My family used to have Nancy's all the time when k was growing up. I recently tried their pizza, boneless wings, and mozzarella sticks and I'm so glad I did! The thin crust pizza is perfectly made. I don't care for too much sauce but Nancy's gets the sauce to cheese ratio just right. I know many people don't care for boneless wings, but I'm a fan! Def suggest adding to your order. Both of the bbq sauces are delicious! The mozzarella sticks weren't my favorite (won't be ordering them again) but they do come with a pesto aioli that was very tasty! read more

Pizza was very good and made exactly how I requested: thin crust, light sauce, well done, 1/2 plain 1/2 sausage onion banana pepper. I'm a NY/NJ pizza guy so this is different than what I'm used to but it was very good and so far some of the best I've experienced in Chicago. read more

The pizza is so good. They have a lot of cheese pull and their chocolate chip cookies are delicious. They're a little melted and it's a little crispy on the outside. The inside is interesting and their bar stools spin. I prefer the flat pizzas to the stuffed pizzas here. read more

On my husband's and my first night in Chicago, we decided to use Door Dash to order our first deep-dish just for the heck of it. We had Lou Malnati's in our itinerary and some other pizza locations, but had not come across Nancy's Pizzeria. In fact, we thought this was another small pizza shop amongst the many others in the area that are also named with some random name before "Pizzeria." We ordered The Tony's seeing as how it was highly recommended. I remember removing a slice and seeing SO MUCH CHEESE PULL! My husband and I were both DROOLING and so excited to try the pizza. Needless to say, we were impressed and found the pizza to be SO GOOD. We had ordered a medium, not knowing how big that really was and had some leftover. We tried Lou Malnati's the next day and as recommended, tried a pizza that we wouldn't normally get. We weren't too happy about it and felt that Nancy's was much better in comparison. We raved about how a small pizza shop could be so delicious, and didn't know where we went wrong with recommendations. After some more researching, imagine my surprise when I found out that Nancy's is a chicago-chain!! Anyway, I really didn't want to leave without having Nancy's again, so we ordered door dash again on our last night here. I have had Nancy's pizza prior to visiting this location. I have been to their Niles (Golf Road near Greenwood) location and another suburban location which is now closed. I decided to check out this location because I won a gift card from them. I have been here twice now and done take out (once before the lockdown and once after the lockdown started). I ordered their stuffed pizza, thin crust pizza and rustic crust pizza. Their stuffed and thin crust pizzas are my favorite. I like their pizza sauce a lot. For me, having a good pizza sauce is an important base for making a good pizza. I like how they put your choice topping under the cheese in their thin crust pizza. For the stuffed and the thin crust pizza, the crust is perfect to my liking. I don't mind if Nancy's is local chain or that people consider stuffed pizza as touristy gimmick pizza. I have always been a fan of Chicago's deep dish and stuffed pizza. This restaurant has a good looking dining area. The atmosphere is friendly. Their service is good. The menu has a good variety but the food is expensive. I like going here and will continue to do so whenever I get a chance. Check them out if you haven't yet. read more

I had my family visiting from out of state and we visited Nancy's Pizza Chicago - West Loop. This was my first time visiting Nancy's, and I chose it solely on reviews. Nancy (no relation to the owner) was our server and she was incredible. Overall, the food was good - we had two deep dish pies (Medium/Large), 28 wings, a thin crust for the kids, a large salad, some Brussel sprouts and some beers. There was construction around the building, so it was a little hard to find, but once we did we were happy with what we found. The restaurant has a nice bar, some high tops and a decent amount of tables. Food came out pretty quickly, other than the pies (what is expected with a deep dish). So far, these are the best deep dish pizzas I have had in the city. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended if you're in the area. read more

