This little restaurant/café was amazing. Walking in you felt like home. Everyone was so kind and when I mentioned it was my first time there they gave me and my coworker a free cookie. My sandwich was probably one of the best sandwiches Ive ever had here in Vegas. Turkey and Swiss with extra mayo, lettuce, and tomato. I ordered on site and it was ready literally within five minutes. I loved how they have the seal on the sandwiches and I cannot rave enough about this place. It's in a little industrial area off Cameron. Definitely a must try. I will be back next week. Thanks for a great experience.

Was looking for a good sandwich so I thought I would try this place for lunch. The service was quick and friendly. The place was clean and quiet with a few customers enjoying their lunch break. I ordered the special that was sliced roast beef, melted provolone, plus toppings. The sandwich had great flavor and the bread had amazing chew. This might become a "go-to" spot for lunch.

I love this place! The staff is so friendly and attentive. I'm partial to a cold Italian sub and I love that you can customize it! The seating area is very clean and quaint. They even sell the Hot Cheetos without red dye 40! No notes.

Well, I thought I was home in Baltimore in the late '60's!! #19 with a bit of mayo, dressing and extra onion. Had jalepenos instead of hots, but it worked!! My daughter didn't grow up there so she wanted mustard and arugula! Loooved it!!! Yum.

Pros: Food, service, size Cons: The hours, parking lot Details: I dont get here often because of the limited hours. But it's honestly the best sandwhich shop in Las Vegas. The inside isn't that fancy you order and picjup at the counter. The parking lot can be a little tough. But it's all worth it for the food. The portions are massive and make other sub places in town look pathetic. But again, limited weekday hours.

Found this all woman owed sub shop on Tic-Toc and ma so glad I did. I had the Italian and the wife had the tuna. So delicious and fresh. After weeks of seeing viral clips and craving the flavor, my husband and I finally made the trek -- nearly 30 minutes across town to uncover what so many locals already know: Munch-A-Sub is a hidden legend in the heart of Vegas. Founded in 1996 and fiercely run by an all-woman crew, this Italian-style New York deli is more than a sandwich shop. It's a story steeped in flavor, care, and that old-school hospitality you just don't find anymore. From the moment we stepped inside, the vibe was cozy, the line was lively, and the scent? Irresistible. We arrived around 12:50PM on a Thursday -- just past peak lunch hour, or so we thought. The line was 10 guests deep but moved with rhythm and ease. In minutes, we were placing our order, eager to taste what the TikToks had promised. I chose the #11 -- a 12-inch masterpiece of turkey, ham, ripe tomato, crisp lettuce, onion, and that perfect drizzle of mustard, mayo, oil, and vinegar. The bread tasted like it was baked that morning -- soft, fresh, and sturdy enough to cradle every overflowing bite. Honestly, I only managed half. The portion was epic. Paired with a bowl of Italian wedding soup -- the daily special -- the meal became a memory. That soup tasted homemade, delicate and full of love. Came in on a Monday around 1 and I was able to order right away. They inside was bigger than I expected with a lot of tables. I've heard it gets very busy at lunch time so I think I got lucky and just came after the rush. Ordered a meatball sub to eat there and a Philly cheesesteak to go. I double checked and they make the meatballs in house and they tasted great. I really enjoyed the flavor. My only issue was that the bread did not hold up well. The meatballs soaked through and kept falling out. Bread texture was also not my favorite. I think I would have preferred it if it had been more toasted. Not sure if they toasted it at all. Tried the Philly a few hours later after reheating it in the oven. It was very good even a few hours later. The seasoning on it was perfect!

Overall, Munch-A-Sub was a great option for lunch. I had the Reuben (but swapped out the corned beef for pastrami) and a pasta salad and it was very filling and good. The staff here were extremely friendly and the ambiance, while nothing fancy, was pleasant and comfortable. I would definitely recommend.

