This is one of those places you try but probably never return, because it'll never compare to the authentic pan dulce taste. Customer service is very lacking. Upon ordering in English, as my Spanish is not good, the lady taking my order, her mood instantly switched as if me not knowing Spanish was frowned upon.. I planned on placing a large order to try out their shakes and cake slices, but after the rude service I just pointed to the one item I wanted and took my money elsewhere. I order 3 churro concha's and 3 mazapán conchas.. had me waiting until I told the young lady in the front "I haven't got my bread"... I guess they gave my bread away to the wrong customer, and all they offer was if I wanted a different kind of bread. They couldn't make more of what I wanted because they were going to close. We visited this panadería because we saw a post on IG and wanted to check it out. We went in knowing prices were going to be a bit a bit expensive. We didn't know what to order so we got one of everything. We paid almost $40. We were so excited. We went home had our coffee and we picked what we wanted to eat. I had the vanilla custard empanada and my boyfriend had the Churro Elote and the Mazapán concha. He enjoyed the Mazapán concha and the Churro elote. The vanilla custard empanada was good but not great. I've had it from other panederias and it's always so soft and fresh. This had so much crunch for my taste. The family eventually finished the pan dulce. The birthday cake puercuito was drying out. I had the birthday cake concha and that was good. The dulce de leche cookie was amazing. My mother in law enjoyed the guava strudel. The chocolate chip butter cookie and sugar cuernito was a little dry. My father in law took some of the concha's to work and he said they were good. We went to loaded cafe and they gave us a free concha card so we decided to visit and see what it' was all about! The concha's are so fresh a warm. They taste delicious! I also got a dulce de leche little cake and it was so fluffy and soft definitely coming back to order another one! I tried a cafecito as well! I tried this place today... it's about a 10 minute drive from my house so that's a plus. I went around 12pm and got served quickly. I tried the cold abuelita mocha expresso and the mazapan concha. The code was not too sweet and had 3 shots of expresso- it was a nice balance of caffeine and flavor. My biggest pet peeve is coffee drinks that just taste like sugar. The mazapan concha was also tasty- not overwhelmingly sweet. I will be back! read more

The bread is good but the service seems like every time is worse. They don't have enough people to help customers. I have gone there several times and every time I go there is something wrong with my order. One time I placed an order for the mini conchas and I asked if they could have them ready by 7:30 am and they said yes. The day at the pick up time the order wasn't ready they said 10 minutes so we waited and after 10 minutes the order wasn't ready. They said another 5 minutes. We left because they should know if you set a time for your order is because u have things to do not just sit there and wait. I had to go back at a later time to pick the order. When I got home the order wasn't what I ordered. I was there yesterday again and once again my order wasn't right it seems like they just put on the order whatever they want or whatever they have without even asking if that ok. And they should ask because they are giving you things for free. read more

