The main reason this isn't rated higher is an odd choice by the owner: you can only get "full service" at high top tables (tiny with uncomfortable mostly backless stools) or the bar. They have plenty of comfy low tops but when I asked the counter person if we could sit there (and would gladly tip the server well) we were told that they'd tried that before and the owner had gone off on them. Wow. Almost left, but we were hungry and didn't want to blame the messenger who was friendly and probably more than the boss deserves. To be fair, the Brussels sprouts appetizer was good, toasted ravioli special very tasty, and the pizza was fine. Wine selection was also good and fairly priced. Beers notsomuch. Not a single stout, porter or even a Scottish or brown ale. Not even Guinness in cans as a backup for those who like darker beer? Got an OK farmhouse ale... You'd probably be fine if you like pop-hoppy IPA's or ciders (which are obviously popular). Wanted to like this place, but think the owner set the tone with what felt like a lack of hospitality in spite of nice, willing staff, and never overcame it. read more

Terrible service and long wait times. Came here at 8:00 on Labor Day Friday. Place wasn't busy at all. Took seats in the "full service" area and waited. About 10 minutes later we were finally acknowledged by a random server that "someone" would be right with us. I'll fast forward from here...40 minutes later we got our burned BBQ wings and 1 hour in we got our small pizza. This is probably the worst managed and run "fast" food place I've experienced in a long time...and I'm old!! Stay away from here...there are many other choices close by... read more

First time at Neo Pizza and it was great! The tomato salad special made for a great appetizer. The server with the tattoo, I believe her name was Rebecca, made sure I had a great dining experience. She gave me good recommendations and made sure I enjoyed my experience. She checked up on me often and took great care of me. I got the Fuego pizza as my main entree and it was delicious. So we have been a frequent (let's say 15 times per year). I saw the menus from Chalkboard to electronic, to no tip ( frowned upon, to now tip). If you weren't there from the start avoid the comments. So I ordered a side of French fries. Before they were in a bowl and plentiful. Now as of last Saturday, you get 10 and the broken ones counted in the 10. Never will go there again. This review is long overdue. I come here each time I am in town, and I'm never disappointed! The pizza combos on the menu offer a unique option to please anyone in your party. Some of my favorites are the Fuego, the Great White, and the Chesapeake. I love how they even have cauliflower crust. They always have some sort of random special entrée, but honestly it's always delicious! Beef stew, catfish sandwich, you never know what will be on special when you come in haha. They offer a long list of beers and even have milkshakes. The servers here feel like your friends, and they will take care of you. I recommend Neo's 100%! read more

1st.. fresh squeezed Orange Crushes, do I need to say more? Delicious. Brussels sprouts were perfectly cooked. Pepperoni, sausage, peppers pizza was good with a nice light but not to this crust. This was the worst customer service I've received in some time. Sat myself at the bar. Had to get a busboy to get the bartender to take my order. After sitting here an hour, she looked at me twice, but we interacted probably 4 times. Felt like my presence was an inconvenience for her. I'll never come back here. We love Neo! My husband always gets the Philly cheesesteak pizza and it's really good. I love that they have so many choices for toppings, especially vegetables: broccoli, spinach, zucchini. Arugula, and of course all of the regulars. And lots of protein options too. Their crust is always perfect and the offer a cauliflower crust. They have a great selection of draft beers and IPAs and you can get a flight and try 4. We also love their salads and Brussel sprouts which are roasted not fried. The servers could be more attentive, but the pizza is so good it's nbd. read more

