Unassuming store front restaurant in a little mini strip mall. Clean and tidy inside and the staff was nice. I ordered from the Lunch menu....got the Pad Thai with BBQ Pork and an egg roll. Nice flavor, but not mind blowing. Just solid food with a great price ($9). The Pork was actually nice and there could have been more to round out the dish. If I could give them three and a half stars, I would for the egg roll and the dishes they used. The egg roll was nice and crispy, with great flavor. Should have gotten an order of those. And the dishes that the food is served in looks like leaves...very pretty.

Tempura Shrimp and vegetables and a cucumber salad

This is my pick for Asian cuisine in the Elmhurst/Villa Park area. Never been disappointed. This time for lunch I had their Shrimp tempura appetizer and cucumber salad as an entree. Hot, crispy and delicious , and with all the tempura fried vegetables it was plenty. Loved the peanut vinaigrette it was served with. Brought home an order of the Vietnamese Pho, could use more layers of flavor in the broth, but enough for 2. Can't wait to go back.

Honestly INCREDIBLE. Super fast, the service was awesome and prompt, soup came free of charge by surprise, and the prices were perfect. Now what really matters, the food!! I have had a lot of Thai, and the panang curry I ordered was out of this world. Full of flavor, savory, great quality meat not smelly or tough in any way, piping hot and fresh. Couldn't honestly be happier with my new Thai lunch spot. Would highly recommend. Update 7-14-19. I'm highly inclined to believe the management has changed as the usual complimentary soup was not included and I was forced to order upfront at the cashier instead of a normal waiter or waitress serving. I ordered the same thing as last time, chicken Panang curry. It was not the same and definitely not as savory and full of flavor, I'm sad to see the change but still a decent lunch spot...

Nathan Noodle is just a small local Thai place in a crummy little strip mall. Don't let the name or the appearance fool you. I've stopped here for lunch and can tell you Nathan's has pretty darn good food and perfect service. I have had the Pad Thai and my wife has had the Pad See Ew. Both good. If you come at lunch and eat in, expect free soup with your lunch special too. A bit weird, they have a 5% surcharge to pay with your plastic. Bring cash and save a buck.

Mushy Wontons in Wonton Egg Noodle Soup.. not shrimp as advertised

I feel bad giving a bad review but I just ordered uber eats from here for the first time and was less than impressed. I ordered the crab rangoons and "wonton egg noodles". Rangoons were good, tasty and I ate them all. Liked the sauce! however, the wonton egg noodles were hardly edible. The noodles themselves were fresh and yummy, but the wontons were 1.) not shrimp as advertised, pork 2.) so mushy the dough was falling off. The pork slices were gray and i didn't even try to eat them because they looked bad. The meat inside the wontons also looked like it was old and bad, tasted unpleasant. Attached pics. It's very rare for me not to finish a meal when i'm this hungry, but i couldn't stomach wonton noodle soup. Maybe I shouldn't have gone with this more obscure menu item, i'll probably try stir fried noodles if I come back and give another chance. Just stay away from wonton noodle soup

Thai food here is mediocre at best. Definitely take out worthy but dining in is sub par. They're understaffed therefore not as attentive.

Very nice place all around in an ugly strip mall. For the prices, food and service are good.

Their lunch specials are great and they are pretty fast! I loved the Crazy Cousin noodles. I still prefer SomChai on Grand in the area.

They served the rare steak on a small plate so you can add to the hot broth yourself and it won't be overcooked. There were lots of noodles and meat. The broth was very delicious and not overly salty. Very large portions. Was only able to eat half and take the other half home. The waiter was nice to pack it up for me and had separated the broth from the noodles and meat. Had also ordered the Bahn mi House special sandwiches to go. I tasted more of the mayo than the pate. I like pate more so maybe next time I can ask for more pate and remove the mayo. For me it seemed there was more toppings than meat. I do like how the bread is cut from the top, so the food didn't spill out from the side. They have a large selection of Pho and Noodle bowls. Would definitely need to come back to try their Bun Bo Hue or Dirty Pho.

Unfortunately, that server came across as rude and was noticeably rolling his eyes while my family was taking their time placing their order. It made that part of the experience unpleasant and definitely stood out compared to how friendly the rest of the staff was. Aside from that interaction, we really enjoyed the food and felt the portions and quality were a great value for the price.

You place your order on the tablet, there is just one guy working in there who makes the food and places it on the counter. The decor is simple and just right. The food is the best food ever! I had the rice paper wrap with tofu in it. I could only eat half as I was so full. The seasoning on the fries is so good.. and the cucumber salad was top notch. Even the drinks in the cooker area were very interesting that I had never seen before. It's very clear that this is a very well thought out restaurant. The only feedback I would give is to add a couple of options for vegan gluten free in the menu. My wrap had to be customized and communicating with the chef was a bit of a challenge due to language.

Zenwich - Tasty Food, Lacking Warmth…read more My family and I recently visited Zenwich and tried a little bit of everything--two sandwiches and two rice bowls. Let's start with the good: the sandwiches were delicious, with standout bread that really elevated the meal. While I wouldn't go out of my way to make a special trip just for them, they were definitely enjoyable and well-executed. The rice bowls earned a solid 7.5 from my husband and son. Flavorful and filling, but maybe missing that little extra something to make them truly memorable. Where Zenwich unfortunately fell flat was the customer service. We visited around 5 PM on a Friday and there was only one person working. Not only were we not greeted when we walked in, but we stood at the counter for several minutes without even being acknowledged. I even saw another customer politely thank the staff member after asking for a napkin, and he didn't so much as look up in response. It left the whole experience feeling impersonal. If the service matched the quality of the food, this would've easily been a four-star visit. With just a bit more effort in the hospitality department, Zenwich could really shine.