Saturday 2/24/24, was their grand opening and we showed up to purchase some sweet bread but we were denied service as we were not "influencers." It seemed like our business wasn't worthy and we were treated like second class citizens. Additionally, we weren't allowed to step on the pink carpet they had laid out in front of the entrance, and made us use an alternative route to remove us from the establishment. For a grand opening, it didn't seem to be much of a grand opening, if not, more of an influencer get together. The manager on duty on 3/1/2024 around 4pm, she didn't seem like she was qualified or had the knowledge of being a manager due to her work ethic. She stood around and watched her employee run around like a chicken with his head cut off, but she NEVER offered to take our order despite the other employee being bombarded with tickets. She constantly kept saying "we will be right with you" as she stood there just looking around. However, that young man who was working alongside the "manager" was outstanding! If it weren't for him, this place wouldn't be running. It's sad to see a "manager" boss around this poor kid and let him drown alone with all those orders. As a person who has worked in a successful company with outstanding hospitality for 10+ years, it makes me sad that individuals are hired who do not have what it takes to work in customer service industry and taking that extra step to make the guests visit memorable. What threw me overboard was her rude comment as she stared at the young boy for about 2 minutes and followed with "you're still not done?". A manager is supposed to be around to manage and HELP not be a BOSS. There's a difference. I hope this company has the best of luck to find the proper management to run this establishment and bring smiles to the customers, and keep bringing them back. First time I tried the conchas was at Loaded Cafe and we fell in love we even ordered a dozen to go. Decided to come in after my daughter's soccer practice around 8pm and there was a line but Daniela and Lesli were working super hard to get the lien moving. They were the only ones there so they were both on register, packing orders, making drinks AND baking. Props to them because the line just kept getting bigger after we got there. I think any other 2 people would've been stressed but they handled everything quickly and with smiles. We ordered the Churro concha, Mazapán concha and strawberry cake. Concha's were nice and warm and sooo good. My daughter had the cake and loved it. Drinks we got Oreo shake, cafe de olla frappe and abuelita mocha latte and all of them were great. I'm not a fan of conchas and I was hoping this would change my mind. It did not. The issue is always the imbalance between topping and plain bread. While the conchas here do help a bit, as the toppings are thick, for the most part, you still end up with a similar imbalance. These conchas are not bad, but not worth the drive if you live any distance from the shop. The coffees are made with Torani syrups, for the most part, and have that artificial flavoring finish. The cafe de olla does not cut it. The dulce de leche coffee tastes simply like it has been poorly artificially sweetended. The cake shake tasted like cereal milk though it was supposed to contain cake and cinnamon. I was hoping for better. The staff could not tell me much about the coffees beforehand except that the machine puts it together. If I'm buying a latte at a shop or restaurant, I want it to be hand crafted not a mixture of coffee and artificial flavborings, especially if i'm paying $6 for a medium cup. I'll pay a fair price for a good cup. But you cannot find one here. read more

Visited this new business with my husband. I was craving some good Mexican bread and read some positive reviews on this place. I ordered the vanilla and chocolate Concha's and the churro dusted bread. Thought the pastries were good. They were thicker than what I am used too when it comes to Mexican bread. It's almost cake like, a lot more flour is used. Very filling. The reason I only gave it 4 stars is because it's not the real taste of Mexican bread that I grew up with, however it is very tasty. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for something sweet. But the authentic Mexican bread that one is used too having can be found at a Mexican bakery or store. I would definitely give them a 4 it is a cute little place and I went with a friend who told be about it (she saw it on Tik Tok) so we were excited to see what all the rev was about. I brought some home for my husband and I to taste and my friend bought a LOT to take back to her family to taste so I am wondering what her thoughts are because she is probably more familiar with traditional Mexican bread and sweets. I am not a big fan of conchas in general so my opinion is probably not the best. I thought the Oreo concha was extremely sweet and did not taste like Oreos just a lot of sugar and cinnamon which is not a bad thing but was not what I expected. It did come to me warm and fresh. Everything smelt so good and everything is baked all the time. I also got a "New York" style cheese cake...it did not taste like a New York style cheese cake BUT it was good...I would start calling it "LA cheese cake" because it did have a twist of LA in there. It was not overwhelmingly sweet which I personally enjoy. Then they gave us each a free slice of peppermint cake which...(again) really did not taste like peppermint. It had rich cheesecake frosting (which I liked) shavings of white chocolate (again I liked) not to sweet (good because them conchas are insanely sweet LOL) and overall was a good piece of cake. I'd rename it the "Holiday" cake because it did have a piece of candy and the it was layered perfectly with holiday colors very pretty. (PRETTY) and THANK YOU. It Just did not taste like peppermint which actually probably is better because that could get to be too much. I had a decaf coffee GREAT! I can't have caffeine so I was happy. I only had them put milk in it because that's a lot of sugar SOOO if you are complaining about sugar it is a PAN Bakery PEOPLE COME ON just make sure your choices are good. The guy at the register was super nice he seemed new and that's okay because we are all new at something. The older female was kinda removed...not rude but not really friendly. Prices are good. Parking is rough...I have a big truck so I had to park on the street. Still it is okay. I think this place has great potential for some improvements, nice neighborhood cafe & bakery, fresh, clean, CUTE, wonderful for the culture and the people. I will definitely be back because there is a huge variety plus gift bags (great for holiday parties) of pastries that I want to try for me and my friends. read more
