Went in with the family for what I wanted to be a good breakfast. We got horrible service. The waiter never came around to see if we needed anything else. I had to tell him to clear the table so that we can comfortably eat. Then I had to tell him to bring the menus so that we can get drinks. He never showed back up to ask what drinks we were interested in. When I brought it up to check out, all we got was "I'm sorry to hear that." Not even if there's anything we can do. Poor service equates to bad experience. We will not be returning to the place at all. read more

This establishment if excellent. Beautiful to look at, modeled after a yacht with great service and super clean. With all of that said, the meals are the bottom line and the bottom line is that they are splendid. Everything has great taste and is delicious. Service has always been good for the twenty years I have been going there. They operate like a full fledged restuarant because they do almost everything yet they are quick about everything. Prices are also fair. I go with my wife, young son, and mom and the total bill is about 100 or less. Add alcohol and it will go up but come on, thats still very reasonable in 2020. Well, I'd say the best thing about this place is that it's open 24 hours. So if you can't find any other place that is open, this one is... We got plain French Toast, French Toast Monte Cristo, and the Crab Cake Sandwich with fries. The fries were the favored item. Service was okay. The menu is huge! There are so many choices and a lot of the food is pretty good. When ordering, keep in mind that you're at a diner, meaning don't expect a great meal out of the fancier dished they offer. Simple things are pretty good, like most diners. Visited this place 30 oct 2015. I must admit they did a great job with the halloween decorations... wish they could have done the same with the food. Ordered farmers omlette... eggs came out extremely well done and dry. The potatoes seemed under cooked. Also had the pumpkin pancakes and seemed it was heavy in the flour because the pancakes were thick to chew. Buddy ordered the buffalo wings... not enough meat on the chicken. Service was awful... never got refills on water. Had to track them down for things I needed. I wouldn't recommend this place as a diner to stop by. read more

This is one of my favorite diners in the new Rochelle/larchmont area. Forget getting your wings at bdubs, you got to try the wings here! They're delicious! They're open 24 hours a day and have a huge menu! I tend to lean towards breakfast food when I go to a diner but these guys make a mean eggplant parm. Be warned, portion sizes are huge so if you're not terribly hungry, don't order that appetizer! They have OK wines for a diner. Nothing special. Greedy people own this place and they do not care about the poor service that is delivered A disgrace to Mamaroneck/Larchmont. I have been to many places in many states but was never treated as poorly in my hometown. They think for some reason that this is a 5 star restaurant with the prices on the menu. It is far from it. This diner is an excellent diner. I have been coming here for years and I have never been disappointed with the food, service or anything. Nautilus has beautiful decor throughout which is visually beautiful & I appreciate the way this diner is well kept, and tidy. My favorite dish, that I have all the time here is the florentine omelette. I would recommend this to anyone. I also love the eggs benedict, and the espresso, and the cheese cake. This is our new go to diner in the area. We previously went to BLD diner since it was a little closer to our house, but it got worse with each visit. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Salad and my husband had a burger. Both were good, service was good and prices are what you expect in this area. The menu is large and has so much to choose from, I will have to try some of their specials in the future to see how they do with those. I debated between 3 stars and 4, and only gave 3 because we really had a limited experience. Will update as we return. read more

This diner is the best. It has been my first choice when I don't feel like going to far from home. This has been my choice since they tore down the New Rochelle diner and replaced it with Walgreens. It is always clean, staff is friendly and the wait staff are awesome and always have a smile. You are usually seated pretty fast. The best time is in the morning during the week. Although, we were almost bombarded once with the high school kids. I'm assuming they were from Mamaroneck High. The food is always amazing and consistent. Prices are decent and they give you a nice serving. Place is spacious, plenty of room to move around and not have people staring in your face or plate. Nice size parking lot. Staff is consistent. If you're reading this and thinking of trying a diner in the area, go to either Mamaroneck or BLD Diner. I'll be direct, here is a list of things that are consistently bad: - Order accuracy -- every single time, something is wrong. - Stale bread -- they have no issue taking stale bread, heating it, and serving it to you. - Terrible waiters -- pretty self explanatory. To get more specific, some are quite rude and some others will flat out forget that you're there. Every time I decided to give this diner another try, the misery of eating there is refunded to me shortly after being seated. Well located, easy to find and to park. We went there last Saturday evening, table of 9. The waiter made it easy for us, knowing that the Dinner was almost empty. I should have known better. My Cheeseburger with jalapenos was kind of strange: Excellent meat quality, nice taste, would have been so much better if it was not cold. French fries were just OK. My friends who ordered Eggs Benedict hated them and did not even eat half of it. The overall feedback was that the cook must have been on vacation. The decor of this establishment reminds me of places in cape code. It has that coastal feeling while on the boader of Larchmont and Mamaroneck NY. The menu has plenty of items ranging from breakfast to Dinner and they are open 24 hours a day. I asked for my burger medium well, and got medium. The price of my friend's waffle fries is way too high and I was charged extra for lettuce and tomatoes. The service here is "okay" at best, and I should have known something was not right when their menu stated they will give only one refill on beverages.
