Not sure if the owner is cheap or what but they water down the sauces for the wings to make the supply last longer. This is what an actual server told me when I was wondering why the spicy honey mustard wings they brought out to me looked "naked". She brought me out an additional side of the "sauce" a.k.a water and it was equivalent to dipping my chicken wing in water. Not the shit special Buffalo Wild Wings tries to pass off as a special but a real wing deal. 20 wings were like $12!!! B-Dubs is like double that on wing night nowadays. My first time at this place so no idea what sauce to get. They let you pick 4 sauces with 20 wings. I went with Hot which was not very hot but tasty. Honey Hot which I'd rather just do the Hot. Medium which is not hot at all but again tasty. And lastly the Golden flavor which I'm guessing is honey mustard and hot sauce. I probably wouldn't get it again but not horrible by any means. They have a bunch of really unique flavors on the menu like Chicken and Waffles but I'm an old school buffalo/bbq guy so no crazy flavors for me. Then I waited 12 for a server to say hi. Terrible service for a half full restaurant. It was pleasant service, once he arrived. Didn't see any lunch specials like at other Natives, so I ordered 12 wings, fries and an iced tea for $21.69. Much steeper than Wing Stop. My meal arrived in 6 mins. My wings were hot and plump. The Salt and Vinegar wings were excellent. S&V is a dry rub, and they coated the chicken thoroughly. The Hot wings were supposed to be sauced but only one of the six had 'sauce' along with the flavor. The others were closer to a dry rub than sauce. The fries were exceptional. Ordered for delivery 2 orders of the 1/2 lbs strippers. Was supposed to come with celery for each order and one ranch per order. All I ended up getting was the strippers and 1 ranch. I messaged the restaurant and no response. No partial refund. No sorry. Nothing. And on top of all that the food is just okay. It almost looked like they had run out of the strips and given me some boneless wings mixed in. I haven't been to Native in years. Only once or twice since they changed from Native New Yorker. They used to have the most incredible Asian Garlic sauce that they sold because it was so popular. The one they use now is pretty bland. And the buffalo sauce used to be made in house and now it's that neon orange bottled stuff with fake butter flavoring. It's just not great. I ended up ordering it because it was the quickest delivery time and they were offering free delivery that day. By far one of the cleanest places I have seen. The staff are so friendly and happy. You can tell they love their jobs. Alexis in the bar is one you must visit. She was on point on every drink I tried, and I tried every cereal shooter they have amongst other things. I'm coming back tonight to try trivia. This was second time there. First time they got drinks wrong, but fixed it and food was decent . Last night was HORRIBLE! We sat at table and waited 25 mins to get served. Ordered appetizers platter & two drinks. 30 mins later still no food and not even offered another drink since both were gone. Waiter kept saying,"few more minutes , I'll check on it." The servers a few months back were always amazing and kind and I've never had any issues before until recently . First and last time we ever order from Native Wings. Placed an order on Grubhub and all went through just fine. 5 minutes before pickup, I receive a generic email telling me half my order was cancelled and refunded but didn't tell me why or what part of the order I wasn't receiving. We got wings and a burger for the two of us to share. They cancelled the burger and didn't bother calling me to let me know. Instead, we show up to pick up half an order at which point we don't even want. They didn't even bother telling us that the burger wasn't in the bag or that they had to cancel it. We specifically had to mention the idiotic email we received for them to tell us, "oh yeah, half your order is purposefully missing". They said to send through another order and they'll make a new burger. Why? So I can wait 15 minutes for it? Your not getting a single cent from me ever again. And what really pissed me off is there was no apology. I can't imagine thinking, as a manager, that that is a good way for you to handle a situation like that. Utterly pathetic. Eating at this Native location was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. When we entered, we were greeted by a "please wait to be seated" sign, and so we waited for several minuted before anyone took notice of us. When we finally got to our seats, our server failed to offer us any menus, so we awkwardly waited until they came back to take our orders, at which point we asked to see a menu before ordering. Admittedly, my next gripe is partially on us because we chose to go during karaoke night. The music was unbelievably loud, making conversation impossible. The songs people chose to sing were pretty offensive, with very explicit lyrics. (During one song, the patrons at a table near us moved themselves to the outside seating. Evidently we weren't the only ones offended by the music.) After the person running the karaoke confessed that some patrons were complaining about the music, the songs became slightly