Read all the 1 star reviews and go somewhere else. The waitress/ thinks she the owner is down right mean. She's very rude and if you let her know this isnt what you ordered she'll will ask you to leave. If you make any comments, complaints she'll ask you to leave. It's obvious she bad for business! If you read the description on the menu it's not what's on your plate. Not sure if the cook can't read and follow traditional Asian cuisine. Do yourself a favor find another restaurant with great costumer service. The same goes for their other restaurant they own next door sushi Rose horrible and the food is not good. The family owned restaurant has been an icon in the community for many years. My wife remembers seeing the "kids" in the restaurant. Great choices and large variety of delicacies in Chinese food. This is our main "go to". This time we enjoyed hot tea, beef & snow peas, lettuce wraps and the "stars" appetizer. Service was fast from the start seating us quickly. TLDR: Decent Panda Express food. I mean, I think all the Chinese food up here is pretty much geared to Americans, except maybe Kwok Bistro. This is another one. I ordered my usual Sesame Chicken. This one serves big pieces. But I can't believe I'm going to say this, but too MUCH sauce! It was practically a soup. The chicken was fine. I wish it were less liquidy, more saucy and sticky. I didn't like the noodles they use for chow mein. It's hard to explain. But I like fatter noodles. My wife ordered a non-spicy eggplant dish. She thought it was ok. I have been going to Asian Wok for what seems like two decades and have never been disappointed. One thing they do perfect is noodles, cooked to al dente, never sticky or starchy. Today we split the Mu Shu Pork and an order of Hot and Sour Soup. The Mu Shu was delicious, not overcooked so the vegetables still had a little bit of crisp to them. They do the rolls for you, four of them, excellent as always. Their Hot and Sour soup is one of the tastiest in town: just the right "bite" to it and lots of meat, tofu and vegetables. I eat here regularly, my standard Chinese food to go. I've been slowly working my way through every dish on the menu. Zero complaints. Always order the crab rangoons. Would recommend, nothing fancy, but they always have your food ready in 10 minutes, very reliable. It has been over 4 years since my last review of Asian Wok, and my love for this spot has only grown and matured! We try to get quick American Chinese food elsewhere... we really try to go outside the box and try new things... but man, there's nothing like Asian Wok. They are quick and friendly. They fulfill any additional requests like extra chopsticks or (yes, still) adding black bean sauce to the beef broccoli. They are as good as they've ever been! A new favorite of ours is the crispy sesame beef. The sauce is sticky sweet and super duper yummy with the savory crispy beef. The bounty of sesame seeds sprinkled on top also add a great nuttiness. We've also been loving the fresh crispy egg rolls and BBQ pork chow mein. In the age of take-out and delivery dinner options, Asian Wok had stood it's ground as far as fast-casual Chinese food goes. I'm so happy to have this solid place in our neighborhood, and I'm grateful for the consistency that they've maintained throughout the years. I didn't have high expectations when my husband suggested we try Asian Wok Mae Anne last night, but it ended up being a nice surprise! While the restaurant itself is not super inviting, the staff was very attentive and the food -- the food was very good! Reasonably priced, fresh, and tasty! We started with an order of Vegetable Egg Rolls, and very soon thereafter our mains came out: Shrimp Fried Rice, which had plenty of fairly large shrimp, and Shrimp in Szechuan Sauce, which also had plenty of shrimp and lots of fresh veggies! If you want fresh, tasty, reasonably priced Chinese food served quickly, this is your place! Also, I would note that our local Chinese restaurants could probably use a little boost in business these days because people seem to be unnecessarily avoiding them due to the health news in China. I decided to try this place the other day, because i love Chinese food, ive never eaten here, and its nearby. I ordered the Kung Pao beef, chow mein, egg foo young, egg rolls all with steamed white rice. I did not place a phone order, i actually ordered in person to go. The lady was really nice and the prep of the entire order was less than 15 minutes, which is pretty fast if you ask me. The Kung Pao beef was really tasty, the sauce they used was tangy and delicious. The chow mein was decent, nothing special about it, but not plain either. The egg rolls were thick and freshly fried, very tasty! You can tell they are not frozen, they are the real deal, made by hand and fried to order. The real gem here was the egg foo young. First of all, its giant patties! It comes with a nice rich gravy and alot of it at that! The noticeable difference is that the gravy has all kinds of veggies in it, like a stir fry. Seriously, ive never had it this way but it was