I ordered Uber Eats this one snowy evening in Chi-town when I was stranded for business because my flight to Cle had been canceled. It was a rather disappointing evening and I have to give all the cred to Nancy's for turning that around! I know people go on and on about Lou's, Giordano's and countless other pizza places, but no one had told me about Nancy's deep dish yet! I found it on the app and saw it had been in biz since 1970's and said, well, they must be doing /something/ right! Indeed they are! I got a personal sized deep dish pizza which was def way too large for just me, RIP remaining bits of gooey cheesy deep dish pizza resting on my hotel countertop. The crust was absolutely perfect with that nice crisp texture but soft center, filled with a huge gooey pile of mozzarella and topped with that mildly spicy but sweet marinara that hits the spot one million percent. I had to eat this sucker with a knife and fork, which is likely expected, but one slice was enough to just blow your mind and give you all the nightly euphoria needed... which was actually quite coincidental since it was the exact show I began binging afterwards. I only have good things to say about this place and next time I'd take my friends or fam inside to give it a sit-down-experience. read more

The best pizza!!! Nancy's has been one of our go-to pizza place lately. We usually order a lot a meat in size M for thin crust for two people. And we even have plenty of leftovers. All the meat toppings are thick and juicy, while the crust is firm but buttery and crunchy. I forget about how many calories I am consuming and just devour the food. It is just perfect. Sadly, what's not so perfect is the delivery. We usually order from DoorDash and the food almost always arrives later than the expected time. I will never order from another pizzeria again. My wife ordered from here based on the DoorDash reviews. The Thin Crust Pizza is the only way to go and we ordered the meat pizza. The crust is crisped to perfection and even when reheated, it was still crispy. The meats were top tier and they were not stingy on the toppings at all. Went to the grand opening of Nancy's in the west loop, first time having their pizza/hearing about it. We started out with a spritz (Aperol & Prosecco) which was very refreshing. Could use a little more Aperol. For appetizer we ordered the fresh homemade mozzarella sticks which came with two dipping sauces: marinara and pesto aioli. I was really impressed with the pesto as I've never used that as a dipping sauce for mozz sticks. The owner brought us brussel sprouts w/honey & Dijon, which were really flavorful. However, I like my brussel sprouts a little crispy/broiled vs. soft. For entree, we ordered a medium stuffed pizza (there were 3 of us) with pepperoni and a side of giardiniera. The sauce is what made the pizza for me, unique but delicious flavor. Medium was perfect size for 3 given the two apps we had. Comes with 6 decently large slices. I really like Nancy's pizza. I have not eaten there but I've had it delivered many times. Pizza: I have had their: thin crust, deep dish, and Gluten Free Pizza. My favorite is the thin crust. I've had a variety of toppings and have not been disappointed in the quality or any of them. Their deep dish pizza is good- I'm personally not the biggest fan of deep dish in general but it still good. The gluten-free pizza I ate with a friend with Celiac and we both enjoyed it. It was good enough for me to eat too- but if that friend isn't eating with me- I'd choose regular thin crust. To my knowledge the gluten-free is only available in one size and only in thin crust. Salads: I've not been disappointed by the salad quality. I really like the Caesar Salad and their mixed greens salad. Both had quality and free ingredients in my experience. The dressing arrives on the side and they tend to give multiple containers of it. Desserts: I love a good Cannoli! They have classic cannoli and I think they do a good job with it. Around the end of the year they offer a variety of flavors (one of each) to include a chocolate one and a peppermint one- I thought they were fun and delicious limited time offering. They also offer several flavors of Ben and Jerry's ice cream as well. I am hoping some day they offer slices of chocolate cake. Packaging for take out: I have not had any issue with things spilling and anything left over can be repacked to enjoy the following day in their original containers. We tried Nancy's Pizza again last night and it was a night and day difference! I am not sure what the issue was the first time, but this time feels more in line with other reviews and photos I have seen. We had the super-thin crust with hot giardiniera as well as the regular thin with pepperoni and banana peppers. Both were delicious and cooked properly this time. Their ranch isn't too shabby, either! The only thing that can make this place better is if the thin crust was a little more cracker-like. It still needs that crunch when you bite it, which this one sadly hasn't achieved. But, that's a minor note in the overall taste.
