I visited Nacho Daddy on April 24 with my family, hoping to enjoy a nice meal together. We simply requested a larger table, as our original table was too small for our party. Our original server was extremely kind, accommodating, and quickly helped us relocate. Unfortunately, what should have been a simple request turned into an uncomfortable experience. A bartender began yelling across the restaurant at our server about who would be taking our table. Our server repeatedly apologized to us while trying to handle the situation professionally. A manager or supervisor stepped in, but she appeared intimidated by the bartender and did not seem to have control of the situation. Instead of allowing our original server to continue taking care of us, we were assigned to the bartender who had just been arguing and yelling across the room. As guests, this was very uncomfortable to witness. We were simply trying to enjoy dinner with our family, and the situation took away from the experience. The bartender was polite once she came to our table, and the food was excellent, but the way the situation was handled was disappointing. Having worked in the hospitality industry for many years, I believe the manager may need additional support and training during shifts. It seemed as though the bartender calling the shots , rather than the manager leading it. Overall, the food was great, but the service experience left a lot to be desired. Me and my husband went here while visiting Las Vegas. From the get-go, the restaurant looked very nice from the outside, it's in a great location, I saw a number of people there so clearly it seemed popular. The hostess was nice. We were sat in a timely manner. Our waitress was very helpful In helping us decide what we wanted. My only complaint was the food. It wasn't necessarily bad, it tasted overall good. It's just the portions were a lot smaller than what I expected for the price we were paying. Their margaritas were amazing though. Me and two others came in last night about 8pm. We have eaten there before, and as me and one more in our party are vegetarians, know that the vegan food is incredible. We got our drinks and our food, and everything was delicious as ever, but what really compelled me to write this review was our server. James was absolutely incredible. We were looked after the whole evening, the food was out hot and fresh, our glasses were never empty, and the beer was ice cold. Although the food was excellent, his kind demeanor, and attentiveness really sold it. He provided us a level of service that I was honestly surprised to receive at a casual downtown restaurant. So flavorful and huge portion - immensely satisfying. I don't know how I'll ever order anything else but what if I'm missing an even better nacho? What's a girl to do?! In all seriousness, don't hesitate to visit Nacho Daddy if you like Nachos. We love all things nacho and really loved our meals here. The booking process through the sales manager was a bit of a painful process because of delayed response times and employees for the booking kept changing and seemingly not communicating. The group prices were insanely affordable so I pushed through. This is a 5 star review 100% because of Kevin and his staff!!! From the moment I arrived he went above and beyond to make sure we were happy, and all of my needs were taken care of. Came in here as a group of 4 while visiting Fremont Street. The place has a great vibe- music may be loud for some people but it was fine for us. This location has a different vibe than the Nacho Daddy on the strip. I appreciated the southwestern kind of decor with scorpions! I liked how open the restaurant is and it's very light inside. The menu is the same as the strip location. I got the carnitas nachos which were great. I also went for the beer flight which was really good - I would definitely come back and have beer again.