great! Broccoli, carrots, onions all within the gravy. It was more like a typically tasty egg foo young gravy with all kinds of veggies in it! The only thing that was a let down was the steamed rice. It was stale, like it had been sitting around all day (which im sure it had). I was hoping for fresher rice (next time im going to order fried rice, in the hopes its made on the spot) but yea,the steamed rice was meh. If you're looking for a solid Chinese takeout option, don't pass this place up! We live very close to this restaurant which is how we first stumbled upon it. We've actually only ever gotten it as takeout, but it's always some of our favorite takeout to get! We usually order an appetizer, soup, two entrees, and fried rice which comes out to around $50! Such a great deal. Especially since this gives us enough food for leftovers the next day! They have a mobile ordering system that makes it easy to place your togo orders. They usually have our food ready within 15 mins of placing our order. The parking lot is shared for several businesses, so there are plenty of places to park. We get the crab cheese stars as an appetizer every time and they are incredible. You get 10 per order which is a very generous portion size. The outside is crispy and the inside has a tasty seafood cream cheese filling. I order the small soup and it comes in a pretty big container. We switch up our entrees every now and then, but my favorite is the chicken with mushrooms! Everything is tasty, portion sizes are great, prices are affordable. May not be the best Chinese food I've ever had, but it certainly ranks high for us as a place where you'll consistently get a good Chinese food experience! read more

I have been coming here for years! I used to live right behind this place in the apartments. They have pretty good vegetarian options. The staff is ALWAYS kind and welcoming. The food has been fresh and fast the times I have visited. The only piece of constructive criticism is I wish they had a better phone system. I have been on the phone and it will be busy for a long time. You gotta want it and keep calling til you get through, trust me, the food and service is worth the work. I love this place and it's become our go-to for Chinese takeout since our favorite, Chinese Duck House, is a bit too far away for takeout orders. My go-to order is the war wonton soup, which is loaded with veggies, chicken, beef, shrimp, and wontons. The broth to substance ratio is 1:1, and nothing ever tastes soggy like it's been sitting there for hours or days. My husband tends to mix it up a bit more with chow main, Mongolian beef, sweet and sour pork, etc and it's all been delicious. I've never eaten at the restaurant or had a chance to try the specials or combo meals with Sushi Rose but definitely adding to my radar for the future. I would give this place 5 stars for yummy food, good prices, kind staff, etc but I can't give them 5 stars when they literally never answer their phone. It used to be that my favorite Chinese food place in town was the one over by Atlantis that's open until 3am, 24/7. Don't get me wrong... super late night, drunkin Chinese food will always be had there, and I LOVE the unique and delicious options they offer. However, I've recently moved in with my new boyfriend and we've been exploring the new side of town we live in together for great food options. Being far away from my normal place, and growling stomachs forcing us to eat close to home, our yelp searches took us to Asian Wok! So let's break this down as to why I'm beginning to lean towards this place as my new favorite... first, it's cheaper for more food. You truly can't beat this lunch special, that comes with an egg roll and a side of soup. It reminds me of a place in Carson I grew up eating at. Second, they have "Wok Specials" available all day, that come with chow mein AND fried rice with whatever entree you choose off their list. I LOVE being able to get both items in my dinner plate... an option the other place doesn't allow anymore. You can't get rice AND chow mein at the place by Atlantis, you have to choose just one. The egg drop soup is AWESOME. Now don't get me wrong... I truly love egg drop, and pretty much any way it's made is going to be awesome. The place by Atlantis puts a lot of chunky veggies in theirs, which I don't mind... but... Asian Woks egg drop is more like the ones I'm used to from my childhood and I like being able to sip it back without having to worry about veggies getting in the way of my slurping. Finally, after trying three different entrees here, I can confidently say that nothing we've gotten so far was bad, or flavorless. The garlic chicken is crispy and garlicky and good. The beef and veggies is FULL of veggies and beef in an awesome brown sauce that my boyfriend gets every time. And I tried the shrimp in lobster sauce from the lunch menu and it was SO GOOD. And for that price point you can't beat it. That's why I think we've definitely found our new favorite place to go for Chinese, and I'm super excited to try more... especially the sweet and sour pork!!! Next time! read more
