It turns out they were here all getting food from none other than Al Mankal Grill, a longtime bookmark and one of the gems of Sugar Land. They're in good company, as there are multiple Halal trucks, serving different cuisines and specializing in all kinds of food. The local following is impressive, but seeing as they have a perfect rating across different platforms, they're clearly doing something right. I ordered the beef and lamb chunks, a $27 (with tax) which had the perfect amount of char with just a hint of smokiness. Despite the price, I was floored at how delicious it was. The chicken shawarma arabi ($12) is a popular choice, while the mixed grill ($18) provides some variety between the meats. The chicken skewer ($6) and lamb with fat ($7) were both outstanding. The guy behind the window was friendly and dealt with every customer in a long line with ease. Credit cards are most definitely accepted and the wait for the food ended up being somewhere around 20 minutes. Unlike the other food trucks, they actually have outdoor seating with a few (albeit janky) picnic tables. This spot will become one of my most frequent when I'm in the area.

I wasn't familiar with the menu but the server helped with that. Started with the oil and seasonings sent to the table with what appears to be crispy naan bread pieces. The dry seasons were separate from the oil which made it nice to use the amount one might prefer. My main course was the Kofta kabob served on a bed of rice with the cucumber and yogurt (or sour cream) sauce. Also a red sauce similar to mild hot sauce on the side for the rice. All of the food was very flavorful and in line with expectations for Middle Eastern foods. However, the rice was on another level. Almost a bit smoky but not quite. Tasted ver similar to the smell of a Sunday roast cooking in the oven. If you live in the area or are in the area for a business lunch, you should go.

The place is a good size inside with lots of tables & space & well decorated. The food was quite good. Ordered the tomato basil soup. It was very enjoyable. I also tasted the lentil soup which also was good but I give the edge to the tomato soup which had a little bit more flavor. The hummus with bread was so very good; it's a must get item! As a 1st time diner, we weren't sure what main dish to get but we got the musakhan (1/2 chicken sitting on a pita type bread) as recommended by a staff member who may have been the owner/manager. It was very very good! All I can say is it was my first visit but absolutely won't be my last! The food is so very good & the staff is super friendly & attentive. I look forward to trying other dishes.

Going inside, there was no one there besides a friendly auntie. She took my order and was very friendly, always smiling but you know she will whoop your a** if you get out of line. Haha, just kidding... or not. Inside was clean and tidy. Very simple with some chairs and tables. Zevo plug-in as there's some random fruit flies and other bugs - most likely because the light is bright inside and opening and closing the door have bugs attracted to the bright lights. If you hear random zap, don't be alarm. Just bugs dying. I was warned by a Pakistani friend that their beef biryani is very spicy and to order mild. Well, too bad cause I already ordered. Food came out in a timely matter, about 15-20 minutes. Beef biryani was spicy but tolerable for me as someone who can handle spice; I can still taste all the flavors with a hint of spice. If you love spicy then this is a good choice. Otherwise, make sure you ask for mild or little spicy. You have been warned. Butter chicken was delicious with big pieces of chicken meat. Combined with garlic naan, chef kiss. Their naan isn't what I'm used to, very fluffy and thick. However, I still enjoyed it. Not much of garlic taste but still good, nevertheless.

This isn't your typical middle eastern style shisha joint. It has a nice indo/pak vibe. The shisha was cheap and decent. You can choose which tobacco brand you want not just the flavors. They use good charcoal not that instalight crap. The food was really yummy and value priced. I ordered a cheeseburger with fries for only $5.99. The burger was not a pre-made patty. It was seasoned and had a nice kick. The bun could have been better quality but I love that it was grilled. Menu said burger came with onions, tomato, lettuce, and mayo. I got some lettuce, very little mayo, and no tomato or onions :-( It came with a lot of fries. They were crispy and dusted with a spicy seasoning. So good. But spicy. My hubby ordered chicken tender and fries. That was okay . Nothing special. My only complaint- the reason I would think twice about coming back is that while I was there there was some punk who plugged his phone into the stereo system and began playing music with nothing but fbombs and other curse words. I can handle a couple but song after song of bitches and hoes...trash. He also started playing videos of girls doing splits and twerking...really?! As a woman, it was offensive and derogatory. This is a place of business not that guy's personal phone. If I want to see that crap I'll head to Richmond. I hope the management will put a stop to that kind of stuff. Definitely worth checking out. Gives Red Sky and Delight a run for their money.

We ordered some zinger burgers as soon as we got there. 45 minutes later we were still waiting for our food, while the employees are walking around looking at us. I decided to go up the manager and let him know what's going on and complained about the time. After few minutes, he said there was no order placed. When he asked the server the server said he never took our order. Worst customer service ever! So finally an hour or so later we got our food and it was cold and disgusting. Music was very disturbing and too loud. I barely could understand my friend who was sitting next to me. Overall, bad music, bad customer service, bad food. Won't ever come back to this ghetto. If I could give this place 0 stars I would.
