5 stars for the service department today. This was my first time going to this location. The place was clean and in order. I was greeted by Tamo, he's the detailer guy. He showed his work another Lincoln and it was smoking. He showed me a thing a two about the color and what products I should use on my Lincoln MKC. He made me feel really good about coming to this location. He said he worked for Napleton for 25 years and he really like working there. He made me feel the family spirit at this location. I came to this location looking for an oil change and since I got there a little later in the day, it was too late. I ended up hanging up there for a while and meeting good people like Mike the parts guy. He helped me out with some parts that was needed. He was very thorough about the parts. In a current nightmare situation with this dealer. Bought a Yukon 5 days ago. Within hours several issues popped up. Dead battery, trailer brake system error warning, 3 different transmission codes came up when the service engine light came on. Car wasn't detailed. They won't take the car back/cancel the sale and didn't have a loaner for us when they took it for service. Additional issues- no remote Or headphones for the tv that the car comes with.(maybe my fault I didn't notice). Only gave me one key that works. I feel as if I was hoodwinked & bamboozled by this dealership. I was sold a car that had a non-functioning back up camera. I could see the lines indicating my distance to other objects but not any images. Since it's an older car I thought maybe the black screen was normal or could be turned on later via the touch screen. After seeing that it actually was just broken I called & asked could I have it looked at. (Since the salesperson told me any issues with the car they would take care of for free). I was told someone would call me back to schedule a repair. When I didn't get a call, I called back only to be told that "Kirk" said they knew the camera didn't work. I called back & asked to speak to him & he basically said too bad so sad. His reasoning was it's a used car & was a good deal so I shouldn't assume everything would work correctly. His entire attitude was dismissive & offputting. I am still within the window to return the vehicle & am considering doing so. I understand that it's an older car & everything may not work, however they should have made me aware at the point of sale. This kind of dishonest & shady representation is why people feel the way they do about car salesmen. Why would you sell someone a faulty product without telling them about it? Being from out-of-state, I inquired about a used vehicle through a salesperson, Tim. I explained to Tim that I would be flying to his dealership and driving 1,000 miles home and if the vehicle was worthy of the trip. Tim assured me that the vehicle would make the trip with no problems and that the vehicle came with a 90 day warranty. I also asked Tim to take pictures of any vehicle damage and send them to me. Tim took several pictures but neglected to send all damaged areas. We flew to Illinois to pick up the vehicle and found gouges in the rear bumper, scratches on the trunk, and paint on the passenger side of the vehicle. Tim did have the shop attempt to buff out the paint. Once we got to the finance deaprtment the total was a little more than the signed buyers agreement but we were able to negotiate back to the agreed amount. During my drive home a warning indicator of low voltage illuminated on the dash. I was able to make it home and had a service department determine I needed a new battery. I contacted Tim to see if the $188 battery was under warranty or if he would reimburse me for the battery, just crickets. The vehicle I purchased was $21,000 therefore the battery should have been replaced. It has been over a month since I purchased the vehicle and I have not received my registration documents with my temporary registration now expired. I would not reccomend this dealership. read more

Car is was interested in got body damage on hood and side of the car, I asked for a little discount to take care of it myself and do it right. Michael K offered " a couple of hundred dollars" for damage with dent on the middle of the hood with deep scratch all the way to bare metal. Trade in estimator on their website gave me a range between $11k-$13k, but he offered $8k. When is showed him that he said he is not interested in buying my car as a trade in. I had done a lot of research and had narrowed my search to a few different vehicles and to be honest, I'd have been happy with ANY of them (they were all basically the same price point and similar features). The reason I gave Napleton my business was because from the moment I stepped into the showroom I was treated with respect and kindness, given straight answers and never once was I talked down to simply because I'm a woman- something that salesmen at both Grossinger Toyota and Castle Honda couldn't do. They were respectful of the fact that my first visit was really a factfinding mission and didn't pressure me to make any big decisions on the spot- GREATLY appreciated since I was fitting the visit in on a busy day and needed to pick up my kid at a specific time! Brian was just lovely- very down to earth, straight shooter. I felt he had my best interests at heart and got Nick to assist on some paperwork since he had a day off scheduled after I'd decided on the vehicle. Then I was told that based on information from the general sales manager, "YOU ARE NOT WELCOME HERE". Being astonished, I further inquired about my warrantee from Lincoln Motor Company and was told "not here". The service person was attempting to be polite but said "it is my job to tell you that you are not welcome here" and that "service would not be provided at Napleton". No reason or explanation was offered despite my paid for service warrantee contracts. I am a 76 year elder senior and certainly did not expect to hear this kind of abuse in the retail market and certainly not from a Lincoln Motor Company dealership. Follow up with the Better Business Bureau arbitration efforts resulted in the dealership not wanting business but rather juvenile bully revenge and punishment. read more

My wife and I purchased a new car from Napleton Lincoln in April 2014, when they were located in Park Ridge. The dealer experience was top notch. Great salesperson (Matt) with no hard sell, lots of patiently explaining how all of the tech worked in our new ride. It was the best new car purchase experience I've ever had. Fast forward to October 2014 and it's time for our first oil change. I emailed last week to set up an appointment for today. They said no appointment needed, just stop on in. So I did. Took about two hours to perform the oil and filter change, tire rotation, and check out a couple of other things at my request. In and out with no issues and no confusion. Can't beat that. The facility is new and shiny and has a comfortable waiting area with wifi, TV, water and coffee, and a couple of guest desks if needed. I was able to sit and catch up on work while I waited. Have you heard of the phrase "dealer is stealer"? This is exactly who they are. Bought a car from them in 2016, they sold me a protection plan that would repair windshield cracks or minor dents for $1000. No condition or restriction was explained to me, They finance guy exaggerated "they would fix any small dings as many times as it has and if a rock hits our windshield, they'll fix it". 3 years later, a rock hit my windshield and caused a crack that immediately longer than 6 inches. I called to activate the protection, as you could guess by now: it's denied because of the limitation of 6 inches. Why did I call the stealers? Because there's an ENTIRE page, REGULAR print (yep, not small tiny prints) with several places that require my initials. I was misled with that product. Their argument was this " had you known this 6-inch exclusion, you would not have bought the protection?" The truth is - had I been fully disclosed the terms and conditions, I would have laughed at it and said no, because on one of the lines that I was supposed to put my initials was the disclose of what kind of dents and how they would fix them: any dent that they can manually push out with BARE HANDS would be fixed, no paint job, no tools. hahaha. My neighbor did that for my previous minivan a few times when my teenager kid bumped into a pole and cause dents. I've called many times, they ignored my phone calls, wait weeks after weeks. When I finally talked to Adam, the finance guy, he was rude and belittling. I am a minority woman and was prayed by this dealer stealer. Much to my surprise, they had a slightly used 2018 black MKX( I assume it was a turned in lease). This is exactly what my wife wanted! I sat down with the salesman and we struck a deal.
