chicago Dog and a double cheeseburger and she had a chili dog. My burger was amazing it was so thick and juicy. It was grilled to perfection. My Chicago dog was great as well. My daughter said her chilli dog a lot. The fries were great and the fry sauce is delicious. My only complaint and one thing j don't understand is the they have kids meals for $5 which include a hotdog fries and a drink. Which I feel is a fair price for sure. But my daughter wanted a chilli dog which wasn't one of options for the kids meal. I asked if there was anyway to put chilli on her dog I was willing to pay for it. The lady at the register asked the cook and said No I would have to order the chilli dog which is a $6 dollar item. I don't understand why it would be hard to add chilli to a hotdog for something like $1 but to have to spend $6 bucks plus buy $2 frys and drink so the kids meal goes up to $10. I know that if my seem like I'm being picky but I wasn't asking for the cheese or the onions or any thing else but maybe a couple spoons full of chilli. We will try the place again for sure the food is good! Just wish they could make a exception on the one issue I had. Overall I would recommend this place if you like dogs and hamburgers. read more

Mugsy dog gets 3 stars merely for the fact that the 100% pure beef hot dog itself wrapped in bacon and deep fried was tasty. The rest of the experience gets 2 stars. I ordered a $6BLT dog with onion rings and a small drink and it was $11.32. The onion rings were a la carte and were $3 alone and you get exactly 8 onions rings. I received only 7 and 2 of them were the size of a 50 cent piece. I mentioned it and they kindly made it right giving me 5 extra rings that were all larger. A dozen rings for $3 would be more acurate than the over priced $3 for 8 in my opinion. Also, I had asked if some how I could pay the $3 price and get half onion rings and half fries (yes 4 onion rings and then some fries) they said no. It would be nice to offer a 50/50 ring and fry mix for $3 (especially since the fries are only $2). The BLT dog sounds great but it was ruined by the fact that they served it on a cool bun....not even room temp. Not good. The coke fountain drink is not good (McDonalds) still does their fountain drinks the best with right calibrations. I would come back for another dog, but would make sure the warmed bun was just that...warm. I would like to try some of the other unique dogs on the menu. read more