I still have more foodie feasts to write about from my 4 weeks in Europe but I have to scream about the awesome sauce that's Munch a Sub ( @munchasub1 ). I post in 8 foodie groups and when I was recommended this spot by multiple folks, I had to try it. I ordered an Italian sub with extra dressing, a side of chips, and of course a macaroni salad. Everything was delicious, a hearty amount of meat, and a perfectly balanced salad. I'd definitely go back if in the area. What I was more stoked to learn was it's run by three sisters who took it over after their father passed away. That made me want to scream about it even more. Running a small business like this is never easy. There's always politicians trying to screw you over, unsatisfied entitled customers you'll never make happy, and the sweat and tears it takes to push through all of this. This was the best sandwich we've had in Vegas hands down. Everyone is so nice you can definitely tell they take care of their customers and it's a family vibe. It's cute and small in there. The sandwiches are absolutely amazing and giant.

I was in Las Vegas visiting my cousin, and we were both craving a good sandwich. Munch-A-Sub came up while searching online, and looked good from what I saw. We went there on a Friday around noon, and they were a bit busy. Plenty of parking here, so that wasn't a problem, and plenty of tables inside as well. The place is clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was very quick. Although this is an Italian deli, I would consider this a very Americanized Italian deli. I didn't see any prosciutto, soppressata, or fresh mozzarella on their menu. No basil leaves, arugula, or olive oil either. We ordered a large #19 (Italian) and a large #2b (Munch Italian Beef). Both sandwiches came moderately loaded. The meats in the Italian were good but not noteworthy. I found myself wishing it could be modified with something other than lettuce. The meat in the Italian beef was tasty. Note that the Italian Beef does not automatically come with giardiniera like traditional Chicago style Italian beef sandwiches, although it looks like it is available on their menu. I feel like the star of the show, for both sandwiches, was the bread. Their bread was definitely high quality, and had a great texture and consistency. If I was scoring this place strictly on the food, I feel like a 4-star rating would be too high, and a 3-star rating would be too low. Because I'm unable to give a 3.5 star rating, I will also consider the excellent service we received, and give this place 4 stars. I will definitely (try to) visit this place again, but their limited business hours might make it difficult to do.

I saw the pictures of the sandwiches and thought about it all day at work. So I figured I would head over there for lunch and check it out. They had a corned beef footlong with a large soda for $9.50 as a special of the day. I ordered it and like previously said stated by others, the sandwiches are 12" and stuffed with meat. Now down to the taste. The corned beef sandwich I had was decent at best. It wasn't as salty as I've had or prefer. But It did make me full. It wasn't bad, I'm just a little picky when it comes to corned beef and pastrami. However the service was outstanding so I will give this sandwich shop another visit to see if I can raise my rating. read more

I own a business around the corner from munch a sub and we call them atleast twice a week. Contrary to past comments, ALL of our subs are always fresh and the bread is the best. Your subs anywhere really suck if they sit and get old, so order when you get there and enjoy! A dollar debit fee is hardly worth complaining about...a great mom and pop subshop... read more

My friends shop is around the corner so stopped by for lunch. Big selection of sandwiches. I got the meatball sub on their recommendation. Bread was pretty good but they didn't do anything to it. I like the bread thrown on the flaptop with a little butter. The meatball themselves were decent with nice texture and flavor but they needed to put enough sauce on it. They sprinkled a little mozzarella on it. I wish they put it under the salamander or broiler and a little parmesan would have been nice. All in all, pretty boring sandwhich but with decent ingredients. read more

Expensive, but good, mostly. I was really bummed that they used canned mushrooms on my sandwich, really ruined it for me. The wife liked the CA croissant sandwich she had and the kids enjoyed their roast beef but I think it was overpriced and the canned mushrooms killed it. read more

nice place! compact place, biiig subs, I ordered the full size pastrami, chips and soda for $14. not cheap, but you get what you pay for in this place - pay a little more for quality, right? If I can remember to, I'll stop into this place again for their hot dishes - they close early since they're in an industrial area - so be sure to get in for lunch! read more