We visit Annapolis frequently as my husband is a USNA grad. We were staying at the Crowne Plaza Hotel across the street and did a pickup of a large margherita pizza and an order of fried calamari. The pizza crust was severely undercooked and so soggy and limp that when we picked up each slice, it drooped and all the toppings slid off. Even the slices that we folded were droopy. It was such a mess. The sauce was bland but the basil kind of saved it. The mozzarella cheese was so thick that you could not "cut" it with your teeth and we ended up eating small, white, cheese hockey pucks. The calamari was rubbery and flavorless, as was the accompanying marinara sauce. Maybe the food would have tasted better if we had dined in (or if we had an oven in our room to finish cooking the pizza.) But we won't return to find out. The crust was actually crisp, which was good. It could have used 30 seconds more to get it all the way there. The sauce was average. Just average. Again I was assured that EVERYONE loved the sauce. The toppings were very good, especially the meatballs. But skip the bacon. You get barely cooked chunks of fat. The service concept is confusing. Sit here and it's counter service or sit there for table service. But this is not marked or clear. And I ended up having to go to the bar for a drink refill anyway. They have beer and wine. OK. Neo Pizza at the Annapolis Towne Centre at 220 Harker Place, Suite 145, Annapolis was an great setting for dinner Saturday night! You can order at the counter as soon as you walk in and your food is brought to you, or you can sit in a full service area.  The bar is pretty massive with seating too.  Televisions usually tuned into sports, and several beers on tap.  The overall feel of the place was relaxed and friendly. The food was exceptional!  From the appetizer we ordered of meatballs to the brick oven pizza to the salad, everything was delicious.  The beer & wine selections are ample enough for anyone's tastes. Service was on point.  We had Cathleen taking care of us.  She was great!  She nailed our order exactly, she helped explain a few items on the menu and checked in regularly.  We really enjoyed having Cathleen as our server. If you haven't been to Neo Pizza at the Annapolis Towne Centre at 220 Harker Place, Suite 145, Annapolis definitely check it out!  Parking is a piece of cake with the shopping center parking across the street and the Target garage just next to and above the restaurant. read more

Ordered food for lunch at the office last week and it was really great, all my coworkers agreed. I got a build your own 10 inch and an order of funnel cake fries with strawberry sauce. The pizza was thin and crispy with the perfect amount of sauce, cheese and toppings. The funnel cake fries are crispy, not at all greasy and ore coated in cinnamon sugar. We got a pie to-go so my review is really based purely on the food. Took about 25 minutes from the time we called in, so the wait wasn't bad. This seems more like the type of place you're getting a specialty pizza over just a plain cheese pie. So many options sounded great on the menu but we went with the BBQ chicken pizza which was delicious. The crust is nicey and chewy and its a good sauce to cheese ratio. This place is a pretty solid wood fire oven pizza joint! With rotating beers you can also get a growler which is pretty cool! I've ordered the veggie lovers, margherita and made my own pizza. I definitely enjoyed the one I made and the margherita the best in terms of flavor. The veggie lovers while loaded with lots of great vegetables, does not have a lot of flavor (herb or seasoning). The seasoning for the red sauce on the margherita is good and the basil comes through nicely-it nails it on this classic. The one I made was a veg take on the fuego and I really enjoyed it. If you can't tell, I really like strong and fresh flavors on my pizza. They are fast and if you like wood fired pizzas you will enjoy them. When we could eat inside, the beer was also cold and they had a great selection that you could sample before making a final choice. The pizzas are also a good size, and last time I ordered three large for four adults and we had almost a whole pizza left to give you an idea of the slice size. read more

As I pulled into Target today in Annapolis I noticed that they had put a new pizza place in the lower storefront next to the AT&T store. I came in off the street with no prior knowledge or preconceived notions of what to expect. The place is fun and family friendly. On to the food, I ordered a 10 inch Margherita pizza and a side salad with their house dressing. The salad was about 1-2 cups of lettuce with diced tomatoes, onions, and cucumber. The dressing was very unique and not over powering. A dark Italian dressing, if I were to guess. The Margherita pizza came out and was very visually appealing. I took a bite of the first piece and got a good mouth feel of the sauce and basil. The crust was a little soggy for my taste, especially from a brick oven pizza joint. The sauce had a lot of potential although it really needed to be sampled in the kitchen before applying it to the pizza. It was missing salt, and was very bland. But, don't get me wrong it is 1000% better than any pizza chain it is just not the best pizza in Annapolis. The ambience and service is great but the pizza is not. The cheese they use is more akin to rubber or melted plastic. It is so cheap and low quality it strung out for nearly 3 feet when trying to take bites. We ate less than half and then left. I'm sure it's the cheapest mozzarella they can buy. Also for our kids meal we chose a fruit cup which was a lousy grocery store like cup of fruit in syrup like kids take in lunch boxes. It was terrible. read more

My friends and I were craving some pizza and decided to give this place a try. We were given the option for indoor or outdoor seating. Since it was a very nice day, we chose to sit outside. The area was very clean and the staff were all wearing masks. They sat us down very promptly and gave us ample time to decide on what to eat. They were very attentive and friendly, and the food came soon after ordering. We got both the Florentine and BBQ chicken personal pizzas. Both were very delicious and well priced.
