The staff here is unbelievably nice! The outstanding service, along with the amazing food is why I keep coming back. This is a pizzeria but also a sit down restaurant. The pizza is great, their plain pizza is just too yummy. But when I want a specialty slice their buffalo chicken is my go to. I've also tried margerita and their penne alla vodka slices. AMAZING! What I love most from here is their pasta. The bolognese is incredible. Quite possibly the best I have ever had! They don't just add meat to tomato sauce like other places. Here, they make bolognese correctly. They make a wonderful puree from the onions, carrots, celery, and tomatoes which comes out to an amazing sauce! I suggest having it with fettuccine, the pairing is great. When I took my first bite I was over joyed. Bolognese is my favorite and I can be picky, but this place makes it PERFECT! Had an interesting experience here a few weeks ago. Hubby decided to eat out with his work buddies so I got off the train and came here for dinner. I ended up sharing my table with two high school boys lol. There was an odd girl who was probably closer to their age but she didn't offer to share her table when they were looking for a place to sit with their pizza slices. Maybe she could have hooked up with one of them if only she realized lol. Okay on to the food after the quasi hopefully funny story. I had the eggplant parm hero. The bread was good, not slightly burnt like I've seen other places sometimes do with eggplant parm hero bread. The eggplant was tasty enough and the mozzarella cheese was good too. When I turned around to leave after I pigged out on an eggplant parm hero I noticed the odd girl was enjoying a delicious looking dessert, I couldn't fit anything else inside my tummy though perhaps one day I'll have to go back for one of their dessert offerings. I come to this Mulberry Street often however I was extremely disappointed by my most recent experience. An employee was ringing me up and the boss came over to him and started yelling at him for leaving his "spot" and kept telling him to "shut the fuck up". The employee was respectful and stated that he was helping me, the customer, and the boss would not stop speaking in such an inappropriate aggressive way in front of me, a customer to his employee. Very disappointing experience at Mulberry Street last evening. The wait for service and for our appetizers and entrees was ridiculous to the point where we told our waitress to cancel the appetizers and just bring our entrees. It was almost an hour from when we placed our order until the entrees arrived. Our waitress was very apologetic and said it was related to many of the people dining at the same time before showtime at the Argyle Theater. Several tables who arrived before us were just getting their appetizers when we were leaving. I went to this restaurant for the first time and I went to check out the reviews following since my food wasn't that great, I wanted to see what the people were recommending if I ever decided to give it another chance. Tonight I was in the dining room having dinner with my family and I witnessed a really disgusting interaction between 2 ladies and the manager of this establishment. This man should really be ashamed of the way he addresses customers and deals with the public in general. It was absolutely atrocious the way he spoke down to these women and reading further into the reviews here you can see he must have a real complex with criticism. I saw the entire thing as an innocent bystander and I will never ever be coming back, I'll also be telling my family and friends to bring their business elsewhere. The service here is by far the worst EVER. I'm not sure if it's new owners or what but when I say this is the armpit of Babylon, don't waste your dignity or self respect coming here. I just got off a 12 hour shift and this pre made panini that simply needed to be warmed up was the first thing I was eating all day after working a REAL job, I keep checking back every 5 min to find out 20 min later that they never put it in the oven. If I can give this place zero stars, I would. Got takeout here Friday night with my fiancé. I got chicken parmesan and became severely ill shortly after. Symptoms lasted until the following day. Of course he denies the fact I got sick from them and that I'm wrong because he doesn't want to jeopardize the business. Second time here and wasn't disappointed! It was a Sat night but we were in and out about an hour after seated. Both our meals were delicious (chicken franchaise and eggplant parm) and so was the bread and drinks! You get a lot of food for the price of your entree and we took home leftovers too. There was minimal cheese. A 25$ pie should have cheese. Not happy. It's hit or miss here. Prices are not cheap and quality is lacking. This place is pretty good. The staff is all super friendly, and they have good slices. I recommend the Sicilian slices, but please, save the corners for me. Regular slices are also good, as are the marinara. I also had an eggplant parm hero here, which was really good. The eggplant was baked and not fried, so a bit healthier of an option when going the parmigiana route. So far, best pizza I've had in the village. Worth popping in if you're in the area. There is also a public lot here, however be careful where you park - village employees only against the fence! Parking tickets make for more expensive pizza than you may have planned. read more

The buff chicken slice I ate tonight looked lit but didn't taste as so, had duckin blue cheese somewhere in it not visible, talk about a curve ball; slice gets a 4.2 off me. The white slice had nothing notable to discuss about it other than the fact that it was larger than most slices I've gotten from other places; i'll give it a 6.3. That being said, all the slices in this place were massive so if you're lookin to get full and are in mood for some zaa this place may get you off. But bigger isn't always better, keep that in mind. We found the taste and quality of ingredients in our meals were quite exceptional. The portions were quite large and plentiful as well as being very reasonably priced. Their prices and selection on their Wines, Beers and Other Beverages were surprisingly quite reasonable as well as inexpensive compared to neighboring establishments. I had the clams fra diavolo and the clams were already chopped rather than in the shell.