Walked in today for lunch to go. I had a 6 inch Italian sub and a small bowl of split pea soup. YUM! The bread was the best, soft yet chewy. They were busy, but luckly I got my order taken quickly, and was ready within 5 minutes to go! Will be making another trip back, wish they were open on the weekends. read more

I am a super fan of this joint. It is a little "mom and pop" style shop hidden away in an industrial area. We often times order from them either over the phone or on the website and pick up lunch for the whole office. The staff is super friendly and remembers the regulars all the time. I love the Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich but have had several other fantastic meals as well. read more

I drive by this place almost every day and didn't notice it at first. It's definitely a hole in the wall "locals" place. I finally gave it a try and the pastrami #51 gave me more life! Hot or cold subs and breakfast! What more could you want out of your sub shop. I ordered a philly and at first was put off because it wasn't a traditional style of meat on the sandwich. However the beef was plentiful and the sandwich was delicious. Also I've never had Tostitos salsa verde chips in snack size so those being available was just wonderful! Love this place officially, anytime I'm down in this neighborhood I'll be back. read more

A family owned and run hidden gem right off the Vegas strip. I had a 6 inch meatball that had so much flavor that melted in my mouth. I also got a ham and Swiss to go for later and was not disappointed. They threw two homemade cookies in which my two 5 year olds destroyed upon contact. A must try local favorite if you are in the area! read more

Got off work a little early today and decided to take my husband some lunch at his work. I yelped food and came across this place and realized he has talked about it before. So I said what the heck I will try that!! I think I must have showed up right after the lunch rush because it was empty. I was happy though!! I received my two sandwiches faster then the speed of light! Food was awesome and service was great!!! I bought two #58 which is the California sub. Comes on a croissant with turkey bacon avocado mayo and it awesome!! Hopefully I can eat here again when I am down in this area. read more

Got a turkey club, guess I should have read reviews and I would have known they close at 3pm and the subs are huge. Just do 1/2 six is plenty. Good sandwich, very safe fresh bread, although I'm not sure you can mess up a turkey club. I do prefer carved turkey over deli (what they serve), but can eat both. Staff friendly got me in and out in 5 minutes. read more

No joke one of the best sandwiches in Las Vegas and possibly the West Coast. This place is like the real deli's back east. It's all about the bread. Face it. Any idiot can slice meat and cheese but it takes talent to make great sub bread. This place will not disappoint and btw the 6 inch sub is MONSTER, most grown men I saw there are full off it. read more

Came here for the first time today. Walking up to the door, you could smell wonderful flavors. When we walked in we were met with a line about 6 or 7 deep. The line cleared up really fast. I ordered the Rueben, my wife ordered the sausage and peppers with added meatballs. Both sandwiches were amazing. We will definitely be going back. The service was excellent and for being as busy as they were it was very quick. The rest of the menu looked awesome as well with a good combo of cold and hot sandwiches, wraps and salads. Everyone knows Vegas is a burger town. The pizza is mediocre and the subs are downright terrible. But I was in the mood for a cold sandwich and just happened to be in the industrial part of town and found Munch A Sub. The reviews were good, so I stopped in and was pleasantly surprised by the very East Coast vibe the place was giving off. I ordered a sandwich with roast beef, turkey and ham, trying to recreate a classic I grew up with in south Florida. To my surprise, the sandwich was really great. It all starts with the bread, which is exactly the type of hoagie roll that every sub shop should be using. It was soft on the inside, but perfectly structured on the outside. The meats were a good portion and weren't the typical store bought slices you see around town. I also ordered a soup, Italian Wedding, which was a great thing to eat alongside a cold sub. One of the owners of the shop, who also took my order, was nice enough to even bring me a meatball for free so I could try it. Needless to say, I'll be ordering the meatball sub next time I'm there. Overall, this was probably the best sub I've had in my 8 years in Vegas. The Butcher Block over on Rainbow also does subs that are really good, but every time I go there, they act annoyed at the thought of making a sub and it seems like they really only want to sell their meats. The only real knock I can give Munch A Sub is that they serve Pepsi instead of Coke, but that's just a preference. Oil and red vinegar would also be cool to have out on the tables, but that's just me trying to recreate my favorite sub shop from back home. read more

