There was so much hype surrounding this place that I thought I'd only be disappointed, but don't be distracted because this place is actually pretty good! The location of this shop is in a plaza near silver creek that is filled with other Asian restaurant and boba locations, so expect there to be difficulty finding a parking spot. I also believe that cool tea bar used to be in this location. Upon entering on a weekend, there was a super long line and a bunch of clean and modern decoration (however there was no empty spots because it was so packed inside). I ordered the strawberry hussle with cheese crema and it tasted super sweet and good! There was a good proportion of ice to drink and the cheese was a good contrast from the sweet flavor. Parking in this plaza can be pretty limited, but there's extra street parking/neighborhood parking in the area Ordered a thai tea and subbed out the milk for oat milk. The tea was pretty good, bit weird with the oat milk but hey...still pretty solid. The pearls were nice and chewy, not too sweet. Price was a bit on the higher side since they do charge .50 to sub oat milk. Right now this place stands as my favorite tea shop in South Bay. Sorry Tisane but you have to take the backseat with your sister Pekoe because N7 is riding shotgun with me from now on. I've been here a few times already and I haven't been disappointed except for when I have to wait in line. So far I've gotten the: [1] Mango Matcha ($4.75) - If you ever had the mango matcha at happy lemon this is different in the sense that it's more of a tea drink than a smoothy. I do admit that they give you a little too much mango puree but you can always ask them to adjust that. I love the milky foam that comes with the drink, it definitely helps tone down the sweetness and you can really taste matcha flavor. Many tea places that I go to say they use matcha but they use that lower grade green tea bs. This place is doing it right. [2] Assam nitro tea 50% sweet ($4) - The quality of tea is undeniable. It reminds of when Teaspoon back in the day before they expanded so much. When I first got the tea I thought it had milk in it but I think because they brew it somehow with nitrogen the foam makes it look milky. After a few minutes you can see the darkness of the tea and I think 50% is a good amount of sweetness but everyone should do 75% or 100% and see how they like it before adjusting it. I generally like my teas to taste like tea so I always go 50% everywhere I go. [3] Jasmine cheese crema 50% sweet ($4.25) - The jasmine flavor was a bit light so I think between the two black and green. I would go with the black tea which is that assam. It has a little more flavor to it but if your preference is still jasmine then by all means get this drink. It's rare for me but I probably would go 75% or even 100% with the jasmine tea. The cheese crema isn't as cheesy as happy lemon but it is still good. You still get that milky texture. I think if they decide to add salt to it. It will pull out more flavor but then again it would be like drinking a cheese cake, which SOUNDS AWESOME. So far this is my least favorite among the 3 that I got but still a good choice for you jasmine tea lovers. The biggest negative for me is that they don't have a rewards system yet. Please get FiveStars are something because it would only give you more business. I will still come but if there was like a promo or something that told me hey you are 2 points away from getting a free drink. You know where I would be inclined to go. Vibe: Feels like a nice lounge/bar, less noisy than others like Pekoe and less night club feeling, which is great for me. I'm not a fan of those dark rooms with loud music. All drinks come with adjustable ice and sweetness too. The store itself is very minimalistic with unfinished walls and dim lighting. It's a pretty good boba spot. It's located in the busiest plaza on the east side, so if you come at the wrong time you're bound to wait in a line. The cafe overall was decorated really nicely and they had a menu that was diverse but not overwhelming. Absolutely loved the house milk tea! It was creamy, sweet, and still had that strong tea flavor. I love my tea to have a bold flavor profile so I really give props to the shops that can bring on the taste. The Decoder was just as delicious and it legit tasted like coffee ice cream combined with the pirouline cookie wafers. I thought it was neat how the drinks used small, pebble ice which makes it fun and addictive for those ice biters out there. The interior has that industrial rustic aesthetic and I love how modern and spacious it is. I honestly wished this place is closer to Campbell so I can visit it more often. