This past visit was just okay. It's been awhile since I actually dined in and the service was off. We ordered a chicken pho and a wonton soup and an order of egg rolls to start. Our waitress walked over grabbed menus, walked back and set them on a table and just walked away. She got our order wrong twice. I ordered egg rolls and she brought out shrimp spring rolls. I asked for a plain chicken pho. Broth, chicken and rice noodles. The soup came out with onions and cilantro. We were trying to enjoy our soup and another employee sat behind us on his phone who kept hacking up his loogies. I immediately stopped eating and I lost my appetite. We were so terribly disappointed that I won't be even ordering to-go from here.

I can eat this everyday! There were new young staff and i was expecting service would be different but it was still the best service. Place is clean and job well done, craving satisfied!

went there a second time to try other foods ordered the shrimp pork spring rolls, brisket pho, and beef shrimp rice dish all were ok, nothing spectacular, quick and cheap Vietnamese food peanut sauce, had less of a peanut flavor, and a but runny brisket pho broth lacked flavor beef shrimp rice dish, beef was thinly sliced, and there were only 3 small pieces of shrimp

Noodle Cafe in Sparks is a hidden treasure. It has fantastic Pho, great broth, and lots of healthy choices. Thank you to Eli for excellent service, Tony and Tan for asking if we would like more broth for our Pho. Yes please! Nice atmosphere, great food, fair prices. Loved it. Julie A

At first, I was a bit lost looking for this place because I couldn't see "Nam Van" On the sign. Glad I found it. This is comfort food at its finest. I can't wait to go back and try their pho! We ordered to go. The staff was very nice and generous with their sauce packets and made sure we had everything we needed. The place looked very clean and organized as well. We got fried rice, shrimp chow mein & shrimp spring rolls. Everything was amazing and so flavorful. E will be coming back soon!(:

I have always seen this cafe and found that they sell pho and boba! If only I knew, I would have came and tried them earlier. The price of the actual drink is a lot cheaper than most places. The boba part is where it's more expensive than most places. I got the Hazelnut Milk Tea with boba. The hazelnut flavor is good. The boba is softer than I would like, but it is still good. We ordered the Pork and Shrimp spring roll. It came with a side of peanut sauce. The spring roll was delicious! Definitely recommend. The we got two bowls of pho with different meats. The broth is not as flavorful as I would like, but the noodles are good. It is not over or undercooked. The well-done brisket was sliced too think and too chewy. However, the other meats were alright. The service was quick. The place looked clean. When you come in, you can just order boba because that is what a lot of people I saw came in for. If you want to sit down for food, they let you pick wherever you want to sit. I would come back especially because it is so close to where I live.

I've heard good things about this place but am rarely up in Sparks. I swung by to pick up some takeout after being in the area for a doctors appointment. It was hard to find at first because Apple Maps took me to the building next door instead. I was also looking for a sign that says Nam Van but all the signage says on the building is Noodle Cafe. I can't speak to the service since we just did takeout. The inside is on the smaller side, it's a dine-in restaurant but they also have bubble tea that you can order at the counter. They had my order ready promptly when I arrived about 10-15 mins after I called to place the order. My husband got chicken pad Thai and I got the wonton pho soup! We both really liked our dishes. Affordable, flavorful, large portion sizes. My husband got medium spice level with some additional spicy chili sauce on the side. He ended up using all of the extra sauce because he said it needed more spice. It was not his favorite pad Thai he has had recently but it's up there on his list! I liked that my soup came with at least 5-6 wontons plus chicken and pork. I wish this place was closer to NW Reno where we live because I could see us coming back fairly often for takeout in the future!

Service was quick and food was fresh. The amount of rice noodle to fresh veggies (cucumber, lettuce, bean sprouts) was a bit overwhelming but the really odd part was it looked like someone made rice noodles and then cut them to be the size of rice??? Doesn't change the taste of dish but was not what I was expecting or wanting.

First time actually eating inside the restaurant. We always get it to go. Our favorites are the spring roles, bbq pork and rice and won ton soup. It was nice to eat there for once. The server was so friendly and very quick. Our food as delicious. I also ordered some food to go and they kept it hot until I was ready to leave. There are only about 10 or so tables inside but plenty of room for larger parties.

So, check out the menu before a visit to make sure they have what you are looking for. Pros: Yummy appetizers, spring rolls, vermicelli bowls, pho (beef was especially good), and speciality drinks. Other items too I am sure but this is what I have sampled so fat. Con: They really toasted the bread on the Bahn mi, on all times someone at our table has ordered it, it is a struggle to eat, especially for smaller mouths/ those in braces. So ask for it an adjustment- if you need it softer. They are more expensive than other options in the area.

I love their iced classic drip coffee with condensed milk (cà phê sữa đá) and the iced pandan coconut iced coffee. So far I've tried the Saigon banh mi with the classic combination hams, the baguette was crunchy and fluffy and the hams were thinly sliced paired with the classic pickled daikon and carrots, a lot of parsley and jalapenos but it wasn't the best banh mi I've ever had. I've also tried the pistachio ricotta cake which was not overly sweet. I've always loved the service here with the clean tables and cute aesthetics and friendly staff. Food and drinks comes out fairly quickly. It's a great place to get delicious coffee and try different Vietnamese food.

We decided to order the combination family meal so everyone could try a variety of dishes. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted like old friends. Even though it had been a while since our last visit, the staff remembered us, which made us feel so welcome. I love the ambiance here. It's quaint, clean, and comfortable, with soft lighting, relaxing background music, and cozy booths that make it a perfect place to enjoy a meal and catch up with friends. We started with soup. I had the hot and sour soup, which is always my favorite, and our friends tried the flower soup, similar to egg drop soup, for the first time. They really enjoyed it! For appetizers, we shared the prawn, egg rolls, and crab Rangoon, and everything was delicious. For our main course, we enjoyed the Szechuan chicken, Hunan chicken, sesame chicken, and the vegetable plate. Every dish arrived hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The service was outstanding. Our server checked on us often, kept our water glasses full, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. We always have a wonderful experience at Chin Chin, and this visit was no exception. Great food, excellent service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere keep us coming back. We highly recommend it!

The Wok is one of those places, and Sichuan/Chongqing food is one of those things that I'm jealous of people who get to experience it for the first time. Here's how to have an epic time at The Wok: Step 1. Get 4 to 8 people total that aren't afraid to try something a little different and maybe slightly spicy (seriously though it's not actually that spicy). If you need help with this step message me, I'd share a meal with some random people if it's at The Wok. Step 2. Flip to the back page of the menu, and order a few things that sound good to the group. Don't waste your time with the American Chinese menu (even though what I've had off of that menu is actually really good too). Make sure to get a decent mix of stuff like appetizers, veggies, noodle, soup, and meat dishes. Also don't be afraid to order multiple times. This gives you more time with the menu, and you can judge what sounds good in the moment. Step 3. Share the food family style with everyone until you are all full.
