OVERALL/WHAT TO KNOW: -Fast, average quality pizza -Their specialty slices are a bit overloaded, making them more like a casserole with crust underneath -Slices are large enough that the prices seem reasonable -Would go back again, but only if I'm in a rush. ARRIVAL: -Stopped by during my lunch break around 3pm on Wednesday for a quick meal. -Ended up coming here again on Monday to give it another chance and because it's fast. FOOD/DRINK: -Across my two visits I had a grandma slice, a Buffalo chicken slice, a pepperoni slice, and a Margherita slice -The grandma slice was my favorite and had the best flavor to it in my opinion. -The pepperoni slice was solid. A little greasy, but that's to be expected. -The margherita slice tasted fine. The issues were that it was a little overloaded with diced tomato, it couldn't hold its structure when picked up, and it tasted more like a large bruschetta than a slice of pizza. -The Buffalo chicken slice tasted pretty good, but had the same structural issues as the margherita slice. The whole tip of the slice fell off as soon as I picked it up. I ended up having to eat a lot of the topping separately after it had fallen off the slice. It was very messy and probably would have been better if I had eaten it with a knife and fork from the beginning. SERVICE: -Service was fast and efficient -The employee when I first went there seemed distracted and had air pods in so I wasn't sure if he heard my order correctly, but everything was correct when I got my food so all was well. ATMOSPHERE/LAYOUT: -I did not look around the inside of the building much. -There are metal chairs and tables for eating outside -I did not realize at first that they have more types of slices available than what's in the display at the counter. Like I think they didn't have any pepperoni or plain slices displayed, but when I asked for pepperoni they pulled one out from somewhere and popped it right in the oven. read more

We were a party of 6 and went to Mulberry Street resturant after a Arygle theater show. Wow were we lucky, having never dined there before, we certainly got Royal treatment,as if we were steady customers. Everyone was more than pleasant, the service was unbelievable from the bar service to the wait staff. We had baked clams and calamari, all great. Main courses were chicken cristoforo, veal cutlets,lasagna, baked shrimp and vegtables a beef dish with flat noodles, salads with choice of dressings and garlic knots to die for, the resturant isn't large but it makes up in food and service what it lacks in size. Will definitely go back and highly recommend a visit. You won't be disappointed! read more

I was looking for a lunch spot in Babylon and stumbled on reviews that Mulberry Street had new owners and decided to give it a try. And I was so glad we went there! A great new menu with a wide range of salads, sandwiches, paninis, pasta and more. The lunch pick 2 included a combination of soup, sandwich, or hero and was really good! The pasta fagioli soup and Pavarotti salad were delicious and the prices very reasonable. The room was very cozy and service excellent. I look forward to going back. read more

I've been coming to Mulberry Street pizzeria in Babylon for about 23 years. I've always loved their calzones. They were the best I've ever eaten. Tonight I went in to get a calzone and it was the most disgusting thing I have eaten, and apparently they sold their pizzeria to someplace that operates a pizzeria in Copiague. I think it's called mama, but I can say I will never ever again order pies calzones or anything else from this place. They have gone downhill so quickly with a new ownership. read more

Mulberry Street has a great menu where menu items are varied and tastefully prepared. We have enjoyed our dinners there and service is always attentive and excellent. For family events we have had them cater on several occasions. They offer excellent choices. The food is delicious and they are on time and set up with care. Me and my spouse went this past Friday night when they were doing a special for Fridays- 2 dinner entrees with a bottle of wine for $68. I originally wanted their mahi mahi but unfortunately was told they did not have any left which was a shame seeing as it was about 7:30. I then decided on the chicken alla panna which happily did not disappoint. Was surprised to see the large portion and even more so, the vegetables that came with it were delicious. (Seriously the best side of vegetables I may have ever had. Usually veggies at restaurants are bland and lack flavor. These were roasted so well). The chicken itself is basically an Italian creamed chicken with mushrooms. They also give you really nice focaccia garlic bread which was above the basic Italian bread you'd typically find on your table. Service was a little weird but not bad. read more

Poor attitude seems to be the common theme amongst other reviews and I had a similar experience recently. I placed an order through Uber eats and requested utensils, napkins, etc. through the app since I just moved into an apartment and haven't had a chance to unpack everything yet. I noticed there weren't any utensils when I arrived and the guy told me to help myself so I did. Then I noticed my drink wasn't in the box so I said something and again I was told to help myself. When I got home I noticed the dipping sauce I paid extra for wasn't in the box. I guess I was supposed to help myself to that too. My bad. Overall I felt like I was annoying the guy behind the counter when I just wanted what I requested in the app. If I was an Uber eats driver picking this stuff up I would have walked out without the utensils or drink. It's not like the place was busy. It takes 2 seconds to put that stuff in the box, so just do it. There's also nothing worst than an owner that responds to every negative review. Just read them and learn from your mistakes. Food was ok, but I'd rather take my business elsewhere. read more

I returned to Mulberry for more of their fare, including the eggplant rollatini slice I saw on my first visit: Eggplant Rollatini slice Though the crust is thick, it nonetheless is light and crispy when heated up proper. This texture is complemented by the chunky plum tomatoes, eggplant and seasoned ricotta in a satisfying blend of flavors. Spinach slice Excellent crispy crust! The spinach (with onions a a bit of cream) is flavorful enough to satisfy, while not being too creamy to distract. It ties together well with the crust and the layer of mozzarella cheese on top. Penne alla Vodka slice Very similar to their Grandma Vodka slice I reviewed prior, but in its pasta form. Crust is light and crisp when heated up proper. Again, it's difficult to determine the full flavor profile of the sauce, but I am nonetheless inclined to give their penne alla vodka lunch entrée a try based on the quality of the food I have sampled here thus far. read more

It's not worth being disrespected by bratty ass teenagers for a mediocre slice of overpriced pizza. Went here for dinner with my family and sat outside. Overall food quality not terrible, but also not amazing by any means. Ordered chicken parm as a dinner with a chicken bacon ranch pizza slice only for the slice to come out to $8 on top of everything else. Before paying I asked our server if the price was correct and she told me "since I was eating dinner outside and had the pizza brought to me, an additional $1.50 was added to the overall price. $8 for one specialty slice? And a surcharge because I didn't order it at the counter?!? Never heard of such nonsense. After spending over $200 for dinner you'd think the restaurant would do right by you but no, they squeeze you even harder. Terrible business practice. Plus the vodka sauce was good at the start but holy hell, definitely not worth the heartburn which followed.