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had more coffee based drinks than most other boba places I've been to (hence the name I guess). Was seeing this place all over social media and one day came across it while getting dinner in this Paloma Plaza. It's located right by Hue- everyone knows this spot lol! Interior is decorated super modern and chic. Dim lighting, marble tables, and dark scheme walls. Very simple We ordered the strawberry hussle with lychee jelly and no ice since I was keeping it for work the next day. It was a mix of jasmine tea and strawberry they they blended up. Never had a drink like it and I really enjoyed it! Even til the next day it was good. Also ordered the matcha frappe with boba. They allowed us to sample the matcha to test the sweetness. And 100 regular is pretty sweet FYI. It was a smooth creamy taste and a balanced matcha flavor. Really liked it! Boba was good and chewy as well. The interior has completely changed from the previous business and it looks a lot more modern and hipster. However, the arrangement of the seats make the place feel a bit crowded. I notice the music is pretty loud here so I'm always trying to talk over the music. But what's important is the drinks and I think N7 has a good range of drinks to choose from. I've tried the strawberry hussle, house milk tea, and strawberry matcha. My favorite would have to be the house milk tea because it's not too sweet and you can taste the assam tea flavor. The strawberry hussle is refreshing but has more of a subtle taste to it. As for the strawberry matcha it was a bit too sweet, but it tastes exactly like it sounds; matcha with strawberry puree. Overall, the drinks here are solid and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes boba. read more

The Assam milk tea with the brown sugar crema was a good balance between sweet and creamy, and the boba had a good chew to it -Watermelon freeze, 25% sugar - watermelon infused nitro jasmine tea topped with fresh puréed watermelon. Ordered this for my mom who likes her tea barely sweet, and prefers fruit tea over milk tea. We both found the drink very refreshing and barely sweet in a good way, just like drinking homemade puréed watermelon with jasmine tea Pros: -Good drinks, tastes good quality -Quality cups (hard plastic and lids that have both the straw and direct drinking holes. They're taller and skinnier, similar to Teaspoon's cups) -Simple, neat decor -Lots of seating -Unique in that they have nitro style coffee and tea that they have on tap just like at a bar! My husband and I shared the strawberry hussle, which was nitro jasmine tea with fresh strawberry. I normally am not into sweet drinks and typically stay away from strawberry flavored drinks since it's all syrup anyways. However, N7 does it differently and they do it well -- better than any other place I've been to. The tea flavor is very evident in the drink and is not covered up by some gross sweetness. Not everything is amazing, but the ones that are good are REALLY freaking good. 5 star drink choices include the watermelon freeze, house milk tea, any of the nitro milk teas, and decoder (coffee drink). 3 stars to the mango matcha for being ridiculously sweet (50% sugar) and unnatural tasting. Note that the matcha itself was great, but the mango syrup concoction really threw it off. 3 stars to the strawberry freeze as well (I forget what it's called, but it's next to the watermelon freeze) for being too tart and unnaturally sweet as well (50% sugar). Honestly I don't think the nitro does anything different to the tea, I think it's just a gimmick to draw crowds in (worked for me!). The tea was quite heavy on the tea flavour so if you done like your tea too strong, beware! The cheese added a nice creaminess to the tea but omg the boba Herrera is delicious! They are a little bit smaller than your average boba but you get plenty of them. Small chewy balls of goodness! The inside is very hipster which gives it a twist on your traditional boba place. It was a bit of an awkward minute to get the cashier's attention away from her phone to place the order. Love the drinks here, especially the fruity teas! My favorite is the Strawberry Hussle - it has a sweet strawberry taste with fresh strawberry, but the jasmine taste in the drink is very defined as well. I also tried their house milk tea, and although it is good, it's very very creamy and I prefer the fruity tea more. I don't typically like very sweet drinks, but the Strawberry Hussle at regular sweetness is good for me. I've also tried it at 75% and it's good too. Super refreshing, really recommend it. They offer smoothies, egg puffs, iced teas, fruit teas, coffee, milk teas, and matcha drinks, so there are different types of drinks depending on what you feel like having. July 27 and 28 is their grand opening, and they're currently offering 10% off. I might come back tomorrow as well! The blonde girl with short hair, I believe her name is Celine, is friendly and very helpful. This boba shop replaced the previous Cool Tea Bar location, and I'm happy that it did! Drinks: the orange with lychee jelly was well balanced with citrus, the tea was flavorful and the lychee jelly worked well with the drink.