Never will be coming back here again, had a rough beginning of my shift at work, so why not relax and get a sub, nope everyone who ordered after me got their food and I'm sitting there like tiny Tim wondering when I get mine, usually when someone's order is up you have their attention, my food sat for 10 or 15 mins on a random table next to other people, it's really disappointing. Wasted half my lunch break, spent the last of my money for that sandwich and couldn't eat it, unacceptable read more

For those who might get lost trying to find it, they're pretty much right across the street from Burger King. After I finally located them and walked in, it looked odd since it felt like almost behind the counter, but you can just walk around to the dining room and the front of the counter. I was recommended a couple of choices and went with the Black Angus Steak Shawarma as a Laffa wrap ($24.50). The employee had me walk over to the Chipotle-esque assembly area after and then walked me through the choices. I recall getting hummus, a mild green sauce of some kind, raw sumac onions, fried onions, fried eggplant, cucumber, pico de gallo, and purple slaw. Then the cool stuff happened when he offered to let me sample some sauce and then get multiple sauces on the side. The curry mango amba is some really challenging stuff that resembled something I've tried at some Indian lunch buffet ages ago, so I'm glad I didn't get it on the wrap. The creamy BBQ aioli (kinda like a sweeter fry sauce, I felt), dill & roasted garlic mayo, and tahini were all better options, the former going especially well with my included side of fries while the dill plays a great supporting role and the tahini just does its thing. I sat down and got to the actual wrap, and it was delicious. The laffa is fluffy and thicker than I thought it might be; it ain't a lavash, that's for sure. The steak is pretty tender, often has that char from the vertical rotisserie it was carved from, and free from chewy bits. It has a nice warming spice rub which you can get more easily before starting to experiment with sauces. All three aforementioned choices worked. Overall, it isn't cheap (especially if you don't have cash on-hand to avoid the surcharge), but I enjoyed it. I also got a bottled lemonade ($4.95) of some sort which they've imported from Israel. It had a little more actual lemon character than American brands, and I kinda plowed through that thing pretty quickly. I'm kinda curious whether the mango, peach, or grape options would have also worked. Shawarma Paradise is a very good, albeit pricey option for steak shawarma and likely for other protein needs. Check them out if you get the craving, as I'm not confident that there are many if any better spots around.

Quite disappointing considering the reviews. I called them last Tuesday and ordered 1 1/2 trays of sandwiches and chips to be delivered on Friday @ 11:00 AM for 14 of us at our office training meeting. We thought we would try somewhere different for a change. HMMM. The only positive thing I can say is that the delivery guy arrived right on time as promised. The downfall was that not only did they forget the plates and napkins, they also failed to add ANY condiments on the bread or even provide us with individual packets for use. The result being DRY sandwiches. Fortunately, one of the employee's had a small container of mayonnaise in the lunchroom fridge which we all of course devoured. Needless to say, we will use our usual place next time. read more

I'm also a big sesame seed bun fan, and thought that's what I was getting, but the bun I got was plain. Still good, but was looking forward to the seeded. The buns are toasted and buttered, adding to the richness of the burger. The pastrami sandwich was $20. It was pretty good, but not as good as The Hat and probably not as good as Lester's which I'm planning to try soon. Probably wouldn't order get again unless in a pinch. More like a $14-15 sandwich to me. All in all a quality eating experience. The biggest challenge they have getting my business is that it's located right next to my favorite pizza place (Slice House) and it will be a tall task for me to ever go to this food court and not walk away without a slice or a pie, its just too good. 5 star vs 4 star Irv's, but that's no disrespect to Irv's just stiff competition with my favorite pizza spot! There wasn't anyone else in store so our order was made very quickly and we were able to head home and try them out. SO GOOD! Can't wait to come back in and try a few different kinds of sandwiches.
