We found this musubi place on Instagram and decided to try it. We looove musubi as a family. First thing the restaurant is small but clean an in a ni e little strip mall and the workers were very sweet. So we eneded up getting the crab, spam and beef musubi's and they were soo good. We ate it with the hotsauce they give (which was sooo good) and teriyaki sauce. The musubi's aren't huge so if your not too hungry 1 is good but if your hungry 2 or 3 would be best. They are well priced I think they range from $3 to $7 dollars. In all we will be back! read more

There was a small family waiting for their food and I am nosey so when their food was ready I was all eyes. They ordered the rice bowls. I can tell one of them had Brussels sprouts and it looked amazing. I will definitely come back here to try the bowls although they look kinda small but I'm hungry right now and my eyes are always bigger than my belly. * finally got to eat my musubis. I would give this place a 3.5 star if I could. Service was really good; I think we were talking to the owner who was super nice. My friend and I legit ordered every musubi they had. My favorite one was the miso salmon, which was actually the underdog for me because I was originally going to exclude that one from our order. Crunchy shrimp was pretty good as well. Least favorite was the bulgogi bbq and the truffle grilled veggie. The bulgogi was a bit too sweet for my taste. As for everything else, I am happy I tried it once, but would probably not get again. This place is great, it's small and the food is amazing. At this point I've tried all the musubis. My favorite are the crab ones and surprisingly the vegetable truffle one. It's really close to Knott's so if you have a pass you can call in as you leave the park. It does take a bit but that's because they make them fresh. read more

So disappointed in this place as I love masubis! I usually don't leave reviews but I have to on this horrible experience. First, the lady taking our order had horrible customer service. She was getting confused with my order which was two of each masubi besides the spicy crab and veggie. She didn't repeat the order or give the receipt. When I tried to send the receipt via text, she switched it to print for herself and did not give me a copy. Our two orders took 40 minutes to make on Friday afternoon around 3 pm. 5 masubis on my friend's order and 8 masubis on my order. She was then getting orders ready and we saw she was touching everything with the same gloves. All the tickets, counter, stapler, opening the boxes and touching each masubis, and other things behind the counter- all with the same pair of gloves. Very unsanitary!!! She was still confused with the orders and my friend had to go up and talk to her in spanish. She had our receipts mixed up and had the receipt with 5 masubis on my order with the 8 masubis. She kept insisting the cook in the back mixed everything and the masubis of each kind had to be next to each other. My friend was speaking spanish to her telling her to stop touching everything with her gloves, slow down, and realize what she is doing. She was grabbing the masubis and trying to put them in different boxes and my friend had to keep telling her to STOP TOUCHING EVERYTHING. Even the cook in the back was yelling at her to stop and everything on the receipt was there just in different boxes. She gave us our ordered finally after my friend checked the orders herself. I will not be eating them at all since she touched every masubi, ticket, counter, ipad, stapler, and fridge with the same gloves. What a waste of $52 dollars and I even tipped because we normally tip everywhere we go! She didn't even say thank you in the end. I can't even rate each masubi since they were grossly touched. I'm so sad because we love masubis and I wanted to support a small business. My friend and I are great with customer service and for us to get this frustrated takes a lot. Will not be coming back nor recommend this place to anyone. read more

So we follow them on instagram and we were so excited to try it. Small place off in the corner in a lack luster area in weird shopping center where all the other stores seem empty. Was able to order quickly but shocked at the prices which seemed high for smaller sized "Musubis". But then the proceeded to take over 35 min for our food. For a quick food restaurant that's ridiculous. Restaurant also either has no ac or they were skimping on the electric bill and had it off because it was hot as hell in there even with the door open (which eventually led to mosquito like gnats everywhere that even got into my ice water). There were only two guys working but for 9 dollars a musubi I think we can afford to shell out some money for more staff and working ac. Food was decent. But most likely won't come back due to pricing and poor experience. read more

I love spam masubi lol so I had to try this place. I got the imitation crab, soft shell crab, spam masubi with egg, spam masubi, bulgogi. Honestly it was a bit expensive for what you get, but it was good. Next time I'd just get the soft shell crab and regular spam masubi. A snack versus a meal if you will. An absolute surprise! We ended up in the parking lot looking for a place to eat, saw the "Grand Opening" sign and decided to take a look. We were encouraged when a random customer who had just gotten her food, returned just to say how much she enjoyed the food (and ordered more). And she was right! This is the same owner as Roba Noodle that used to be in the District in Tustin. The musibis are exactly the same as that place but now there's more variety. The place is small. Not a ton of seating. The staff were friendly. The cook was sweet. The musubi's were good. Good flavors. I did enjoy the truffle veggie musubi. The truffle was not overpowering at all. My sister had the chicken teriyaki bowl. Chicken was flavorful and moist. Not overcooked. We also ordered the spicy crab and crunchy shrimp musubi. This place kept coming up on my list of local places to try and since I was actually in the area the stars aligned. Also I wanted to eat somewhat healthy for at least one meal out of the day, heh. So of course when I saw miso salmon on the menu I was interested! It came with brussel sprouts which I was hesitant about because normally they just aren't for me, but wow, I ate all of them! Yum! And the salmon was absolutely perfection. Cooked just right with a delicious miso flavor and sesame seeds. I finished every bite. The service here was super friendly, as well. Seems like they get pretty busy with take out orders so I was happy to see it for this newer business. They also have tables to dine in which I ended up doing.