more family-friendly... for about 10 minutes. Honestly, if people want to sing X-rated Adam Sandler karaoke, that's their choice, I just wish I had known beforehand that someone would be singing about sexual fetishes while I was trying to enjoy my appetizer. Amidst all this, my friend my friend nudged me and pointed to the wall above our table. "What is THAT?" she asked. It was (I kid you not) a cockroach crawling along the wall. And at that point I lost my appetite completely. Our server never came back to refill our drinks, and in fact we never saw them again until long after we were ready to leave. Went there early dinner, ordered the Thursday special 1/2 lb. Strippers, first order was barely warm, they redid the order and the second order was hot, so good for that. Refills were very slow, had to ask for utensils, when the bill came, they had added the strippers we sent back on the bill, had to ask them to correct this. So bill came to 38.00, gave them 45.00, waited for change, had to ask for change, they thought for a 38.00 dollar bill that they were given a 7.00 tip for an order of strippers, loaded tator tops, ice tea and a beer. When they did bring the change they gave us two dollars back, it should have been seven dollars,they gave themselves a five dollar tip. Guess we will go somewhere else next time read more

This is my go-to wing place, particularly in Sundays for football. It is also convenient to Hohokam Field for after spring training. Bike ride and beer. The food is delicious, especially the buffalo chicken nachos. If the table isn't getting this as an app, I get it for my meal. My salsa-snob boyfriend questioned the salsa that came with it, but I don't use it (just extra sour cream). The wing flavor menu is long and has something for everyone. Honey hot and BBQ hot are my favs. If you have a sweet tooth, the apple tart and baby bundt cake are drool worthy. They have a decent selection of specialty drinks, so I like to try a new one every time we visit. I have been happy with everyone I've tried so far. For beer drinkers, there is a fairly long list of draft and bottle options. Our waitress was really attentive and the manager made sure to check in on our table to see how the service was. It was a Wednesday night, but not crowded, so we got a table in the bar right away. Our drinks were never empty before we were asked if we wanted the next round. This week we were there for trivia night. I love trivia nights, but this one was a little different than what I am used to. Rather than being a question with one answer, it was done Family Feud style where you gave an answer and your points were determined by the survey results the host had. It was fun, but I prefer having one definitive answer. Because there were a variety of answers we had to debate whose answer was better. I usually don't complain about customer service or a restaurant in general but tonight was a bad experience. My friend and I walked into native grill on Mesa and brown around 6:00pm. It took 15 minutes for us to even be recognized by the hostess that we were even there. We should have walked out but we were hungry. We got sat and our server was Joseph. He took our order and brought our drinks. At this time there was 4 other tables that were sat 10mins after us. He attended to two of these tables as well. My complaint comes that there were more to these tables parties (more people) they got their food and every thing first and we were there way before them. We didn't order much 2 order of buffalo fries, mozzarella sticks, and 1/2 pound of hot mustard strippers. When we got out food the strippers had no sauce and were cold. I was hesitant to even eat them because they were cold. I had to ask the serve which was a female if I could have sauce to go with the wings since there was none. The mozzarella stick came out cold. The cheese was hard not melted at all. The only thing that came out right was the two cokes that we ordered and had to wait 30 mins to get a refill. On top of that the fork and knife I was given to eat my food was dirty. I have a picture of the knife but I just use my friends fork to eat. The other serves were fighting over the bus boys of who would clean what table first or help carry out food. I'm the middle of the night I work up throwing up. Aka food poisoning. I understand restaurants get busy. I decided to give this location another shot last night but the exact same problems continue here. We waited at the front for over five minutes before someone greeted us. It was 630 at night, but the staff had orange cones and cleaning supplies all over the dining room, almost like an obstacle course to easily trip over. Then once seated, We waited about 15 minutes while the staff cleaned around us but never took a drink order. What an absolutely horrible experience. I work right down the street from this location, so I thought I would give them a try for take out for lunch. Seems that was a huge mistake. My order was pretty simple, some chicken strippers and tater tots. I was told it would be about 15 minutes. When I arrived, I still waited another 15 minutes and was told that unbreaded chicken takes longer. Well, when I returned to work to eat, I found that my chicken strippers were actually boneless wings, and are too overcooked and tough to eat.
